Unpopular opinion about spine chill... does this perk needs a change?
i'll explain... since i'm a spin chill gamer, i found this is one of the best perk to absolutely destroy stealth killers..it's stable on my build since i hate stealth killers.. but as i said it completely counters stealth killers.. i also played a nurse game on lery's with monitor and abuse against a full team of spine chill blendettes and there's no way i could find them...i realized how strong this perk is against some killers... so i think that maybe a change should be needed.. i don't know like giving a cooldown, so stealth killers are not completely helpful against spine chill users..

TBF Lery's is about THE WORST map you can possibly play nurse on
To be fair. Any killer would have issues against immersed blendettes on lerys. Also, nurse isn't a stealth killer btw
Spine Chill is fine. It lights up when your being looked at within the set distance. It doesn't directly state where they're looking from, or how far away they are. You could end up running directly into the killer anyway. So, I personally think the perk is fine as is.
I always have Spine Chill for the same reason. I do not like being caught out by those sneaky stealthy killers :P
It really only gives you so much time to react and hide. If you crouch away with Urban you can get behind a wall/tree/rock, but killers can still easily find you if they are looking.
I am not sure what could be done to the perk. It seems pretty balanced to me :)
@gatsby i know but with monitor i get 24 tr, and blink are more than 32, that's the point of that build, since smart survivors try to gain distance before you get to them..against that team it was impossible to even find them
as a ghostface main i know spine chill counters stealth killers and it can be annoying when you try to sneak up on survivors. but, it's not too strong, as mentioned before it doesn't tell from which direction the killer is coming from. so spine chill is fine, and one of the rare actually good survivor perks.
Ehh Spine Chill is a beginner perk
NEVER touch spine chill, it's perfectly balanced. I don't think you know since spine chill beiing meta was early after release so not many people remember but killers used to counterplay spinechill by going backwards so there is solid counterplay and always was.
Stealth killers are only as countered as they allow themselfs to be. If you suspect surviors having SCH then you just start randomly going backwards and you'll catch off survior who though he was 100% safe since his SCH didn't activate.
