The comparison between the September's Developer Update to the current is really disappointing

Just look at the September's Developer Update and the current one. The previous one had tons of Killer changes which changed not only their power, but also full add-on reworks, and most of them were pretty good and decent in my honest opinion.

There are a few good changes listed in this current Developer update, even tho most of them miss the actuall issue of the Add-on / Perk. For example buffing the Killer aura duration of Buckle Up, which buffs the Perk, but doesn't make it useful in any way so it's like nothing happened.

Then there are the nerfs no one asked for, like for example reducing the effects of some pretty decent add-ons the Twins have or nerfing the movement speed bonus for zombies that one of the add-ons grants.

I'm really disappointed for these balance changes if this is all we get. What happened since the last Developer Update?

  • Regarding Nemesis, note that they significantly boosted the zombie speed in the red add-on

    • Shattered S.T.A.R.S Badge: Increases zombie movement speed by 150% for 60 seconds (was 100% for 60 seconds)

  • We stated then that the reason such a big patch was done was that we had the extra bandwidth to be able to do things, we did say this isn't something that will always happen and some patches will have more content than others. We try to do as much as possible within our timeframes and other constraints.

That's cool and all, but I think other add-ons didn't deserved to be nerfed, because one time-limited add-on got buffed.

  • Agreed, I was expecting something more.

Especially disappointing knowing this means another 6 months will go by and nothing has been done about the balancing issues on our two newest maps

All the changes look good, tho. Some new perks made more viable is always great.

Of course I wasn't expecting something so huge like the last patch, I was just expecting at least something to be happy about.

Why do you protect them so much? It's not your job anyway, we expressed that we don't like the current state of some features in the game and we still get ignored. The current state of the game for killers and solo players is unplayable and changing some underwhelming perks will not change it.

I think, at least for me, it's more there's just nothing exciting in there. Making under used perks better is always a good thing. Unfortunately none of the changes made me want to pick up any of them.

  • Also @MandyTalk off of the topic. May I ask why you guys not permanent banning players that are using death threaths against other players and their families? I supported a ticket with a proof with screenshot in chat, where player in different language said that he hopes that I'll die in censored word like my mother. The person from customer support called Robert said he will handle that but he was still not banned. How is that allowed?

That's just normal 'smack talk' and the 'word toxic has no meaning' anymore because it's used with petty stuff like that. BHVR doesn't care if there's no low-effort fix.

  • This mid chapter should have been skipped. Would save some dignity and respect to bhvr. Thank you bhvr for dedicating time and effort to things that wont have any impact on the current state of the game

You jusify death wishes and death threats with smack talk? So what, everyone can now death wish everyone without any punish? This is what you wanted to say?

I don't justify it. BHVR did when they responded to a topic about toxicity by saying that it's just normal in 'online multiplayer games'. It's clear that they don't want to bother putting any more effort in then they have with their pathetic 'filter'. That's why they come up with such blockheaded excuses for toxicity.

It is not normal, everyone has a bad day, but wishing someone death is way too much. You can't justify something like this.

I don't believe you. I sincerely think this is a lie, this update? This update is nothing. You can always do more, at the very least change the numbers on more perks. You're telling me it takes effort to say, buff Brutal from 20% to 30%? Fire Up? Any other mediocre perk?

I see no changes to cheaters, no changes to DDOS, and questionable decisions that frankly no one asked for.

I don't know who are the ones who decides how much gets changed, but they are not cutting it. THAT is the truth.
