Can all totems be hidden like this?

This is how totems should be, so they aren't destroyed in the first 30 seconds

Since when can DoomGuy speak
But...you can hear the totem as you pass by. it's actually not even that good of a location. I guess most people just have horrible audio setups
If you need perks to help you chase survivors you probably suck at chasing. Just saying
If you need perks to not get slugged or farmed, you probably suck at surviving. Just saying
My comment was sarcasm. Chase perks are fine and so are perks that help loop
but dead hard, this one is too forgiving
Yes, make NOED even more powerful. Smart. You're an actual genius. God why hasn't Behavior hired you?!
I wonder myself
I just think Devour Hope and other totems that don't do anything at the start of the match should either show up as dull totems or be completely invisible until they do something. Ruin doesn't show up until it regresses at least 1 gen, devour hope/huntress's lullaby is invisible until you get a stack, etc. Nothing is worse than not getting to use your perk because it got destroyed at the beginning of the match.
Boom, totem counters. You're welcome.
Totem counter, as in how many totems are left.
Yeah, people underestimate sound for survivors. Totems crackling, stealth killers' breathing, Pig's little "shink" of her knife when she stands up, spirit's footsteps while she's phasing, etc. are all really good information to have while playing.
That's a horrible idea, then NOED would be useless. The only way that could be viable is if it were tied to a perk. Maybe Small Game? That would probably be fine, seeing as small game is meant to get totems anyway.
I don't think so. Nobody will cleanse any totems in solo queue until a totem counter is added. SWF already has this info for free so it would also close the gap between solos and swf a little.
It doesn't have to be a number as well. A map wide sound effect when a totem is cleansed would be enough.
Part of the whole "Just do bones" joke is that it's not hard to find them. Ifyou're complaining about having to do them you just prove yourself to be lazy. If they were properly hidden and required looking instead of just spawning with one in your sight half the time the whole "Just fdo bones" thing would disappear.
Also against certain top tier killers if you waste your time finding and doing totems then you won't even get to the endgame, it's a catch-22.
I found that exact totem once with detective's hunch. I was next to it for like 10-15 seconds and I coudn't see it. It is really well hidden. Bu thing is it is a location you remember. It is good but still you will remember it. I wish there was some randomizer with new location every month so you can't remember them all
