that would encourage abuse of the report system in the hopes somebody that wasn't cheating would turn out by sheer luck to actually have been cheating in some way and that your revenge or spite report luckily nabbed you a nifty little cosmetic with no practical use whatsoever.
Then make a condition: % accuracy of reports. If your accuracy of correct reports it above let's say 90% then you get it
if they file 100 reports and 1 or 2 of them pan out they should get the platinum ban hammer trinket, which locks them out of playing for a week. the problem is myspace, bebo, facebook twitter and youtube and the like did. a lot of folks these days are wired for instant gratification, have much shorter attention spans, and are extremely narcissistic and lacking in empathy especially because of the reinforcement from social media as they seek the thumbs up and wish to avoid censorship or criticism. A lot of older people are honestly becoming as warped themselves withs ome self-aware, and others just as clueless about how they've changed. The short attention span and instant gratification I've reflected back on and noticed it's become a thing for myself some point over the past ten years or so even. I'm pretty sure Idiocracy will one day be considered a documentary, maybe mistaken for one hundreds of years down the road.
