Can you do the event like the winter event, mean if you died in survivor you still have the mask

When you died for this event you didn't get the mask and it's unfair, so a lot of people play killer because they doesn't want loose the mask

    I dont know why you have to escape to get the mask. just gives people the opportunity to make the event as miserable as possible

    If I understood it correctly, you do not neet to actually escape to unlock the mask, you just need to stay alive until one of the gates is opened.

    Really? I didn't unlock anything earlier when I grabbed an invitation but died.

    Yo, got one and died.

    Uff, i also thought they make it again that you don´t need to escape.

    I switched to killer - just collect it and you are fine.

    Everyone can do that as you don´t need to know killer - you just run around and search for the invitation.

    Still. They should just give it to you regardless of the outcome since that is how it's on killer side.

    But then there are going to be people who collect it and then instantly go to the Killer and suicide on hook, which utterly ruins the game for everyone in their lobby.

    As much as it sucks that it is this way, if we want to blame someone its those kind of people.

    You don't need to escape, you just need to live until EGC starts.

    Good point but they can also hide until everyone else dies and egc starts.

    Still, first option is definitely faster and would probably be abused a lot. You are right.

    They should do what they did for winter/lunar new year where you got the reward no matter what. It feels pretty bad to not get it when you die towards the end because the doors aren't open yet or it's as the last gen pops. It really makes me not want to keep playing once I get the cosmetics because it's just put such a sour mood on the event.

    Ok but it's so hard with the MMR too high, you can try and after you can told us how many mask did you unlock on survivor against how many you unlock in killer, thank you very much
