Why do these offerings exist?

I'm adressing the offerings which give you 50/75/100% more bloodpoints in a specific BP category.

1- How do these even reach green rarity?

The MAXIMUM you get out of them if you use the rare (green rarity) version, and that's if you play really well is just 8,000 bloodpoints. And everyone knows it's very difficult to achieve in certain categories such as the survival category and the Brutality category.

You literally spend 5,000 bloodpoints, so you can get an average of 5500 bloodpoints if you're a good survivor. But let's just say 8,000 this time. You're getting a maximum of 3,000 BP profit, what can that buy you? An instructions addon for your toolbox?

2- The lower tier category offerings

Why do these exist in the first place? You get 50% more BP in a category, so you spend 3k, and get 4k at maximum.

It's like you're bound to lose bloodpoints with them and not gain, I rarely see them being used for BP farming purposes and they only act as filler items in the bloodwebs. Compared to a profit of max 28,000 BP from puddings and party streamers, these categorized BP offerings are just b‎ullshit

What can be done?

•The change i prefer: you can just remove them really everyone has a ton lying around in their inventories because in my opinion the devs shoved them in to act as filler items, and they're arguably the most significant factor which increases the grind, perhaps in the same place as perk tiers.

After removal, you can just make the following offerings which apply to all BP categories

25% All players, 50% all players, 75% all players

50% all survivors, 75% all survivors, 100% all survivors

50% killer, 75% killer

• OR Make the common rarity category BP offering give 100%, remove the uncommon and rare offerings, at this point you can get 5k profit at max and most importantly they won't be making you lose BP instead of gaining.

Let me know which one you agree with or if I'm delusional and messed up calculations.

Comments

  • They exist to keep the grind going (I'm being facetious).

    Couldn't agree more.

  • I've never even cared to think about this, and now I hate them.

Literally just to keep the grind going, and as you said filler spots.

    Don't remove them, buff them.

    Lowest starting at 100%.

This would be just for the SINGLE category bonus offerings, to make them more worth it.

    ^ this.

Brown 100% Bonus BPs, yellow 150%, green 200%. A Maximum of 16k Bonus BPs would not be too strong, but it would take way less BPs to get the value out of it.

    Currently:

brown-->At least 6k BPs to get the value back, with maximum its a Bonus of 1000 BPs.

yellow-->At least ~5300 BPs to get the value back, with maximum it is a Bonus of 2000 BPs.

green-->At least 5000 BPs to get the value back, with maximum it is a Bonus of 3000 BPs.

So only with those values the BPs gained are as much as the BPs spend, and the profit when the category is maxed is really bad.

    If we double the values:

brown-->At least 3k BPs to get the value back, with maximum the Bonus will be 5000 BPs.

Yellow-->At least ~2600 BPs to get the value back, maximum the Bonus would be 8000 BPs.

Green-->At least 2500 BPs to get the value back, maximum the Bonus would be 11000 BPs.

So it would not be too crazy, but actually worth to get and to use. Currently the BP Offerings are only taken because you have to take them to finish the Bloodweb (except for Cakes, Puddings, Envelopes and BPS of course...)

  • Thanks for doing the math.. Those Rare Offerings has been nothing but a bloodpoint sick, it's not even worth running them because of how much they cost :/

  • This has been an issue for so long now. Changes need to happen ASAP.

I must admit that actually sounds like a better idea, hoping to seem them implement it soon
