dredge loses his tell when in nightfall
just had a dredge insta teleport to a locker following me... his wand was not up. is this a mechanic
EDIT: i mean does he just not show you? he raises his hand thingys when using his ability without nightfall but does he not do it during nightfall
Comments
His teleport is substantially quicker, yes. If the locker is close to where he is, it can be virtually instant, yes.
His teleport is much quicker in nightfall. It’s the main use of nightfall from my experience
but he didnt have a sign... this killer broke locks instantly too. i heard him teleport into a locker in shack and so i instantly jumped the window and he instantly hit me, no time to break lock. maybe nightfall makes locking lockers not work, but he wasnt in nightfall either of the 2 times and when he teleported it nightfall he wasnt raising his hands or whatever they are
There is an add-on that makes breaking the locks from inside the locker very fast. If it actually was straight-up instant, that locker was either not locked, or it was indeed cheats.
yeah... pc player and... no add on for that, he was using destroyed pillow and the add on to reveal auras of survivors locking lockers.
Probably bad lag then
There is an add (Boat Key) on that breaks all active locks instantly when the last gen is powered. Not sure if that applies here, but a possible explanation.
nope that add on was not in play, although that sounds very unique
how is it lag if he never got bad hits? he did seem abnormally fast at some points but maybe thats just me and when in nightfall he never charged his ability he would just teleport and he never had to break locks from the inside
For all locks breaking he might have been using the boat key adddon; it increases tp speed by 25% when not in nightfall and breaks all locked lockers when the final gen is powered. Nightfall does not change any of the dredge's animations. He still raises his hand inn the same manner as usual. He tps tremendously faster in nightfall vs usual though.
There is also an addon that brakes locks while in Nightfall mode, iirc. Or am I confusing it with the "slam all lockers in reach open" addon?
he was using destroyed pillow which was something else and the one that reveals auras
