Any cool killer concepts?

  • the nails were put in this coffin when the Unknown came out IMO but I (thankfully) quit League of Legends years ago and still think about the generally awesome horror design behind Fiddlesticks, one of the cooler horror designs from an otherwise non-horror game I have ever seen

Really? I like Unknown and some of the killers after him are fun as hell (my main is the lich)

  • Maybe a killer that controls Time would be awesome. The ability to give survivors hindered and give yourself haste seems like it would be fun. The design is slightly similar to The Clown so maybe something added to it. Not too sure, maybe I'll think of someone more.

I just meant that Fiddlesticks gameplay design in motion is similar to The Unknown's idea of leaving body doubles around (though Fiddlesticks leaves scarecrows)

There's always just been an excellent horror footprint around Fiddlesticks: Older than time, demonic embodiment of fear, has no voice of his own, only cruel imitations of the one's he's killed, uncanny and uncertain visage, no reason to become some existential threat to the world itself but instead chooses to lurk the countryside and pass by as a legend, although being very real.

his rework Character Theme is also one of the more bizarre and actually chilling themes for a character in any game IMO:

  • I've got two concepts in my head that if I had any artistic talent I'd try and visualise, but unfortunately I'm a writer instead.

The first one is a werewolf Killer called the Accursed who changes from human to monster form by 'tracking' Survivors with enhanced sense, and then becomes fast and really dangerous in beast form with a lunge/pounce like the sprinting attack that werewolves in Skyrim have. The metre for transformation would obviously be a waxing moon. I particularly thought it would be extra messed-up if it's clear from the human form that he doesn't want to do any of this and is trying to warn the Survivors off.

The second was a fairy, but like a folklore-accurate fairy who delights in causing lethal mischief, called The Unseely. They'd have a thorn lash for their weapon and could use magic to grow rose bushes that hinder Survivors passing through them. They'd also have Fairy Rings of mushrooms that they and Survivors could teleport across the map with, but while the Unseely could choose where they go, it's random for Survivors. Obviously they'd constantly be laughing and cooing, occasionally saying something weird in Old Irish, and their Terror Radius would be a jig.

Does this confirm Clown has time control powers?

  • Nope but he does have haste and hindered.

  • 3rd person The Blob

You start as this little ball of blob with no terror radius, about the size of chucky, and get a tentacle swipe that if it hits a survivor it reals them into your blob. When the blob touches a survivor it absorbs a health state and starts to grow. The more it grows, the bigger and faster it gets, height and lengthwise, to a point where you can cut survivors off with the tail end of your blob at loops. Once it reachest a certain size/speed, doorways will start to slow the front end of the blob down when going through them.

At about mid size it gets a terror radius, at large size it has a large terror radius.

For flashlight /stun purposes they could add a little round "Core" with an obvious front that you can aim at to blind, and hitting the core with a pallet will stun.

  • How about a killer that stun-locks survivors and injures them for free?

Haha just kidding, that would be absolutely insufferable.

  • Banshee.

Rooted in Irish/Celtic folklore (there are other versions in Europe too, like the German Winselmutter - which roughly means "whining mother").

An old (ugly) woman (sometimes also pictured young and beautiful) in white night gowns, pale skin and long white hair who is sitting in the night in swamps, next to paths or under windows - constantly weeping miserably, sometimes also said to hide their face from you.

Whenever you meet her it either means your death or the death of a loved/close one (especially your family) is very very near.

If you ever hear her screaming, the scream will kill you. There is some versions who say she will definitely scream at you if you see her face (in the versions where she is hiding it).

It basically is some kind of death fairy.

As screams/sonic travels and ricochets it could be a cool concept with a killer who hurts with horrendous screaming

and edit: wants you to look away from her to avoid seeing her face.

  • I have one concept I've spent a while on:

    The Dad (Roy - DHMIS)
    HEIGHT: Average-Short
    SPEED: Slow (110%)
TERROR RADIUS: 30m (I think that's average, if it's not whatever average TR is)
    POWER: Executive Producer
Hold M2 to hold up the clipboard and LCTRL to select the Lesson, then press M1 to Teach it. When you Teach a lesson, it is gone until restored, Lessons do not recharge automatically.
    Lessons:
Creativity - Place a closed Sketchbook on the ground. When a Survivor walks near it, you can teleport to it and gain faster speed for 60 seconds, changing form into the creepy Yellow Guy from S1E1.
Time - Tony appears at the gen with the most survivors on it. All Survivors cannot move and have constant Killer Instinct pings for 5 seconds.
Love - Roy transforms into Shrignold, losing terror radius but gaining a 15m lullaby (love song). He also gains fast movement speed (130%). He transforms back when he downs a survivor.
Computers - Teleport a downed survivor into another realm where they have to play a (easy) fnf style minigame. Every 3 mistakes gives a hook state. When the song is completed, they reappear in the Realm.
Health - Spawns 2 small, loud objects (bread and spinach can) and one Ai killer (steak) that all sing the health song. Survivors downed by the AI killer give Killer Instinct pings. After 1 down, these objects and AI killer disappear.
Dreams - blocks all pallets for 10 seconds. Larry the lamp appears on top of them, kicking his feet.
    SPECIAL INTERACTION: Creative Stations
Six Creativity Stations (clown paintings) spawn around the map. Roy can interact with them to regain one lesson of his choice. Survivors can interact with them to sabotage them, leaving them uninteractable for 60 seconds.
    PERKS
Green is not a Creative Color - Each time the Obsession misses a skill check, you gain Killer Instinct on them for 15 seconds. Each time you hook the Obsession, you become Obsessed with another Survivor.
Hex: June 19th - At the start of a match, a Dull Totem ignites. Whenever you kill or sacrifice a Survivor, all Survivors return to their starting positions.
Sitting Duck - the Killer can see the aura of Survivors with crows circling them. While they have crows circling them, Survivors gain exposed.
    MORI
The Survivor stands, terrified, and Roy slowly places a hand on the Survivor's shoulder. Then, the screen glitches out. When it comes back on, we see a giant duck can eating the Survivors intestines, shoveling them into his mouth. The camera slowly zooms on Roy, then glitches out again. When Roy puts his hand on the Survivor and the screen glitches out, from the outside instead of seeing the giant can they see a cardboard box with "Mori Box" crudely drawn inside. Instead of the Survivor's body appearing after, a stack of canned duck appears instead.

  • And I actually have a poll to see if anyone wants Roy in the game:

dash + blink + projectile + teleport + hinder + haste + block windows + exposed + undetectable + mori on second stage , pick some then you made one good killer

I actually disagree with that, killers are better when they're unique.

  • I would love to see a killer using some sort of mortar. Not comparable to trickshots with unknown or animatronic, but rather a killer that can aim forward, but his shots fly upward before descending rapidly.

    Something like that.

... I dunno why but imagining a killer with a falcon that just dive bombs using this mechanic makes me smile

"The Falconer" sounds like a dopeass killer tbh

  • I just wish we get another lore inspired killer like the Krasue

Maybe a Djinn or something coming from Africa ?
