If you could pick any killer to be in dbd, who would you choose?
I'm not asking for actual debates or what characters you want from a game standpoint I'm just asking: you get free reign to pick any character and put them in. Who are you choosing?
Me personally, I have a few answers
Marble hornets: id LOVE to see any slenderverse character, marble hornets being the best answer. Having slender as a killer or maybe even Alex with Jay as a survivor would be nice.
X-Files: less horror, more sci-fi, but having Scully and Mulder as a two-survivor pack would be super cool.

I wanna ride down survivors on a horse and take swings at them with a sword. Also, a good Decapitation mori + stuffing their heads in a bag would be great.

He's a completely unhinged Psychopathic serial killer who Believes he has to keep a wall in his home painted red with fresh blood, that can never be let to dry up and turn brown or something will come through… who's to say that something wasn't the entity all along?

One killer that I have total free reign over means I'm gonna bang my same old gong: Taylor Hebert/Skitter from the web novel Worm.
She'd make for such a good killer. Though, adding her would probably exacerbate the need for some kind of phobia filter, lol.

Witchboard could be a really fun license. The Ouija board mechanic could be cool.
A dream Survivor for me would be Alex Shepherd.

If all alive survivors remain within the totem's radius for 300 seconds and do not move, all generators immediately complete.
"Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?"
Little Nightmares would be cool. I would prefer the Lady, i have seen suggestions with other bosses like the Hunter.
for survivors i honestly only see Outfits for original survivors like Meg in a yellow raincoat and Jake with a paperbag over the head lmao.

Discussions about a crossover between The Evil Within's Ruvik, The Keeper and Stefano and Dead by Daylight have never really stopped on the internet in my country. Sure, the conversations are scattered across different places, but people are definitely vocal about it. For example, under any random video about Dead by Daylight or The Evil Within, if someone brings up the idea of a crossover, it'll easily get close to 100 likes😇

Candyman used to be in my top 3 and I'd still love to have him but the passing of Tony Todd and the unfortunate truth we'd probably have a soundalike instead of VLs reused from the films made the character go down my wishlist. RIP to a true legend of Horror and a great, great man.

Jason, for sure. If for no other reason than he's on he mount rushmore of killers and it just feels wrong that he's not in DbD.
Pennywise is a close second for me, though as a character, number one.
Candyman is also on my personal wish list. Also the real Freddy. M3gan would also be fun, as would an original Wendigo killer.
I'm a huge X-Files fan and there are a few "monsters of the week" I would like to see ("Flukeman", Tooms, Pincus (the insect monster)), but I know none of them have the juice to make it into the game (Mulder and Scully as survs are a dream of mine, though).
Semi-related, I'd be surprised if the Twins weren't at least partially inspired by the killer from S2E20, but I digress
One thing I'm not in love with is are killers that aren't distinct or part of a collective (like the xeno, even as a huge Alien(s) fan). I think that killers in DBD should be a unique individual and not just one of many. Just my opinion.
And not to offend, but I don't get the Art the Clown love. The star of those movies was the inventive kills and practical effects, and Art was just a vehicle for them. Not an ounce of personality, imo.
Art the clown: being a somehow demonic unkillable clown that uses various weapons/objects to kill and emote people sounds really funny to me xD
Probably not the most creative option, but one I would like.
Also if we're talking about killers in the game I would take bligh: being a drugged monster that runs fast against walls and hits people with a cane sounds funny as hell :D

I'd love this too, the one thing I always wonder about is how would they incorporate this into the game? The mori would be phenomenal but I'm always wondering how gameplay would work.
