We need hooked survivors to act like the Cage of Attonmemt in base game.
This shouldn't be in 2v8 mode it should be core game mode to prevent killers from proxy camping and running back to tunnel off hook. I have been saying this before 2v8 was even asked about in the game mode survey. High mobility killers especially shouldn't be able to use their powers to force a hook swap or get another down. Moving hooked survivors should drastically make tunneling off hook less of an issue. Also want to clear up tunneling isn't my issue but specifically going back to hook to do it so if I'm found afterwards chasing me relentlessly is fair game at least I had a chance to play the game that way.

you can proxy camp cages as pyramid head if you didn’t know
I would appreciate a look at the numbers for any of the anti-camp mechanism values, as I personally don't think it's overbearing vs. killer as it stands and I almost never see it activate in my games as survivor in general, proxying killer or not. Any of the values for range, fill rate, or amount of charges required to fill the meter could perhaps be bumped up a bit (10-20% maybe) to make it a bit more useful, and then reevaluated again.
I'm not sure if the code logic could be written to make different values for different killers, such as if billy or blight is the killer, the range of the anti-camp zone is extended further due to their ability to get back to the hook more quickly than some of the other killers.
Cages should count as a hook state. They currently stop Dead Hard from activating. This is too punishing for a perk that can only be used twice per match, maximum.
Couldn't be bothered to create a whole thread to say that, so just tacked it on here.
I’m not opposed to this idea of hooks being moved. Last night I got tunneled out of game within 3 minutes by nurse. Instantly back to hook 🪝
She huffed and she puffed and blew me to stage 3.
As long as killers are intended to pick their own hooks and basement exist, then hooked survivors shouldn't teleport. The anti facecamping system is bigger than the mechanic on cages and you get basekit protections off hook as well as perks that syngerize with hooks.
Hooked survivors are points of pressure for the killer.
Well that's the whole point of the cages.
The cage ignores every hook perk for both sides
They are a hook state lmao
they just ban hook perks on both sides
I just don't think DH should be made useless by any game mechanic, now that's it so heavily restricted on it's use.
just don’t step in his trails lol and if that’s the case then let’s make perks like PGTW and Grim embrace activate via caging survivors too
I mean these perks also have limited uses so it’s fair to also use them
it´s not only DH, it counters DS, BT, DH, OTR, Babysitter, We´ll make it, Aftercare, No one left behind, Pain res, pop, grim, etc etc etc, only Pyramid head can do it (if YOU step on the trails)
I can sort of see why it makes sense for the other perks. You give up hook pressure and in return anti-tunnel benefits don't activate. I just don't think DH should get invalidated now it's been nerfed. I get that it makes sense based on how the game is programmed, I just think it's too punishing for a perk that is so limited in it's use.
I know how the trails work. But if you're looping you can't always crouch walk through them. Sometimes you run through them or you get hit.
I feel like being able to insta-hook someone is a strong ability in and of itself, due to it countering flashlight/pallet/sabo saves. Nullifying DH seems unnecessary.
