Is SBMM too strict or is there just 5 survivor players?
Like I understand a new killer, and I fully expect at least a longer queue…
These queues are straight up 10 - 15 minutes or even more, each time. It isn't playable. I don't think that's normal even with a new killer. There's no way the population is THIS skewed.

New chapter + New killer everyone wants to play = long queues
They released a killer only chapter that's breaking records, so obviously popular, while simultaneously pushing out a system that punishes survivors with dc penalties for basically existing.
At least some of the people who do want to play survivor are being forced to wait out false positives dc penalties for a grossly overtuned system, while others are just going to stop playing for a while to mitigate the collateral damage until BHVR fixes it.
Both of these issues lead to longer killer queues.
Should've been here during the two hours queues when Ghostface released lol.
Whenever there's a Killer-only chapter, queues explode.
I have been playing survivor all day and not had a single problem honestly. I'm assuming people upset about it are ones who like to "go next" often and are mad they can't anymore.
I've seen multiple reports of people getting the dc penalty from being hard tunneled out first. So no, I don't think it's entirely a "go next" problem.
I have been hard tunneled out already today, and again, no issues.
I main killer, but when that Survivor bonus is 2.5x, then, personally, I'm playing the Survivor (and putting the BP into killer)! You get 50K from matches even when you suck. (And, I do suck at survivor).
And, also, I've personally seen the game claim I'm intentionally dying when I'm doing my best. (The game is like…I don't believe you that you suck this bad…take a penalty.) But, I promise, I really do. Chasing down a survivor? No problem. Running from a killer? No clue. Pallets or something, if I can find one.
