What does the wiki mean by taunting Houndmasters dog?
I was recently looking up some numbers about the Houndmaster on the DBD wiki, under the search command section it talks about the ability to taunt the dog and how it apparently will pounce at whoever taunts it. I tried with a friend to spam emotes and even spam crouch at the dog after it's been sent to a gen but nothing seems to happen. There is no prompt after its been positioned to "taunt" either. Is this some unfinished feature or am I missing something? I attached the wiki section below.

Huh, yea that is weird. I am very curious to find out how one would actually do this.
I would like the know that too.
I'm aware of the wiki article, but nowhere in game does it seem like he can be taunted.
Idk, but I believe you can pet it when it's in search mode.
bestie…you tell tales taller than Everest.
Well I am slightly incorrect. It's not the survivor but the killer.

that brought me joy.
Someone did figure out how to taunt snug though.

I can't believe you did this to me. I was actually excited for a second to see how someone pulled it off D:
It worked for me 😇 did you put on the kitty cat Mikayla costume?
It's practically an unused feature. The Dog will never linger in an area for or more than 4 seconds so it will never charge up. But theoretically what it's supposed to do is if a survivor would stay in the search radius for more than 4 seconds they would automatically be pounced. But even with the iri add-on the max linger duration is 3.6 seconds so yeah it will never trigger.
Play fetch with it with throw pebble
There’s also pizza delivery Dwight.
Ah I see, so it really is just something unused. I was really confused about all the numbers the wiki provided about it. Thanks!
i wonder, can cheaters technically trigger it by following dog on its search path via speedhacks?
