How about a matchmaking system...
That teams are determined by hours played and not the actual rank of either killer or survivors.(0-500 hours,500-1000 etc)
Rank is meaningless as of now so what do u think?

Didn't higher rank = longer playtime though?
I've played a lot of matchmade games, and if there is one thing I learned from all of them it's that games/hours played is no WHERE CLOSE to a decent barometer of skill.
Yes u could, but as of right now as solo i have teammates with something like 100 hours(yes i know smurf accounts,no,still terrible)
And this is not cs go or whatever,a super casual with 2k hours should at least know basic gameplay, the maps layout etc.
What do u mean by that?i get teams constantly with 100 hours at red ranks.Personally i hit r1 as killer back in 2019 in less than 2 weeks.
Fair point. But I'm still hesitant on this idea.
Time playing the game is not equivalent to skill. This would just screw over players who never get particularly good and only play casually, because their ability to get games with people their skill level would dwindle as they get placed with better and better players.
