Survivors get more information while Killers get nothing

First the Survivor HUD information and now the heartbeat for hearing impaired players. Where are the FoV changes for killers? Why are killers getting left in the dust?

  • The visual terror radius for hearing impaired players is not new information and getting upset that people with disabilities are getting updates so they can have the same information as someone without a disability is weird.

  • Man, you guys are really trying to turn everything into an us vs. them, eh?

The visual Terror Radius is only for hearing impared players and does not grant any more information to anyone else. You will not need it when your hearing is fine and you will not get any benefit when you enable it in the settings either.

  • I'd like to see hook states as killer. FOV slider too, but I fear that will never happen.

I'd also like to get a visual terror radius so hearing impaired players aren't entirely reliant on Spine Chill to be able to play the game somewhat normally.

What saddens me is that you are missing the point. Survivors getting attention but killers aren't getting any changes to improve their quality of gameplay. Why aren't both getting the same treatment?

    Exactly this. Where is it?

  • In the mean time they should modify Shadowborn like they did Spine Chill.

The devs don't have to update both sides equally. Not to mention this visual heartbeat already exists in dbd mobile.

If you have ideas for killer accessibility features, leave feedback on the the feedback & suggestions forums with what accessibility features you want to see.

  • Jesus Christ.

It's an ACCESSIBILITY feature. It's not an us vs them, the devs hate Killers.

It's about helping people with legitimate disabilities be able to enjoy the game.

Reminds me of people who were against adding colorblind settings.

Did you have this same energy when they added the colorblind mode to make scratch marks easier for killers to see?

  • Are we seriously trying to us vs them an accessibility feature? Are people really that far gone?

  • As pointed out by others already, this is an accessibility feature and it behaves in the same way as the normal heartbeat does, it does not provide more information to the Survivor side as you stated.

If you want to suggest accessibility features to add to the Killer side or just to the game in general, you are welcome to use our Suggestions section:
