Useless map
Shelter Wood, Wrecker's yard and rotten field should be removed from the game
Those are just maps with no main building in it
(the big tree of shelter wood doesn't count. it should be a landmark like the cow tree in the Thompson Farm)

I like the maps that don't have big ass buildings that do all the work for you. You actually have to try and mindgame and chain tiles together instead of running around the same thing for a minute straight. It's kinda fun actually.
Why does a map need a main building?
Wreckers Yard is a fine map. Not too big but still a good amount of pallets. Shelter Woods needs to be reworked (shrink in size and more pallets). Same goes for Rotten Fields. It's too big and the midmap is a huge deadzone. Shrink it in size and remove some of the pallets. There are simply way worse maps in the game that actually have a main building (Garden of Joy, Fractured Cowshed and Mothers Dwelling come to mind). Thankfully Eyrie of Crows now is a decent map for both sides

Just to have a different layout. I do admit not having a main building does make the map less memorable though
Wreckers Yard? Really? You mean one of the most balanced maps in the game should be removed? And we shouldn't address maps like Garden, Cowshed, and Mother's Dwelling, because those are fine?
Balanced? Shack is in the middle. You always get in the basement if the killer wants to

Shelter Woods could use some changes, but Wreckers Yard is one of the best maps in the game.

A map needs a main building to be interesting
Shelter Woods is boring because it is large and doesn’t have very many pallets. The giant tree in the center adds nothing to gameplay and I wish it was a small treehouse or something. Nothing super strong (or even that big), but at least SOMETHING to give Balanced Landing value. Add a couple more pallets and trim down the size of the map a little bit too.
Wreckers Yard already has plenty of tiles and resources for survivors to work with and the shack already kinda acts as its central landmark, along with a bus and a crane loop. It doesn’t need an additional building on top of that.
Removing things is never the answer.
