1) You should have trust issues when it comes to DBD
2) It only lasts 8 seconds - which is pretty brief.
3) It didn't happen to be a Deathsliger was it?
1) You're absolutely right.
2) It happened within 8 seconds for sure.
3) It was against a Spirit

I was just messing with you
Come on, man. You know how tribalistic and defensive this community can be. Don't play me like that :(

You guys deserved it using that cursed thing >:(
I mean, I specified that I rarely, if ever, use it. I barely even used the original version.
I actually rarely see anybody use it...

- What are the biggest Mistakes the killers do that play against you?
- What are your most common mistakes that could cost you games?
Im really interested in wht you guys will say :)
-Our ranks currently ranged from 4 (me) to 12, I think
-I'm currently using Adrenaline, Lithe, Resilience, and Spine Chill. Among our group, we have a pretty even spread of perk use, almost in an architypical-class sense (Highly aggressive to full support), which we never structured ourselves, that's just what each of us likes
-I'd say three. More often than note, we tend to rotate who the sacrificial lamb will be.
-Spirit is still our #1-hated killer. Doctor is #2 but that's just due to his shocky, out-of-the-box nature.
-We love playing against Myers, but I don't think there's one killer we consistently "demolish". It's very player-dependent.
-Our killer ranks are all over the place. We've had a lot of one-perk low ranks, occasional red ranks, and everything in-between.
-I don't think any of us play toxic. One friend always has Decisive on, I like to blind at pallets, but none of us are in-your-face, teabagging, clicky-clicky toxic.
-They run loops on basic-autopilot; in that, they never try to mindgame or double-back effectively.
-Some games, we're all diving-in for an unhook. Other games, nobody calls the unhook and the person stages before someone actually gets there.

nah, when survivors don't have to say "gg, ez" against a killer who played bad, or just talk trash in general like it's a COD lobby.
So a survivor must FIRST be perceived as nice via post-game lobby chat, BEFORE the hitboxes that occurred during the actual game can be better?

@Deltin said:
it'll end when entitles survivors become nice.... aka never.
Which would be achieved...How?
A survivor standing still once the killer finds them and allow themselves to be downed?
-
How about - It's a random chance one will be picked over the other?

He better have an obnoxiously hairy chest w/ some gold chains - He's a gambling man, he needs to flex

That's actually hilarious looking. The fact that it's right next to a rock and tree but still out in the open and clipping through the ground. Such a slap in the face.
-
Yeah, I loved Balanced Landing but it 100% needed that nerf, and even then, it's still a great perk that still opens-up the map while in a chase.

insta heals nerf is a joke they are still very strong. pallet vacums didnt need nerf because directly was stupid and needed to be fixed, brand new part was the first few things the listened and that really was stupid as ######### that actually needed a nerf but they should have realized by themselves no one have to say anything like pallet vacum. but most of what you sayed didnt need a nerf it just was stupid than even if no one complained they should have realized it was a huge problem, so everything they fixed till now was actually bvecause was completely biased.
the second thing was mom, but how many stuff 2 or 3? how many times have listened survivor nerfing to the ground killers, addons, aspect from the killers? did they ever touched god loops¡? jungle gyms spowning next to killer shack? did they ever touch totem spowns? because i still see them spowning 2 mts away from gens. they never listed to killers except when the problem is just way to big that they need to do something. but every time a survivor cry they listen.
You seem biased.
-
Did you even read the Spirit changes? They're not even changing that much.
You can still stand still at a pallet and a survivor will have to guess what you're actually doing, cause "Muh mindgamez lul".
-
lol "Gen camping" holds as much water as gen rushing.
-
Yeah, I don't think so.
-
I think the Huntress already has a lot of good skins, but this sounds cool and would match the Red Forest map offering.
-
I mean, that's just the risk you run while running hex perks.
-
I don't understand the people who want looping removed.
I understand there are a few situations where loops may seem quite difficult as a killer, but you need to figure out when you should and shouldn't break a pallet during a loop.
What do you expect survivors to do? Run in a straight line and take a hits every time?

Ace,
For that smile,
That damned smile.

Here comes a biased killer opinion.
The whole crawling to a pallet to make being picked up a risk for the killer is weak and I'm glad they are as is. To many times I've downed someone in a loop just before a pallet and their buddy is lurking in the shadows just waiting to pounce.
Ya it may be a nice play but it should come with a degree of skill and chance.
They pushed that "degree of skill and chance" to such an extreme though. The fact that survivors have to wait out the entire pick-up animation AND hope the killer does abuse m1 to cancel the drop animation from happening isn't right. It's essentially to the point where these sorts of plays are nonexistent, save from the points you receive from getting the alleged stun.
Furthermore, "chance" should not be a factor in these sorts of encounters. A->B. If I preform Action A correctly (Dropping a pallet at the correct moment), then Reaction B (The stunned Killer dropping the survivor from their shoulder) should occur. There should be no sense of chance here.
-
Yeah, saves were way too easy to make then, and I understand making flashlight saves as difficult as they are to make now, but pallet saves should be fixed tbh. Not so that they were as easy to hit before, but it's ridiculous how precise it needs to be now and how it can be completely avoided w/ m1.
-
Last one I attempted, I waited longer than usual, and they still blocked the drop with m1.
-
Can people really make situational builds if they don't know who they're playing against?

Entitlement at it’s finest right here.Be thankful your vials aren’t tied to your objective. You can get nectar without having to do Gens. Killers have to catch and hook folks on their special hooks to get ANY nectar. If the Killer can’t catch and hook people, he gets nothing. You can still get nectar without having to do Gens.
You don’t have to do your objective to get Nectar, Killers do. I’d love to hear you whine if it was attached to Gens “The Killer is Camping the special Gens!” You know, like the Survivors did with the BBQ event.
In exchange for NOT being able to camp the “special Gens”, you can’t Sabotage Killer’s special Hooks.
What would you rather have? The flowers off to the side, or Killers camping the special Gens?
I've literally never had a single killer camp special gens during the BBQ event. And you don't seem to understand the point at all. Killers have their event condition tied to their normal win condition - Hook. Survivors. Because survivors have an event condition and win condition that are completely separate, the likelihood of survivors reaching their win condition is now less probable due to people tunneling on nectar nodes.

@Exciter said: I haven't had a single good game as survivor since the event started. It seems like there's a killer bias due to their event points coming from hooks, something killers do already, but survivors have to go out of their way and focus on an extra objective for nectar instead of it coming from generators, which makes more sense, no?
Plus I'm getting really annoyed at the little event window that comes up after every game after getting some nectar, and the post-game lobby seems to be a bit buggy now.
I couldn't agree more. The killers will definitely have an easier time if even one of the survivors is focused on nectar. It is totally unfair the they get progress towards what they were already doing.
In my opinion, the flowers should have ONLY been on hooks. If survivors sabotaged a flowered hook they get their nectar, and actually gain something that would be at least slightly useful.
That's actually and interesting and way more fair concept, having to fight over nectar with the killers. Either way, this is a HUGE killer bias. Asymmetrical AF.
Killer bias lol
Guys what's the difference between the time you spend to nectar and the time you take to please a totem? Oh right most survivor dont do that then cry about noedIts not that different, I'm used to cleanse all totems I see and this event makes it swap from totems to nectar. Dont cry over greediness. Like over altruistic surveys giving them inv frames, which is no more thankfully.
Even totems doesn't give much by your line of thinking but I do those all the time. More bp and more boldness for emblems, wow almost like the nectar with bp and points for cosmetics
So by that logic, there are potentially double to totems to get, which means double the time not being spent on fixing gens or helping survivors, AND decreases the probability of hexes being cleansed? Cause with the speed at which games progress now, survivors aren't able to spread themselves that thin.
Maybe "bias" isn't the correct word, but the event is blatantly one-sided. -
It's simply just not as profitable to play survivor now when you can secure easier wins as a killer going against nectar tunnelers. PrettyGoodBlunderSoFar/10
-
Has anybody significant brought up how unbalanced this event is yet? Or are devs completely aware and are just shilling out to killer crybabies?

It's not even JUST the fact that people are prioritizing nectar over gens, but they also place nectar before unhooking survivors, making the fact that survivors have separate survival and event objectives now exponentially worse.
