So it seems that Ice Nine Kills management team is issuing full copyright strikes on Twitch and YouTube, even if you muted the video during your stream and talked over it. Even Scott Jund was hit, his first copyright strike in 13 years of streaming.
I would post his actual tweet, but he used some colorful language, so it would violate forum rules.

Yeah I saw that pretty scummy behavior first the Ai music video now their copyright striking anyone who watched the livestream
The whole controversy over whether AI was used in the music video (think it was established that it was just bad cg) was already embarrassing, but this is unacceptable behavior from a partner affiliate imo
It's the 10 Year Anniversary Livestream, of course people are going to stream it. There were Streamers/Fog Whisperers attending the event in person that got to be interviewed (shout-out my man Paulie Esther).
If Ice Nine Kills doesn't want people using footage of their low quality maybe ai slop music video, tell them to release the damn thing themselves and keep it out of the Anniversary Stream. I had no opinion of them before but think little of them now.
This is ridiculous and it's nice that it doesn't seem like it's BHVR's fault as they have never ever punished people for restreaming their events in the past; they support their streamers. I think their own VODs got hit too??? Not sure on how factual that is
I don't know anything about this band but they should not be allowed to behave like this towards the community of one of their partners. If they didn't want people restreaming/uploading reactions to their stuff - then don't bloody put it in the livestream of a gaming community widely popular with streamers and content creators

How to kill community goodwill towards you in record time (only towards INK I don't think BHVR would ever do something like this).
I say BHVR should cancel the collab after this controversy. We don't need more has-been musician collabs in the game that are just band shirts.
Unless this is reversed, I won't be buying anything from that collection. Absolutely ridiculous to do this.

If that's true, guess I'm skipping those shirts… Unacceptable behavior. Everyone's so hyped with the future of Dbd and all the collabs to come… and they're more concerned on issuing copyright strikes? That's basically condemning your own career.

Given the scummy history of this group y'know it was manual takedowns and they're using automated system as the scapegoat.
I know at least on YouTube if you copyright someone's video you take their money they made from the video or stream. This is probably a predatory tactic from ice nine to earn money
I sort of enjoy their music, and I did like the song, but this behavior from the band has cemented my decision to not spend my money on their cosmetics even though I thought the Legion mask was kind of cool.

it’s their management company they’ve done the same with other bands it was worse what they did to sleep token fans, striking them for fan art and tattoo’s. Rico management is to blame here not ice nine kills.
