I think so. Not counting franchised ones outside of the actual game.
Nope, she is the first Killer that actual talks in game. I'm happy about that but her voice seems a bit dull.
Thats cause old people are dull
but I thought Killers never spoke? That's why I was like woah!
I translated what she said "teabbag me now i'm gonna choke you"!
I'm pretty sure Myers is the first killer in DBD to speak. *Speaking Intensifies!* 😉
Depends. If you don't count the grunts, humming, sighs and screams/laughter then I believe she is the first to speak full words.
Survivors can only speak at the campfire, I think.
Killers can always speak but most choose not to. The Plague is simply the first in the game who likes to talk apparently
Interesting how they said they wouldn't add voices or dialogue in the game 'cause it'd break immersion or something like that. Whatever language or gibberish she's speaking sounds pretty damn rad.
This gives me hope for a Candyman killer when he chants "Be my victim".
She's not speaking, she's "Aggressively whispering"
Freddy likes to talk sh*t in the movies and the remake our Freddy is based on likes to talk, I wish he could've had a few lines in game. Missed opportunity I guess
I agree.
"DINNER TIME B_TCH"
You know what I just realized???
She sounds like shes chanting the same stuff from Bayonetta
The way she speaks during a mori... it sounds exactly like Daenerys Targaryen. But at least she looks better than Dragon #########.
Same with Bayonetta, it almost exactly sounds like Cereza when she chants to summon Entity's from inferno.
Literally, youtube "Bayonetta English Summons" and compare her to The Plague's chant during her mori...#########
In reality she does real Satanic chants in whispers when using corrupted purge for yourself over and over, plus and also in the mori for the survs too
That chants come kind of parasites to your souls in rl, DBD knows that since they follow the satanic illuminati agenda. GG to close the year!
That's the reason ain't buying her
"You are crazy!" in 3, 2, 1....
You are crazy
Expected answer, but I didnt invent such theories. Various serious researchers support that in Youtube channels.
Any not official news are "conspiracies" from crazy ppl.
We must consult either [Nice Word]hub or Reddit for a translation. Possibly Steam.
im ginger, doesn't apply
if i remember correctly the devs said in one of their streams, that the killers could speak, but decide against it, as it would serve no purpose.
since this killer is very religious, it only makes sense for her to say a prayer before acting...
This killer is in reality a satanic sorcerer in disguise as the plague, meant to deliver the satanic chants to eat your souls in rl
A dev stream or two ago they said they didn't have anyone, survivor or killer, speak in order to make the game feel more lonely.
so it's weird to see them backtrack on more then one thing they have said on more then one occasion. Maybe this killer marks kind of a turning point for the company. They might be looking at things in different ways.
But if you look at what they did to ranking you can see they still favor survivor, and insist on keeping it easy for them.
If you'd still like to have any credibility whatsoever after this, you better take off your tin hat
Might be playing Devil's advocate, but I'd say speech that is unintelligible to us (due to being ancient and potentially gibberish anyways) could be excused from that statement. At least for Killers.
Sure it is a real ancient language (Sanskrit? Sumerian?) sentences to summon the parasites, but we can't prove it
Totally agreed. Freddy has some of the best campiest taunts ever. Freddy rework should include some really cheesy 80s puns about murdering survivors.
If it's not gibberish, it would be Sumerian (which I doubt as I don't believe that the voice actress learnt Sumerian, a language we don't know the pronunciation of, just for this).
And seriously, stop making yourself look like a fool with that conspiracy theory of yours. It's sad.
If you learn a bit about satanic Illuminati symbolism you would know the "duality" is key as the narrative girl says in 1:21
https://youtu.be/H3cbvR5WVXk
Her role is to create all the psychomagic simbolism and rituals in game to collect our souls in rl, nothing is coincidence
Too bad the Crotus Prenn Asylum is burnt down. Should I ask Dr Carter for a therapy session instead? Léry's still open for business.
Or you can hand him over to the Legion. A good run might do him him goo- Oh wait he dcs against Legion. Well, to Carter it is.
Don't worry, Carter is a qualified medical professional. Probably.
The high amount questionability of his profession is quite.... Shocking...
Okay, I'm sorry I'll head to the basement now.
I don't even know how to respond to this... even DocOc did not take it seriously.
@BACKSTABBER you do realize that the Plague in her lore is older than christianity right?
I would not count guys like Mark Dice among serious researchers but whatever.
(This joke was on McLean's stream)
The game is in year 3. That's when most toddlers learn to talk.
I don't think it has anything connected to the illuminati the language she is speaking is either the akkadian language (which is close to hebrew and arabic) so maybe it is some ancient form of arabic because it definitely isn't gibberish.
Also i heard the developers saying that it is the sumerian language
https://youtu.be/H3cbvR5WVXk?t=302 here you can see sumerian language on her display
it'd be kinda cool to see survivors have short conversations at the campfire, sort of like pre-game overwatch
the developers have said before that the characters all have diverse relationships, some friendships, rivalries, romance, etc. i know i'm not the only one that would like to see the game expand on character dynamics to some extent
