Silent hill should get another chapter though
Definetly. I'd kill to see Harry as a Survivor and Silent Hill as an overall map would be great.

It's Dead by Daylight, not Resident Evil: Dead by Daylight.
I wasn't talking about another Chapter, if you don't want to read this long then fine.
Whilst i personally wouldn't mind another, i also would think it's overkill.
What i was talking about was more Cosmetic sets, because as said.
The Two Survivors from Project W barely have any from the many Iconic looks that they DO have.
And those who have enough still have some great look to share.
I don't know why this should be gatekept.

Her Umbrella Chronicles bandaged fit and RE6 one are my favorites for her! There’s this one fit of Rebecca with a white long sleeved top and leather shorts it’s cute! I’d love more stuff for Claire too hopefully that happens one day… The two fits I posted of Ada are super popular ones In RE Verse and would probably do super well in dbd!
These Look absoloutely sick!
Would love to see them make an entrance in dbd too!

I'd rather have John Kramer voicelines for Jigsaw boxes whenever Survivors with a RBT on approach or interacts with them than i would have a Legendary outfit of John Kramer.
Hoffman i guess would be fine as a Pig legendary outfit, although some Survivor legendary outfits for Tapp would be nice too.
I brought this idea up too.
"Would not be the same without Tobin Bell's voice though."

I don't get how people want to see DBD "Die".
It's just a stupid thought, especially for the people who have spend their money on this game.
Sure, there are some problems that make DBD more frustrating and perhaps even too competitive, but even aside from that, i think the Developers right now are doing a great job.
Aside from that, it also literally gave us the option to play our beloved Characters from deadbeat franchises like Silent Hill and even level them up to our liking. (Even though im not a fan of the current prestige system.)
I do hope that perhaps TCM is kind of a regulator and competitor for DBD, since Competition is always something that every project needs to have in order to be great, but i surely dont think its going to even scratch DBD in that sense.

I'm confused...
When she crouches, does she become way faster than she usually is and with the help of 2 Add-ons can gain an Action speed of 80%?
Did I miss the killer that can crouch and goes faster when crouched? Who that?
In general, she could use some buffs.
But I do like her perks from a lore standpoint. Except hangmans trick... that one feels a bit random.
That was Wraith who never crouches.
Yet when cloaked, he does hide his terror radius so you could say that he's "Croched" while cloaked.

I believe this is a good idea that could actually make her fun to play against and play as.

Thats, True. But i also believe that if her rework takes as much Time as Twins Rework, then they should at least Nerf her beforehand to stop her from holding Matches Hostage.
If not, then Rework it is.

I am very much opposed to anything in the game being exclusive. People missed out on timed cosmetics simply because they go on holiday, end up in hospital or have other things happening in life.
Everything should end up in store including charms. Just make them harder to get in store. For example, charms should be 2K shards per charm or more depending on rarity.
Make a deep rift outfit 50K shards to unlock. Hard to get but if you really want it, you can still grind for it. They might also want to give you an option to buy it with Auric Cells, which would make them a lot of money.
That was my idea originally, but i just wanted to respect the people who owned these cosmetics.
Yet putting it at a high amount does make it better and still respects them.
And the reason you stated is exactly why i came up with this idea.
I for example wanted Ghostface's and Mikaela's Outfits (Mainly Mikaela.) but just because i was gone for some time missed them out completely and have no way of getting them anymore.
It just kinda sucks since you really liked that cosmetic, but aren't able to get them anymore.

Still, children getting tortured would still be considered part of horror though, personally i don't really see why it's any worse than any other horrifying act of harm.
In fact, i specifically remember one particular torture scene from the movie Doctor Sleep where the True Knot tortures a kid to obtain his shining steam before killing him.
In that case, im overreacting. Thank you gor your reply.

It’s great that you get to keep everything because you earned those items. The way it was done before was… imo… kind of dumb. I mean you could easily just wait until you used everything up that you had before you prestiged but still…. As far as the other part goes… people are dumb. I’m sorry to be so blunt but thinking someone is either a bad player or an exceptionally skilled one based on something as trivial as prestige is just nutso. Prestige isn’t a skill ranking. It’s not a reward you get for completing specific challenges. It’s just a leveling system from spending bloodpoints which everyone gets no matter how they play. Yes, exceptionally good players are more likely to earn more per trial, but that still wont give any indication of skill through how much BP they spend on a single character. People need to just stop and play the damn game and have fun.
I can remember when i played in 2020 and it was the way you described.
People didn't give a flux whom you played since these prestige Levels didnt show up and mostly only played out of fun, not for competitive reasons.
Nowdays however, i meet so many godawful competitve players and im not saying they're a bad thing, but single handendly if you're not in a great Prestige Level they're going to take it more serious than even, which you're absoloutely right, is tottaly nuts.

No, no... I don't mean she doesn't need some changes but overdoing it would mean a lot more
I don't want her overbuffed. I agree with you there too.
Otherwise the Community would begin to hate her and ask her to be nerfed, which would mean she gets terrible nerfs again.
I also think that she just should recieve some tweaks that make her a decent Killer that still gets rewarded in the same way as usual. (Playing Strategically against the Survivors results in better win-frames.)
Meaning faster Action-Speed and as said, an ambush that can be used strategically to block loops.
Perhaps when chasing a Survivor long enough, something could activate that extends her loop and gives her a little speed bonus or whilst near a pallet.
However, if that would be too much, im not sure myself.

Literaly the only problem with Pig is that for some reason people think tunneling an active trap is a good idea. 🤷♂️
Not Sure if you mean me by it, but i dont have that mindset.
Those 10 Matches i experimented with wont hurt anyone in comparison to the 300 Matches where i was one of the Kindest Killers you could ever encounter.
So if you mean me by it, sorry, you got the wrong person.
Yet to other people...
Simple Example:
A Bubba can use his chainsaw to camp you on the hook. But what person would do that?
Well as you might see and know, mostly all of them.
The same goes for the Pig in this situation too and any other Killer when it comes to camping.
Give the wrong person a potential to be strong by doing the unthinkable and they use the living beast out of it.

If you mean me by it, sorry to dissapoint you but i dont have that mindset.
Im a very fair and kind Killer which is as you can see, why i main Mrs.Piggy.
Those Matches i meant were experimental and only 10 of those which all of them happened in Silver IV, which wont hurt anyones rank either compared to the 450 Other matches were i was the Kindest Killer and didnt use these methods.
Yet there are some people that do have that mindset...
Its pretty simple:
The Cannibal, aka, Bubba can use his chainsaw to camp people on the hook, but why would anyone do that?
Well, if you know, mostly all of them.
Thats what they're known for.
If people see a oppurtunity and don't give a flux and dont care about others, they will simply use and abuse that oppurtunity and as i said, the Pigs power currently feels like one of those oppurtunitys.

I've been a Pig main for 3 years... I find her fun
Why exactly makes you feel that way... just a question
Yes her stealth is a bit slow... crouching could use a speed up, plus the TR reduction could use a speed up
Her ambush could use a tweak or 2... but it's all right for now
I picked up Mrs.Piggy. aka. Amanda Young because of two reasons.
She's from the Saw Franchise and a very Interesting and perfectly Designed Character to me.
She was a stealthy, trap-setting Assasin who put people who are in the wrong into a John-Inspired Trap and just like him, carried on his lineague. (Even if most of her Traps were fng rigged.)
My Problem with her simply is that if you compare her to other Killers, she massively falls down.
Shes not a feared Killer, for Most people i know shes even a boring Killer to go against and her Ambush Attack is just not in a shape you expect it to be in the current Meta.
Wesker, another Licensed Killer, can easily GLIDE across Pallets and get a Survivor.
Amanda needs to use her Ambush Attack and take a guess and even during this the Survivor could EASILY leave the loop and then you basically have no more chances.
Im not saying you shouldnt enjoy her because i simply dont, because everyone has their own opinions and if you're happy with her, then who the hell am i to tell you not to?
The Fact simply is: Imagine if she does get the recognition she deserves and a few buffs and the next time you play her, your games become easier, shes more fun to play than usual, people like her, shes a very balanced Killer then.
Wouldn't that be a Dream to you? Well, for me it is.
The Reason why i think she just isnt good is because her current power still feels like it was meant for the Old Days, literally considering nothing has changed about her.
Which is as i said, what his post is about.
Yet i do see that just some tweaks and changes could fix her already.
My Suggestions would personally be this:
The Crouching Needs to be faster.
The Ambush attack needs to be able to somehow help you during loops.
And to her traps?
I would only change these things about them:
- Neither the Pig or the Survivors can see the Billy Boxes, unless they are in a radius of 32 Meters. This makes her traps actually scary and disables the Ability to play her in a toxic way.
- The Boxes therefore are reduced to 3, yet the search time will be considerably longer.
- Once the Survivor has obtained a Key from a Box, the Timer will add 12 Seconds onto itself and the Survivor needs to put into the key by performing the Same Skill Checks as the ones you have to do when taking down a Skull Merchant drone.
- The Current Green Addon: Rule Set. No 2 will have its effect changes that when a Survivor has this Skill Check, they need to perform 6 Skill Check Boxes, instead of 4.
- (Side Idea: Instead of Having a 3rd Box, it will be changed to a rotting Pig Head or Corpse that the Survivor needs to put their arms into and search. Just like Amanda during her first Test after she stabbed the guy on the floor. (This is just a Idea for Shock. I myself hate gore and DBD has strict rules when it comes to that so this is just a small suggestion.)
The Reason why i would exactly change it like this is because it would definetly suit the Saw Franchise better.
Sure, you found the Key but no one in a hurry can easily push a key in that easily.
We even saw it with Amanda during her first Test from John. The Lock was BEHIND the Headtrap and she was having really panicy trouble even reaching it. Especially with Bloody fingers.
I dont think anything is going to change about her.
But im certain that if they let her stay like this, she goes from being C-B Tier right now.
To Being a Low D Tier in a Year because the Meta changed yet again.

Can you give a summary (list) of perks you used for your matches? I'm interested in it.
I'm planning on returning to Pig and play some matches and I need some tips.
Personally, she needs one simple modification: the transition from standing to crouching and vica verse should be faster. And that's that.
- Save the Best for Last. If you're unlucky and get the obssession first i would simply break the chase and go for someone else. But before that it would always make sense to injure that Survivor because that puts them under more pressure.
- Corrupt Intervention. Gurantees a bigger frame to find Survivors and partially stops them from gen-rushing or hiding.
- Spirit Fury. Breaks Pallets when you broke 2 Beforehand and when you get stunned. Combine this with Enduring Tier III and hit into the pallet on purpose so the Survivor will definetly stun you with the Pallet, then it will break and you will only have a very short stun time and you are guranteed a hit if you go forward for like 2 Seconds. STBFL will then do its joj and shorten the wipe Animation which grants you more speed and if you have 6 Stacks already then that second hit will definetly follow shortly after.
- Enduring. What i said above. Is kind of a better Perk for Pig than Brutal Strength as it reduces the time of the Stun and feels like a identicsl Speed Length to Brutal Strenght when breaking a pallet.
Add-ons:
- Crate of Gears. (Very Rare, Purple.) (Gives a better Time-Frame to find survivors at boxes and shortens the Headtrap Placement time by a LOT.)
- Combat Straps. (Speeds up crouching and uncrouching by 30% which makes it more smoothly and hides you faster. Isn't a must and can be replaced by something else but for me personally, this is gameplay wise a big improvement on her power and a lot of help.)

Are you legitimately saying brutal strength is OP?
Where did i mention Brutal Strenght or any other Perk? Im talking about her power.
Also, whilst trying this i didnt even use Brutal Strenght as whilst it might come into handy it just felt more like a waste of a perk slot on her.

I'd wait until after the event tbh.
I know people don't like playing the games they hate but if you liked the game enough to play it so much might as well grind out some terrormisu you can use later to cut back on some of the grind for new content.
I currently am doing that because if i leave for sure, i want to have one Side on my Killer or Survivor deck at least at P30.
Nancy seems to be the better choice since she has already been P20 For me before the event and i recently picked her up again.
To Killers: I have 5 Killers Equipped with 50 Stacks of Terrorismu and will keep doing so.
To say, i really liked this event at the start, especially the oppurtunity to farm much BP, but for me yet again, it has become linear.

I'd say Wesker. He's praised as one of the most balanced killers in the game so you won't have to expect any drastic changes to his power for a long time. There's a reason he is so commonly played as, he is a pretty fun killer to face and play, it's just that facing him constantly makes him have this 'bad' reputation. Once you learn some Wesker tricks, it can really help close just about any loop and rewards tactical plays. He's also a bit like Blight, I mained both of them but I have to say that Wesker felt more fun to use. I used to watch this streamer play as him and they really showed just how good his ability is.
The one thing he struggles with is gen pressure so you would probably have to utilize a gen-regression build.
Definetly have him on my view. Even though he got Killswitched a while ago. 😭

So, you’re saying that you can win if you tunnel survivors and camp the jigsaw boxes, but you want the Pig to be buffed even further just so you don’t have to use that strategy to get a guaranteed win? That doesn’t make any sense.
If you only care about winning, then tunneling and camping is the best strategy to use. If you care more about all players having a fun/fair experience, then play for jump scares and hooks. I personally always have fun playing against the Pig whether they tunnel or not.
That's not what i said. I don't care about a full 4K winning streak, but at least a decent one which consists of 1-2K's to keep you above ranks and being able to level yourself up + To give your counter players a fair gameplay experience.
Whilst going against the Pig is a fun experience, it's mostly due to the fact that she's easily outrunable and doesn't usually get your entire team in my point of view. She does get some hooks if advanced, but other than that she's laughably slow.
And what i meant about the whole "Buff" thing. I meant that the Pig's power should be reworked instead of "Buffed" which yes, maybe the rework does buff her in some ways, but the current power she's using is outdated which just weighs her down and makes her frustrating to play.
In the current meta, "camping" is considered something that should be counterable and needs to be balanced. Back then during Pig's release, that was a whole another world where Camping WAS a balanced Strategy since Survivors usually obtained the upper hand. But today that's diffrent and when the people said that Pinhead camping the Box was unfair, what did Behaviour do? They removed it.
Meaning that they view "Camping" as a problem and not a valid strategy. Imagine you're facing a pig player get freshly off the hook to remove your trap and she just comes out of nowhere to tunnel and hook you once again. Doesn't that sound unfair? Isn't that frustrating to play against?
That's what i meant, i want her to change in a way where she becomes fair like other killers and doesn't have to rely on the absurd strategy of basically tunneling injured survivors off the hook to chase them at boxes, because why should this be considered a legit strategy?
Times have changed and in my opinion, so should the Pig.

Recent perks like Face the Darkness can make playing against pig a real problem, given ofc rn she isn't working due to bugs but yeah.
Trying to finish a jigsaw box and screaming then being forced to reposition as your hat is timing down is so hillariously unfair with the slower box solving. You scream, reset have to hope someone gets the totem, or commit and hope she doesn't come to box with your aura revealed LOL.
She is always one of two ways, synergises with nothing, or something comes out and she is utterly busted with it in a kick you when your down sort of way.
That's what i was kinda talking about.
Once you don't use your Boxes for Toxic camping stuff, the Survivors basically have a fair but also easy game, but once she does so and uses Perks that are A-S Tier for her advantage, it's basically over for you.
That's why i think she needs a rework, the power is really outdated and it shows.

Leave traps as it is,
just make crouch faster and increase movement speed. Then I don't care about TR.
Don't you dare to touch my roar. That's what I enjoy most on Piggy. This would be like Wraith without bell.
I wouldn't remove the roar since i like it too. I was talking about regressing it for more of a "Jumpscare Moment" since if Ghostface is in the stealth mode and prepares his attack, you usally only hear his clothing rattle around like when he is super close to you and vice verza for the pig, this would mean that once you reached halfway of the ambush attack, she would begin to roar and perfectly start her attack. Sounds more realistic in that manner too, tbh.
As you already said, if they just made her faster in what she does and tweaked some stuff there, then Pig should become a decently playable killer, definetly agree.
To the Traps, i would definetly go over a rework. Sorry to say this, but the traps are most commonly the most underdated and useless Thing about Pig, the Iridescent Add-on where the traps are already on Survivors is a life saver, but other than that, a perfectly normal Pig match.
They are easy to get off and basically when do you ever encounter a kill with the Reverse Bear Traps or pressuring? In my opinion, almost never and even with Add-ons making the search box timer longer or the Timer shorter survivors can easily just get them off and if the End-game hits, then voila. The Beartraps have officially become useless.
Also in the regard of the Saw Franchise, it's all about putting someone on trial and testing how they react. Pig's ability is basically just: Put Modified Bear Traps on Persons head and if they don't skidaddle around a Box in the right time, then they can say Bye-Bye.
I did hear of an interesting concept once which you could "recollect" your bear traps like Huntress with her hatches for one more time and during the endgame, the beartrap on that persons head would activate once they're off the hook. There they need to "Make Their Choice", do they search for the Key or do they A: Unhook a Survivor and gain 1000 Extra Bloodpoints in the "Altruism Category" or B: Heal another Survivor and gain 500 Extra Bloodpoints in the "Altruism" Category. For the Unhooking part they would have also been blessed with the "Endurance" Status effect for 7 Seconds. So Good deeds, don't go unpunished and once this kind of event starts, The Pig also recieves 1000 Bloodpoints in the "Devousiness" Category, with the title "Let's play a Game."
Another idea was to buff her Perks and tweak her ability just a little, since the same worked well for Hag and any other killer. Problably the best solution.

You have to be running the perk. The survivor does not have to be exposed because of the perk. Put on other perks that apply the exposed effect or use Ghost Face or Myers.
However, I have been able to hit more than 3 people at a time exposed by MYC in a single trial. I was running a build built around it in those matches, though. (MYC, Nemesis, Furtive Chase, and some fourth perk).
I did not know that, since i own both Ghost Face and Myers, the challenge shouldn't be so hard now. Thank you for replying and giving me this Helpfull tip.

You should definately play on low with those specs, honestly should probably play on a lower res or stretched res as well, as the extra performance will go a long way to make the game smoother.
You can change whatever you want in the.ini it's not the game files it's just how the game stores your settings, there is nothing you can change in the .ini files that will get you banned. Only editing .paks will get you banned, that's not something you're gonna do by accident either.
Thanks for your comment. I've tried doing Low and was okay with it, (Since i only care about gameplay.) however, the icons suddendly looked crusty and for some uncertain reason simple effects of the game were suddendly removed. I've tried doing an 1600 x 1080 stretched res with the graphics, since it's still has an 1080 Resolution and the game then looked good like in 1920 x 1080. However, i noticed that when doing so and playing survivor this gives me kind of more view for some reason and an unfair advantage, which i did not aim for. Is this an unfair advantage? I also tried going with 1600 x 900 Resolution, however, then the visuals of the game suddendly became not really viewable and hard to make out. Im not sure why, when it is with other games its still the same just not as unviewable as Dead by daylight. Also, with the bannable question i meant the Options that are avaliable at the start of the page. Are they really not bannable? Because i read somewhere that changing them, does give an chance of being banned whenever starting up the game with these settings. I enabled an screenshot this time to show which settings i meant. For the other already awnsered questions, thanks for awnsering them. (If needed i can also upload an picture of the 1600 x 900 Resolution if needed.)

Still, one of my Favorite ideas for DBD.
-
Altough, im not someone from behaviour. I can see why this is an good idea, but also why they wont add it. This does elimenate motion sickenss, nausea, tension headaches and more. But, we will most likely not recive this option for the game because many players will label this option as cheating, because "Survivors have more FOV view than the killer!", "The Killer has more FOV view than the survivor!". The Argument just continues and goes on until Behaviour is forced to de-equip this option from their game. If the playerbase was far more diffrent, adding this option would be no problem, but over the years, more and more toxicity has been entering the game and when the trash should have been taking out already, they just decided to let it rot and now we have to deal with an playerbase similiar to L-O-L. (Didn't play the game but appearently from what has been told in videos on the internet over and over again, the playerbase is very identical to dbd.) However, this sounds like an very good idea and i still believe that this can be added inside of DBD, if certain things are changed.

Hello Switch cousin! I had assumed y'all probably have the toughest experience with DBD performance-wise, but wow just wow.
My Xbox1 has always had issues running this game well, particularly after many matches in a row, but never have I seen a surv hiding in a locker and the locker visual itself removed. Absolutely insane!
We all would benefit so much from a good thorough optimization, across all platforms.
Gosh, really? I tought only on the Switch device's the performance would be this horrible, since i have seen some other games which had some similiar issue like Dead by daylight but which were completely fixed. But i never expected it to run so bad on all platforms and especially on the Xbox one, an high quality console which can run any game at high graphics. Hopefully since they have already said that they will listen to their playerbase now, they will find an way to fix these issues and bring back the good performance, to the platforms. Meanwhile, i probalbly can only continue the game on my PC. Sad.
