Every killer is abusing 3rd down grief. This is where killers finish off 2 survivors then when they down the third they abuse the breakout mechanic by picking up and dropping the survivor 4 times until he automatically breaks out. So, I was in just in a game as killer to get the "War of Attrition" rift challenge, I got it then finished the game. Upon entering the main menu, it said my challenge had not been completed and I have been banned from matchmaking for 24hrs, I did NOT DC. So I've been getting the error code 4, failure to validate files with EAC or what it says, for like every 2-3 days for the past 6-8 months. I can play fine for a couple of days until it's happening again. This is on PC. I have verified files, repaired EAC. In the guide under the quest there is one that is no longer possible! It is Tome 15 Quest "My Body, Then My Mind". The perk that is needed here "Blood Rush" has to be used twice here, but since the last update it can only be used once each round, but you have to complete this challenge in one round. Before the Alien update I used 150% resolution scale, since the game is capped at 120fps I have plenty of power to spare. I'm on Windows 10. Back when you had to edit GameUserSettings.ini to cap your FPS at 120, I did this and set the file to read-only. I eventually uninstalled DBD for a while, and while it was uninstalled, BHVR added the in-game FPS cap option. As the title say. The game will launch. It'll enter the splash screen and load until the end then stays there until the splash screen disappear a few moments later.
