Not enough moderation on the forums.

I've seen like 4 extremely obvious bait posts stay up and mods refuse to commit any action to them.

Yet the mods here decide to arbitrarily move good posts to feedback to kill the good posts.

These forums need better mods or better moderation directives. Idk which.

Idk why your giving a random definition of a word, but these are the types of nonsensical comments (or posts) that go unnoticed.

I said that cause you do realize that half your posts were all bait posts that’s the irony

Nice, using an ad hominem to try and discredit my argument. Unfortunately for you, none of my posts are bait posts.

  • Probably why they had Mod Applications this month. It's also voluntary stuff, it's not like they get paid to sit on the forums and watch people be idiots.

As an Ex-Mod on another forum for 2 years I can say it's not all that exciting work and is normally just moving threads around more then anything. Even more so if no one reports the bait stuff as you can't be expected to glance over every single comment in every single thread.

I find it funny how you use that same sentence every time someone tells you your trolling.

  • Heavy moderation kills a community. One ban here. One ban there. Where did everyone go?

Be happy there are people willing to bait you. They're not infinite in supply.

I certainly wouldn’t do it. All the negative, disrespectful stuff here would give me burnout.

  • Feedback that gets moved to the correct section is only "killed" (read: doesn't get many replies from forumgoers, even though it gets noticed by the devs) because people don't seem to realize that General Discussions is only one category and not the whole forum.

As for what you perceive to be bait, assuming you reported it (which is necessary in the first place since the mods are not omniscient), maybe the mods just disagree with you on whether or not they're "obvious bait posts". Ultimately, mods take action based on what they perceive, not what you perceive, otherwise it'd be like making everyone a mod.

Thank you for your feedback :)

If you see a thread that you think is bait, please go ahead and report it - then we can take a look at it.

Threads are moved to the Feedback & Suggestions sub forum, because they are exactly that - feedback or suggestions.
