There should be more exhaustion addonds

They completely level the playing field because they negate the dead hard meta simple as that more exhaustion addons the more the meta will change

  • I’d rather they change dead hard instead of adding a brainless way to counter a brainless perk

  • There is a Perk which gives Exhaustion for 5 seconds. Why should there be any Add Ons that cause Exhaustion? Add Ons should be less impactful than Perks.

Glad they are finally getting rid of those outdated Add Ons.

It counters any perks that cause it sure adrenaline would heal you if your downed no speed boost wasted perk no lithe what’s the one that gives a boost on drops not any more in essence it negates a lot of perks survivors rely on in a chase exhaustion addons are anti chase extension addons

It’s not necessary when most killer powers already cut chases short

  • I fully agree, exhaustion add ons have actually made chases fair and interesting. One thing you're not allowed to touch in this game though is exhaustion perks, survivors REALLY hate it. Clowns exhaustion bottles used to cause disconnects. These people feel so entitled to their third chance tap E to outplay nonsense.

because 5s of exhaustion sucks. More like give survivors 99% sprint burst perk. SHould be at least 20s to make sure it won't work in a chase

  • I'm actually not against Exhaustion-inflicting add-ons, but none of the ones that previously did or still do exist should last for nearly as long as they do.

I think a green (or rarer) add-on that would allow the killer to inflict up to 5 seconds of Exhaustion maximum would probably be fine. A decent survivor has the chance to recover from this in a chase. However, Clown's old Solvent Jug (30 seconds) and Huntress's Toxin/Venom (30 & 90 seconds) were overkill.

Shows the good from the bad though if your not reliant on them or can lose the killer for 2mins

Imagine if survivors had addons that denied the killer to gain STBFL stacks, or that negated Enduring, or made you break 8 pallets before using Spirit Fury. That's how exhaustion addons feel.

Strongest killer perks are hex ones. And survivors can literally turn it off. Strongest survivor perks are exhaustion perks and they have no downside to use at all

I agree that exhaustion addons are outdated and need to be removed, but Mindbreaker is actually a pretty bad anti exhaustion perk.

I would love to see a better, more consistent anti exhaustion perk because the only 2 we currently have are pretty underwhelming honestly

  • If they wanna add exhaustion add-ons they should work like Demo's where it goes away after a certain amount of time without the need to stop running.

For example: while you're intoxicated by Clown's bottles, you are exhausted. Or Huntress hatchets cause exhaustion and the effect wears off after 10 seconds.

The survivors would just abuse a pallet loop until it were off and dead hard it it’s balanced when they don’t go down automatically and it’s a perk not a addon that causes that

  • Translation: there should be more things that give me easy wins

How do they do not have downsides?

Dead Hard - useless against instadown killers. Most maps have been nerfed to a point where even DH for distance isn't as strong as it used to be.

Lithe - good, but sometimes it forces you to run away from safe loops like shack.

Balance Landing - worthless on most map structures.

Sprint Burst - requires extreme exhaustion management to get good value of.

    Adrenaline - 1 time use.

Smash Hit and Head On - literally meme perks.

These perks don't even compare what Ruin regressing multiple gens can do.

Downside is when you have risk of your perk to not work at all, not when you just have simple conditions for them to work

Idk how that would make survivors abuse a pallet loop? Are you new to killer by any chance? And if they recover from exhaustion before you could down them that's the point. You failed to make use of your add-on so they still got to use their exhaustion perk. It shouldn't just permanently remove the ability to use an exhaustion perk in a chase. It's how it used to work before when exhaustion would decrease whole running

These add-ons need updating and they shouldn't permanently disable exhaustion in a chase, it's so brain-dead.

Then what killer perks besides hexes have downsides? Pop, Corrupt, BBQ, Infectious, Whispers, etc are all among the strongest killer perks and you don't have the risk of them not working.

They're not even close to hex perks. Image infinite ruin or devour

  • Exhaustion perks are fine. Even if they weren't addons are a really bad way of balancing the game. You should fix the root of the problem not add more boring addons.

You can deny spirit enduring by dropping the pallet early

Your point being? You can also deny Dead Hard just using exposed perks or instadown killers.

Yea but not all chases will start with the survivor exposed/uninjured so more often than not they can use dead hard

  • The problem with exhaustion addons is that powers that already good in chase don't need them and for non-chase powers there's generally better options to pick from.

I would like to see more exhaustion inflicting perks over addons.

    Do they now?

  • Yes the majority of killers have a power to cut chases short

Only ones who have to chase as an m1 killer are Ghostface, pig, Myers and wraith. Who are all stealth killers who aren’t meant to chase survivors for an extended period of time
