PLEASE! Bring back the 2018 MAPS
This map survey is the perfect time to bring back forgotten memories. Please, before any changes, bring us back to Dead by Daylight. The sounds, the darkness, the shadows, the lights, the noises, the fog, the feeling of being in a generator and hearing the whisper of a bird nearby, of an owl. Bring back the ambiance of the 2018 maps, the moonlight. Use your current tools to create stormy, rainy, windy atmospheres, sounds, noises; we need to feel the fear of the map. Today, everything is so still, clean, emotionless, colorful, and over-filtered. Please bring back the nostalgic feeling of the 2018 maps and evolve it.

The atmosphere, the fog, and the lighting.. Really missing the old versions of the maps, and how they used to be back in the day.

I understand your nostalgia but It's quite clear why these things were changed. It creates nuance around a maps strength depending on luck, perks and players playing around stealth. While the game has taken a hard chase oriented turn driven by both sides.
Although the atmosphere and feel of the game was probably better and I'm not sure why cold wind(image number 7) got lit up to high noon.
even though i started playing DBD in 2023 when Alien was coming out i always thought a Realm like Coldwind should not be bright and have the sun out and after finding out it was darker before a update i was like wow it looks way better this way.
ngl this game looks worse nowadays, hell even the characters at times like whats wrong with the hair in this game lol.
I do wish the lighting was dimmed down and the maps felt more eerie. Coldwind isn’t really spooky at all. I think bringing back the moon offering would be a fun suggestion.
The Swamp maps are also the only realms not to receive a graphical update since launch, they need to update the visuals

idd like maps to be more dark, especially coldwind as much as alot of guys. But the Old Old maps were too dark.
I really don’t think most people realize just how powerful some of the current killers would be on the old maps.
Did everyone forget how easy it was for Nurse to blink at checkspots, back when the object clutter was severely limited?
Did everyone forget how easy it was for Huntress to long range hatchet survivors, when the object clutter was severely limited?
Did everyone forget that maps used to have so many huge dead zones, that Blight had to be careful to which direction he rushed, because he might not find another object to bounce off of before his rush times out?
I would be in favor of it, as I particularly dislike how several modern maps are set during the daytime. That is by far my greatest issue with them.
Man those pictures are so nostalgic, the whole vibe of the game was so different back then but even if you brought back the dark maps the way people interact with the game has changed.
People would just crank brightness up to max or use reshade even more, forced on by a focus on fast paced looping not slow paced hiding.
I just want old lighting and atmosphere back.
Some of the old maps were disasters, but visually, they were top-notch.
MacMillan, Coldwind, Haddonfield, all of these were active downgrades.

i miss scary, dark maps. nighttime, fog. come on! this is a horror game!
