I'm playing on steam on a pc using windows 10 with a i5-7600 and a gtx 1070. Since update 7.10 after every other match the game crashes in the loading screen. The only way to get going is to force shut down of the game.

I keep getting these same errors every time i play and one of them causes me to get penalized for some dumb reason and the penalties keep getting higher and higher causing me to not be able to play. I'm about to just give up on this game at this point, this doesn't seem to ever be addressed. If it's not error code 502 hitting me it's error code 4.

So I used to edit the ini files manually to play on 120 fps but now that there is an FPS limit in game that doesn't work anymore. The problem is I can only get the in game limiter to work in Fullscreen mode, and I heavily prefer to play in Windowed Fullscreen. Anyone know how to fix this? Very frustrating.

With DBD's recent update, the fullscreen option was added which greatly helps the performance of the game for people that don't have the best hardware. Whenever i'm playing killer, there's a chance that whenever i'm starting an animation like kicking gens, grabbing or hooking survivors, etc, it crashes my game, and it's crashed so many times that by dc penalty is at the 2nd 30 minute penalty. This was on PC btw.

I wanted to try pc only and disable cross play for a few matches, now I want to turn it back on and can't. I've unistalled and reinstalled and it changed nothing despite is supposedly meant to "automatically turn on" when it is installed. Since the update, I've had severe stability issues in the game. I'll enter a match and everything will be fine for the first few minutes, then everything stutters, frames drop, my sound for everything on my PC cuts out and it will continue this way until I close out the game. Since the anniversary chapter, there have been consistent moments of stuttering & freezing during chases. It happens so often that it can actively ruin a match as the screen will momentarily freeze when I’m about to swing at a survivor or during crucial moments in chase with a killer. The Switch needs some kind of optimization patch to help with performance.
