main event and overdrive open doors to insane power designs
we all loved your recent reworks bhvr, but lemme go to the topic
New overdrive and the main event from trickster are like ultimate powers , literally like the rage of sparta from god of war 1 (from ps2), so imagine killers like the knight, singularity, nemesis etc being able to like, charge or build up something to use as an super agressive power, imagine the knight filling a bar to use a special ability like 'after 5 successful actions by the guards you can summon all 3 at the same time´´ or something like that
what do you guys think about that?

Bro I like this idea honestly, but it would require the equivalent weapon on the survivor side to. You can't just add a cool mechanic to killers and leave survivors still holding M1 on a gen or using the same exhaustion perks. I feel like adding ridiculous things to both sides would ease up the sweatiness of the game and make it more fun or exciting at least.
What you just described is what Oni, Nemesis and Myers already do
"we all loved your recent reworks bhvr"
strong words
but yeah... some killers already have those.
do you have specific ideas or?
I mean it could he seen as a nerf but they could start with nurse, allow her to 4.4 or 4.6 until she collects enough gasps aka screams(cannot be countered by calm spirit) to power her blinks. Say your doing it to test ultimate powers but in reality just use it to nerf nurse lol
not really, they´re actually building up a power, not like a ultimate from overwatch, trickster can throw knifes without the main event you know?
i think bhvr should use this type of idea to rework nurse, like @Xxjwaynexx said here, not in a way that makes her boring, but a way to make her current power locked behind a different power like the main event, and obviously it's not just limited to nurse, freddy is one of the killers that 100% should have something like this, limiting his insane power to simply ´´survivor sleeps, survivor suffers penalty´´ is quite boring honestly
i agree, bhvr is trying to do it with the emps, flame turrets, but we´ll see
So...like Plague's red puke.
well, yes i guess
Oni not really cause he doesn't even get his power before collecting blood and gets no benefit from his blood besides the power.
Its like if Oni could use demon dash whenever he wanted but it couldn't insta down and once he reached 100% blood he could uber charge it to insta down survivors and move faster at the cost of more restricted turning
And overlock from Singularity.
Thing is, they are mostly weaker than average, as you said Oni and Myers are pretty much normal speed and M1, where the "rage mode" is make up for it.
Most killers are doing fine, I dont know why they want all of them have "rage mode". Its unique for some killers.
Billy changes are BVHR admitting that overheat was poor design choice but salvaging a poor design choice. The killer should be all unique, not all be the same.
The Billy blue flames are neat... Kinda want flames on huntress hatchets now.
I've never been so excited for a killer rework or change as I am with Hillbilly I am foaming at the mouth right now.
If Nemesis' ultimate isn't a rocket launcher, then it isnt Nemesis' ultimate
I think I got too excited, I loved Billy's new power haha
I don't think it would be good to add something like that for all the killers, like, what would the Wraith do? but rather as a way to fix killers who need special treatment as a nurse, without removing her identity
what if the guards made a random path when you use the power
ooh that does sound cool
wait what if bhvr made a fantasy game from this wouldn't that be cool :D
put all survivors in a radius in a ghastly maze and when they escape they are placed in a random place around the map
if you have a specific good idea, by all means, share it. but it does not need to be added to all killers. or even most killers.
what is nurse doing if her blink is locked behind a charge bar? does it stay forever once unlocked?
I can see freddy getting more powerful the longer the trial goes for, but I don't have an idea for it beyond turning him into old freddy with extra stuff.
is it really nemesis if walls aren't destroyed by him walking into them?
I'm actually hoping they save that power for Jason Voorhees

i don´t have many ideas and the ones i have would probably be so ass, but my first idea was first of all, making her not that slower than survivors and giving her only 1 blink, the nurse will have ability to share/collect/whatever she does with the breathe with the survivors, like the way old freddy putting survs in the dream world to stack her power, after that she can actiavate her power and have the common 2 blinks we all know
it´s really hard to nerf the nurse without making her boring, the power to clip through walls is so fun
and i´m not saying that every killer should have it, but new ones can deepen this element, and old killers can use the overdrive/main event idea to create a more interesting power (like myers)

He already had that, it was just subtle. Which is exactly how he should be.
Less generators to repair = less chances to generate a skill check in order to wake yourself up. Which is the reason why all 3 of his perks are end game perks.
Design wise its not a bad choice, but its also not inherently a good choice. It all about balancing the risk / reward and gameplay. Ultimate powers are something that a killer would play towards, meaning their basekit to that point should be weaker.
You mention Knight for example, he would be a bad way to do it my opinion. What makes the Knight unique is his ability to engage as an M1 killer while using his guards to either help his chase, protect a gen, or engage other survivors. If he had an ultimate power his base kit would have to be weakened, which would make him ineffectual.
Nemesis already does charge up his power, its just not a single instance, once he has it, he has it.
Some killers have what you want, its just not as strong/important as Main Event. Legion's fifth hit down for example.
Like I said its neither good nor bad. Having a killer like Blight is just always strong is good, but also having killers like Oni who enter periods of being really strong is also good. You want a mix.
If you were going to add an ultimate power to a killer that already exists, they would probably need a rework. I'd vote for Nurse, which some others have mentioned. She works like a normal killer until she charges up, then she gets blinks (either for a time or a series of charges).
i agree 100%
