Community Choice Event
Congratulations Coal Tower, Dead Dawg Saloon, and Mount Ormond Resort! Those maps will be boosted! What do you know? That was my initial thought and then I go in and those 3 maps are in the lead for the Map Boosts. I know Coal Tower and Dead Dawg are fairly balanced I just don't like it. However whenever I see Ormond on that survey and see how much it's wanted, I'm reminded how survivor sided this type of event truly is. Again, me with my takes but seriously. Can we just scrap the map boosts of these types of events? Judging by the polls though, I'm probably alone on this but it's really hard not to burn out of this game when you're forced to go to maps you don't like and feel like you'd have to burn an offering to go anywhere else and as many would know, I don't like map offerings either. Hopefully I reach 18k iri shards by the time the event happens so I can just ditch it.

Glenvale's going to get boosted odds for the third time in a row. Daring today, aren't we...
Also, even though Soul Guard has never been in the Shrine going on 2.5 years, it still hasn't ever even been an option for this event. It's getting hard to think that that's anything but some intentional choice by BHVR to keep it out of rotation for some reason.
Well the way I see it is at least we got
Balanced map: coaltower
Killer sided: Dead dawg
Survivor sided: Ormond
So at least it was kind've balanced
Ormond ain't that bad. I often have very good killer games on ormond. Just gotta play to set up a decent 3 gen. And the ground floor pallets in the main building are unsafe af lol. Just don't let survs get that central gen done in the main building.
If this event was Survivor sided then The Game would be boosted. Instead there's Coal Tower, one of the most balanced maps, and Ormond, which is awful but could be so much worse.
But Saloon winning again?

Coal Tower is called one of the most balanced Maps if not THE most balanced Map.
Glenvale is really killersided, unless you are stupid enough to chase someone in the Saloon.
And Ormond is not even that bad anymore, there are Maps which are way more survivor-sided in the game.
Really hope we don’t have to see Ormond more, that map is dreadfully unbalanced.
People really be calling Dead Dawg killer sided when you have a powerful main building, and other structures across the street from saloon with good windows/pallets? Smh. It’s one of the most balanced and well designed maps in the game.
Dead Dawg is Killer-sided but I still despise that ######### map. Perhaps the worst design in all of DBD. "Oh let's add 50 breakable walls to every structure that until they are broken, make it unplayable." "also, add a god loop in main but make the rest of the map completely dead because ######### em ig"
