my friend has the killer but has not touched him until today, he came to me asking for build or add ons even though i dont even own said killer
what are your opinions

i chose gore because i remember being told that the longer it takes for the box to be solved the better

If he has it he should use lethal pursuer / bbq to learn box logic
He only has Cenobite, Clown, and Pig out of others
Not a terrible build. My personal favorite is Starstruck, Pain Resonance, Dead Mans Switch, and Agitation. But I made this build over the last couple of years specifically to stomp altruistic survivors or bully squads. It takes a lot of practice with his possessed chain to get those snowball downs with Starstruck, but I've found its the best build for him.
Frank's Heart with Larry's Remains is the best possible perk combo for him, allows you a lot more breathing room to interrupt the box with a possessed chain.

Honestly Pinhead is a killer that can kinda run anything (ie: nothing is particularly bad on him) so depends on what they need/want as a player.
Personally like the one that hides the box unless survivors are close or a hunt starts, but that requires lots of bp to keep getting.
for addons id recommend impaling wire as it helps ALLOT in chase

as for box spawns it ALWAYS spawns furthest from both the survivors and the killer so if he plays a few customs with BBQ&chili against bots then he can learn their spawns and from there notice the box spawn logic
yeah were testing that right now, hes doing really well so far.
he hit an insane chain on me as i was in a tight corner trying to solve the box
also please do tell him that he himself can also break his own chains (annoyingly so)

only thing I'm not really sold on is Sloppy; if you're in a position to be basic attacking survivors, you're already in a decent spot with him imo.
if it was the old Sloppy I'd be like heck yeah brother but the timer really messed with it now. I'm only offering my experience but if I used that build, I'd feel I have nothing against a team that knows how to counter me except Deadlock delaying the inevitable. If you get pre ran and everyone is live streaming your location, you're not getting hooks or even M1s.
I think Pinhead should have just 1 info perk to help offload the mental burden of triangulating the box.(I like Deerstalker)
the inhaling wire should be your standard go to, with the iri Box right behind it. Those and the longer solve time are the best. These last couple months I've been branching out and testing the range addons they can honestly be nice for hex builds
he has swapped out Sloppy with Bitter Murmur, and hes actually gotten rid of Leather Strap for Franks Heart. ill update on his progress lol
