am quite sure that the aura reading is gonna be nerfed to 5 or 6 seconds , 10 is just too much + having in mind that Lethal Pursuer exist --
if they dont them eruption is gonna become bitter murmur but better + with more uses and more value and like you said pretty damn strong on nurse..

You think 10 seconds of aura reading on the nurse (more if you bring lethal) wouldnt be strong for nurse?
Nurse will not use such meh perk. She will just pick a better slowdown or better aura reading perk instead.
Nurse's sustained map traversal speed is garbage, now that the range and recharge addons were nerfed, and because the double blink addon is difficult to use in an actual chase so many people aren't using it. Nurse will likely not be able to reach the survivor in 10 seconds, especially if they should be hooking the survivor they just knocked to the ground.

Prob better on blight than Nurse due to his superior traversal time, unless it's midwich or the survivors were working on it near her; it's going to be hard to capitalize on it. However, we will have to see. I can definitely say perks like nowhere to hide are good on Nurse because she can take advantage of it with deadly efficiency, but Eruption it's really going to be a hit or a miss, especially on big maps.

I'm a 2k hour nurse main. I was not "nerfed" when they nerfed her, because i run 3 aura reading perks. Aura reading is extremely powerful on her. Once you get to the point that you land a hit every blink combo, then aura reading will make you down survivors so fast you don't need gen defense. And 10 seconds of aura reading (more with lethal) is insane.

Not as a nurse. But for 10 seconds of aura reading? Definitely.
Over floods of rage/bbq/the litany of other aura reading perks that already exist? I do agree with you that 10+ seconds of aura reading is very powerful but is it worth the cost of having to use blinks/travel for x meters at 96% speed to kick gens to apply eruption? Compared to the other options that already exist? SWF can STILL use comms to completely avoid the secondary effect as well if they catch on that you're using it.
Pain Res is just better on Nurse, tbh.
Pain res takes 13.5 seconds of progress off of a gen, and doesn't actually tell you reliably where it was. Eruption will show you the aura for a full 10 seconds. A nurse being able to see the aura of a survivor should basically be a guaranteed hit. The best slowdown in the game, is a downed or hooked survivor.
The top nurse players never actually used starstruck and agitation. They use aura reading perks, because a nurse can down people faster than any slowdown that exists in this game, and having aura reading to guarantee a hit is insane.
That's just asking to lose all your gens quickly because as soon as people know it's a Nurse match, they rush gens, at least the survivors I go against, and 10s chases aren't going to help you much unless you get 10s chases the whole match without them making you mess up from time to time extending chases, which is something that happens even with the best Nurse players.
Not to mention it's effortless to counter aura reading, equip distortion, or have shadow step, which makes aura-reading huntresses and most killers who use aura reading very sad. (Any killer that really doesn't have an on-command aura reading like Myers wallhack addons or a blight with the one aura reading on bonk addon. Are hard countered by those two perks, and Nurse only has mini nurses calling addon, which is very useless.)
People hype aura reading as this big thing, but it's really not as good as people say. It's only good because people don't use perks like distortion or shadow step that are a hard counter to it. I know this because I used to use aura reading a lot until people started using shadow step and distortion more, which in the end, makes me play out a match with less value I would have gotten from simply using a non-aura reading perk.
Except that some of the top Nurse players did sometimes use starstruck. It used to be a good anti-SWF perk for Nurse. Do you know which survivors want to be in the killer's terror radius when the killer is carrying survivors? SWFs with flashlights, toolboxes, or bodyblocks, that are using voice communications to try to prevent the killer from hooking their teammate. Starstuck made it so you didn't have to worry about these things, because if survivors did get in your way, they were only 1-shot away from getting knocked to the ground.
