So can killers ever curse totems?
I know Mikaela is bringing the ability to bless totems but she can bless hex totems? So why can't the killer choose a better place for the hex and curse one? That sounds a lot more handy than what we have now, random spots that are easy to spot and are sometimes right next to the survivors.

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a killer that wants to take the first ~30 seconds of a match off to plant a hex.
They need to make pre game collapse so killers had 1min to set up their totems or traps or whatever else.
