Is 1 Anniversary Offering per 1 Level really too much to ask for?

I remember in the past having bloodwebs with 2-3 cakes in them and now for the big 10 year anniversary we get like 1 cake like every 2-3 levels...

It's one thing that half the community doesn't enjoy the event because killers get like nothing but to screw over new and old players afterwards with the extreme grind is just sad.

  • I don't understand why BHVR changed that at all. They had no reason, the BP grind is already broken for players that are willing to farm thousands of cakes.

    You don't?

    It's spite. Nothing but spite.

They knew that a lot of people want to play during the anni to get cakes, they were irritated about getting dragged for something and so they did this.

If they'd wanted to buff this, they'd have given more than a 10% buff - this is little more than a calculated middle finger.

Looking at your posts, hope things get better for you in time. You really do not seem to be a happy person.

So I can't call something what it is. I am also quite happy in my life thanks for caring.

It's not, IIRC one event item per web used to be guaranteed. The fact that they have ratcheted that back to whatever the hell THIS is is just so unbearably disappointing.

  • That's a low bar.. Either way 27 cakes per level isn't bad after 3-4 prestiges you get around 100 which is about 13-15 matches that's not that bad.

    You didn't answer my question.

People want them higher. They've historically been higher.

Aside from just…spite, what are you giving people grief for wanting them higher?

I'm not doing this out of spite or anything, its genuinely just that this A: Isn't a big deal imo and B: Most of the playerbase doesn't seem to care about cakes since were at an all time high player count. Also keep in mind: the less BP you have the less you have to grind and less grinding means less people playing which is bad for moneys

    Okay. Let's try this again.

    • People come back for the anniversary. The count in a week will tell a much more complete story.
    • Clearly it's a big deal for you to waste this much virtual ink on it. If it wasn't a big deal, you'd be a lot quieter.
    • …What? You can't buy BP for money.

    • I just meant the in general player count even without anniversary.
    • I am writing this as something to do in between queue times instead of doom scrolling.
    • Less BP grinding = Less time on the game. Which means you won't be exposed to in game transactions as much, then you see people playing with the new content and think "That must be fun, maybe I can stop running the same build every game." And then they eventually buy new content. Along with the fact that anytime you see someone with multiple prestiges wearing cosmetics which they most likely didn't spend iri shards on since those unlock more characters it gets more money for devs. Essentially by making the grind impossible to complete, it gets people to keep coming back to the game because I guarantee you if you had everything unlocked you wouldn't play this game nearly as much. Because there would be no incentive.

the player count that skyrocketed once Jason was added? Yes, a highly popular slasher being added to the horror game might boost that up a small bit like Springtrap did with FNaF fans. That doesn't discredit that a lot of folks who play the game on a regular basis are unhappy with the distribution of cakes this year, a lot of them having many all or most characters owned and prestige 3.
