Why Legion is the bigg succ
Its because that they don't get any benefit for having people injured. Look at plag for example. If everyone is injured, you have the possibility of getting super vomit, and you also completely disable MANY great perks and completely disable stealth due to the coughing.
Legion doesnt get anything. once everyone is injured, they dont get more benefits aside from being able to one-shot survivors. But that isnt a real benefit, since ALL killers have that benefit.
Just give legion some sort of bonus for having survivors injured.

TBF, that’s the Plague’s issue as well when no-one cleanses. It’s why the next change for her is to start a match with 1 Pool of Corruption ready.
Well not she can one shot people at range with her super vomit.
well here goes:
Legion can, thanks to frenzy, very easily hit survivors, legion is almost impossible to avoid in frenzy, applying ez bleedout status which survivors MUST adress or risk going down.
That costs them time, if you can get a lot constandly with frenzy, it keeps them busy.
That is where their power lies, but yeah its not for everyone.
I guess play survivor and try to get some matches against a Legion and you will know what makes them strong and weak.
im a survivor main. And i lose to legion because he has sloppy butcher, and thanos, but people still want to self care in the corner >_>
People die to legion because they are dumb. If the legion FF stabs an injured survivor they are in most situations wasting their time, unless they want to find the other healthy survivors.
Legion and Plague have alot in common as far as injuring ppl, but I feel like Legion is able to get those injuries out faster, while also giving survivors something to waste their time on in the form of mending. FF speed+ killer instinct allows Legion to injure the team FAST while Plague more of less is still gonna have to find and puke on ppl separately to get that injury. Not saying Plague is bad or anything, just that the killers DO have differences that alot of ppl dont bring up.
I'll attempt to explain to you why myself, and a few others, do not believe Legion is in a good spot. I'll do this respectfully and civilly, I am not trying to attack you or your belief.
Let's start with his good qualities:
He is super good at getting the first hit, thought it can be a bit difficult on console sometimes.
He is amazing at keeping people injured.
He really cannot be looped in Frenzy.
All of these make Legion a great Killer for low-Purple ranks, where he dominates. That is because of three things, Survivors are not great at looping, they heal every time they get hit and they generally lack game sense.
Onto the bad:
If people do not heal, he loses. Legion thrives on the slowdown from Deep Wounds and having to heal. Good Survivors do not heal if they are just going to be injured again.
He has a 32m TR, because of this, he cannot capitalize on the fact that people will be injured. Having a 32m terror radius gives them plenty of time to run away to a safe loop.
His power has a 4 second black screen stun. This stun is longer and more punishing than Nurse's. There is no reason for it to be so punishing.
He loses the ability to track Survivors when he activates FF. If Legion decides, for some reason, to use FF as a traversal ability like one of the Devs suggested, he loses the ability to see scratchmarks or blood.
Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack causes FF to deplete by half, just why?
One miss will cancel Frenzy. This is especially painful on console, where FF lowers FPS to 5.
Finally, at least 5 of his add-ons are useless. Frank's Mixtape, Stab Wound Study and all the Killer Instinct range add-ons.
You can say hes garbo all ya want, I'm still gonna play him. Been doin pretty well with him since the ruin change and finding him pretty fun to play as.
Exactly, Legion is great vs bad survivors, but doesnt do anything to survivors who are even remotely good.
You can play whoever you want. I play a lot of legion too, and i do quite well too.
But i only do well b/c i just kinda chill at yellow to green ranks where survivors dont loop, and constantly heal vs legion.
Sure! You can play him all you want, I have fun with him. I'm just saying that saying he doesn't need some kind of love is kinda silly.
There are definitely Killer's that need it more tho, looking at you thicc boi Clown.
@ZoneDymo
You finished your mend action before the Legion even can stab a second person. The "extra" time you gain from that is just the time to hit a second person barely. Also having no ability do down survivors can stretch chases even in minutes if the survivor plays well. If the survivor plays bad then every killer is op so that is not a valid arguement. Most of the time you should meet decent survivors and in that case your amazing power is basicly useless.
Also I have to mention that if survivors are smart they will just spread out and you will never have the chance to hit more then one frenzy stab. That completly negate your entire power and you turn into a even worse Killer then you already are.
I've been kinda chillin on ranking up after last reset by getting some practice in on Huntress. I'm not afraid of taking Legion against a team of red ranks though.
Id agree he could use afew tweeks, but hes not anywhere near as unplayable as ppl make him out to be. One of the QoL changes I suggested is probably just a bug according to Almo (cant see gen auras while killer instict is on).
@Pulsar
Also dont forget that the 32m TR makes it especially harder to spread your FF. In the old Legion it made alot of sense this type of gameplay because you can "sneak" up with your 24m TR and your insane movementspeed made it easy to catch up. With the current Legion your 32m TR makes it very hard to reach a survivor because they have plenty of time just running straight and building up alot of distance, most likely your power will run out before you can reach them.
In my opinion giving Legion a secondary "deadly" ability for chases would make Legion alot more fun to play and against and would bring Legion in a way better spot. If you are interested, I made a while ago a own Legion update, maybe you can give me your critique to it, I would appreciate that!

Onto the bad:
"If people do not heal, Legion loses. Legion thrives on the slowdown from Deep Wounds and having to heal. Good Survivors do not heal if they are just going to be injured again."
Legion is a full speed killer, if you dont heal...well thats pretty much the same as being a Tier 3 myers the entire time...that should yield a pretty ez win.
"They have a 32m TR, because of this, they cannot capitalize on the fact that people will be injured. Having a 32m terror radius gives them plenty of time to run away to a safe loop."
Well again, legion is a full speed killer like all of them are, and if you are wounded you are just not in a good situation when they come for you"
"Their power has a 4 second black screen stun. This stun is longer and more punishing than Nurse's. There is no reason for it to be so punishing."
Nurse is a slower then average killer, hence the stun takes less long, If legions stun is reduced its much harder to get away from Legion who just runs up to you in Frenzy and then undoes its power. Also Legion can body block in the time it takes to recover if they are a good player.
"They lose the ability to track Survivors when they activate FF. If Legion decides, for some reason, to use FF as a traversal ability like one of the Devs suggested, he loses the ability to see scratchmarks or blood."
Yep, Ill give you that one, its a bit weird to remove that ability, I dont think Legion would suddenly be OP if that was not the case.
"Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack causes FF to deplete by half, just why?"
Also will give you this one, really odd choice.
"One miss will cancel Frenzy. This is especially painful on console, where FF lowers FPS to 5."
Dont know about consoles but imo its fair, its hard to juke that attack, I dont think its so bad it works the way it does.
"Finally, at least 5 of his add-ons are useless. Frank's Mixtape, Stab Wound Study and all the Killer Instinct range add-ons."
idk, I never run add ons anyway.
Yeah, it's kinda funny how we all just assumed that was a feature. I cannot remember a time where that didn't happen lol
Legion is a 32m TR Killer. Tier III Myers gets looped for years because he has no way to cut chases short. When Survivors hear the TR and are injured, they will book it straight for a loop. It just doesn't help that much.
Legion can bodyblock, sure, but then what? The Survivor Dead Hard's through you, or just runs around you? His stun should go back to three seconds without a black screen, especially because his power isn't lethal.
I think it should be two whiffs. Still punishes bad players, but is more forgiving since console kinda sucks sometimes.
Those add-ons are just useless tbh.
I remember bringing it up in afew places to let him see gen auras, and some people were SO against it... Then like the next day got a response from Almo who was surprised that was a thing. The reply I got was...
"Sounds like a bug if Legion is not seeing gens in Fenzy. I'd recommend posting in the bug forum about this."
I was like, "Wait, he IS supposed to be able to see gens in Frenzy?!"
You people do realise there's multiple ways to play as Legion right? I'm not speaking about builds, i'm talking about the strategies Legion's power allows the player to employ. If survivor's play one way, you match their style; if they play another way, you switch up to match them again. I do think Legion could benefit from add-on changes, since there are a lot of useless ones now - because of the Deep Wound changes implemented.
But yeah, Legion is a killer that really doesn't struggle if people don't heal; I have no idea how you'd even think that. I play Legion at red ranks and when survivors don't heal vs me, they soon realise they just made a terrible mistake. Legion knows where people are, so he knows if they are bulling gens injured, meaning easy prey. Even if you guys call him an M1 killer, it doesn't detract from the point of his power allowing him the tools to keep everyone on their toes and slowed enough on objectives for him to keep up. Legion's a saucy killer; just needs add-on touch ups and they're fine from there.
