Insidious perk

Either change the way the perk works or get rid of it. The game punishes campers and that perk is used for camping.

  • It's not just used for camping. It can also be used to defend nearly repaired generators after damaging them.

It’s still useless because you have to stay still for it to work

  • How many people go: "wow, what an interesting and fun perk Insidious is! I so wish more killers would use that,as it was used in such a special way that gave us super intriguing gameplay!"

    ... DS (from killers perspective)

  • Insidious is the one of the few perks that allows a killer with a Terror Radius to truly surprise survivors. It's a horror game; the killer surprising his victims is a pretty standard thing in horror.

Sure, some players use Insidious to camp, but even if you took Insidious away, campers would still camp. An Insidious killer camping the hook is when it becomes really important for survivors on the hook to signal that they're being camped.

Some players use Insidious just to give survivors a little scare. That's a more fun use for it.

Also, without Insidious, there'd be no Insidious Basement Bubba, doing the important work of protecting the basement chest from looters. Then where would the game be?

That but also some killers kit relies on jump scare: Hag, Freddy, Wraith, Ghostface, Spirit, etc.
