Create your own addon out of bad ones.
You too hate that the killer you play isn't michael myers and addons they have don't give much gameplay variability? Create your own dream versions of addons for different killers.
For example:
Ghostface, very rare, Driver's license:
- Being revealed no longer disrupts Night Shroud
- If survivor reveals you, all stalking progress is set to zero on that survivor
- Considerably increases Reveal speed to 0.1 second.
An addon that makes Ghostface gameplay less punishing at cost of getting rid of "99in" tactic which Ghostface usually benefits on in stalking strategy, allowing to focus more on ambushes.
Doctor, rare, scrapped tape:
- Shock therapy special ability changes from a cone to a circle surrounding Doctor in 7 meter radius
An addon that changes the way of using shock therapy into a miniature Static blast that allows to aoe survivors and care less about aiming.

wait so you get revealed non stop because you never actually get revealed? or does the revealing only work when ghostface has actually build up a bit of stalk?
Survivor looks at you - you get revealed and that survivor loses stalk progress, while ghostface keeps night shroud.
so only the survivors who have some stalk build up can "reveal" ghostface to then lose it and that will then also only be for themselves?

What annoys me about the meme add-ons is that there are actually some meme add-ons that can create brand new playtyles like Scratched Mirror Myers or body-blocker Hag. So here are my ideas
Padded Jaws
Gain 100% more bloodpoints from trapping survivors
Bear Traps do not inflict damage to survivors
The Trapper cannot trigger his own bear traps
Being able to walk over your own traps can theoretically give new mindgames to against survivors at the cost of damaging them. Basically we get our own body-blocker Trapper.
The "Beast" Soot
Gain 100% more bloodpoints from actions in the deviousness category
The Wraith's terror radius is no longer suppressed while cloaking
Increase The Wraith's terror radius by 30 meters
A person in the forums once said that if you have a terror radius all the time, you technically don't have a terror radius. That's what I'm going with here.

Fuming Mixtape: Any survivors suffering from deep wounds will also suffer from the hindered status effect.
Frank's mixtape: remove the sound of ending frenzy
Stab wound study: gain 10% extra movement speed in frenzy for every survivor with deep wounds
Hellshire Iron: Chain has infinite range, Tremendously increases charges required to break the chain, Tremendously increases reeling speed. Increases reload speed by 0.25 seconds.
Obsideon Goblet: Survivors hit by your basic attack are put into the dying state, Reduced movement speed to 4.2 M/S, Can no longer do punishment of the damed.
Iridescent family crest: The Oni makes no noise when activating blood fury and while in the mode. Gain the undetectable status effect while demon dashing.

Iridescent Muffler (previously the Iridescent Coin) - thx for the name suggestion @GoodBoyKaru

I disagree wholeheartedly. Old Legion takes the issues that Spirit currently suffers from on the survivors side and amplifies them to a thousand.
I would say that it's more like an inspire the devs thread. Taking the original idea behind a bad add-on and providing more ideas to make it work better isn't exactly shaming, in my opinion.

Amanda's Secret: Survivors with a Reverse Bear Trap suffer from the Oblivious Status Effect
Rule Set No. 2: The Pig sees a Survivors aura when they interact with the Jigsaw Box that will unlock their Reverse Bear Trap for 4 seconds.
Amanda's Letter: Moderately decreases crouch and uncrouch time. Considerably increases Ambush charge activation. Considerably decreases Ambush missed attack cooldown. Slightly decreases Ambush dash speed.
I love this thread and all the addon ideas (liked the padded jaws the most. It is great @Saltjar34)

The “silance” mud and white
moderately/considerably Increase the duration of being see-through (claoked) while unclaoking
moderately/considerably increase transition to see-through while claoking
Slightly increase the time to unclaok
Ring the bell once
This could help when using the surprise attack and to mind game see through loop (killer and survivor can see each other) and it could replace the “blink” addon.

Pig's Face Mask Add-on now blinds survivors to Jigsaw boxes.
Combine Rule set 2 with crate of gears to get the most toxic build in the game.
Second most toxic build would be amanda's letter + last wish.
Both include bodyblocking a box.
I actually came up with that idea but I put it on the seal of metatron instead of the Goblet.
I had another idea for a addon
Rules set no.2: all 4 survivors start the Trial with a reverse bear trap on there head, can’t interact with Jigsaw boxes until the trap is activated. Death timer is reduced to 1:30 seconds from 2:30 seconds. The pig has no reverse bear traps
