I personally run Joey's Season's Killing sweater with the entirely brown basic mask. The combination seems scary to get chased by imo (sorry for bad pic)

So basically what Legion was supposed to be?
This killer is in Propnight and looks super fun.
I agree, I tried to make sure it would've been a fair use of its power and perks; usefull for the killer while being counterable for survivors. I took a lot of inspiration from the way Wraith's power works

The Mimic
Killer idea
The Mimic is a deceiving killer, able to imitate survivors to get close to its victims, then transform back to its original form for a surprise attack.
Its personal perks, Decoy, Monstrous Domain, and Dark Alternation, allow it to trick survivors, forcing them into pressured decisions.
It is all about setting up a plan to disorganize and surprise the survivor team.
Ability:
Press and hold the Power button to transform your appearance into one of the survivors and their health state, including survivors put into the dying state (Stays in first-person viewpoint).
Press and hold it again to transform back to its original appearance, granting extra movement speed for 1 second.
Transforming into a survivor:
- Action takes 2 seconds.
- Cannot move during transformation.
- Can be heard from 20 meters away.
- Removes red stain and terror radius while transformed.
- Reduces Movement speed (Survivor movement speed).
- While transformed the Mimic is unable to attack, but can imitate doing survivor tasks such as cleansing, repairing generators and self-healing (without making progress).
- Can’t be healed if transformed into a survivor with a wounded or dying health state.
Transforming back into original form:
- Action takes 2 seconds
- Movement speed during transforming is reduced: 1.6 m/s
- Can be heard from 4 meters away.
- Post-Transform Speed burst: 1 second.
Perks:
Decoy
When a Generator has no progress you can activate Decoy on the Generator. This makes the Generator look and sound like its progression is 50% repaired. Whenever a Survivor interacts with the Generator, they will scream and become Oblivious, and the Generator will be blocked for 10/15/20 seconds.
- The aura of blocked Generators is highlighted to you in white.
Decoy has a cool-down of 60 seconds.
Monstrous Domain
When hooking a survivor on a Basement Hook their aura is not shown to the other survivors for 15/20/25 seconds.
Dark Alternation
After a survivor uses a fast vault while in chase, Dark Alternation activates:
- Grants the Undetectable status effect for 6/8/10 seconds.
Dark Alternation has a cool-down of 30 seconds.
Lore
Born from a severed Entity limb, The Mimic fails to find its own form and imitates other organisms to survive. Still fueled by pain and suffering, The Mimic uses its transformation skills to get close to its prey. Upon gaining the trust of those around it, it uses the opportunity to transform back into its distorted own form to quickly attack its unsuspecting victims. After killing its prey, it usually copies this person and uses the appearance to find a new target. Never leaving the fog and still bounded by an invisible link to the Entity, it gains extra abilities to lure survivors close. Always putting survivors in a pressured situation where quick decisions are necessary.
-
The Thing would be great if he could mimic a survivor but won't be able to attack until it transforms back. He could come with survivors to a gen, fake doing gens (no progress) change form behind a wall to start his attack. You'll think twice before running to teammates for help.
A little bit like Wraith who can get real close but has a delay before attacking.

I would play a story mode where you're a survivor (not one currently in the game, but you could meet known survivors) and your experience of endless terror and suffering. Treat it like you're reading a story of Lovecraft. Let it be about the attempts to escape the fog, facing killers, relationships with other survivors and having to watch them die every day. When will you lose your sanity? When will it all be too much? And when will you stop caring what cruel things happen to you?
I'm really intrigued by the lore behind The Entity and what it wants. The fact that it takes killers and survivors, puts them in a dimension to feed itself.

I like to torture myself by reading people suggesting buffs/nerfs after playing a character for only 10 games

Will fit? Yes.
Will happen? No.
There is a Friday the 13th game which is similar to DBD. So we're not getting Jason. But all good since I prefer unique killers created by DbD anyway

Too many people who've only played 10 to 20 matches with Legion and say "He needs a rework. He struggles on X map"
Play at least 100 hours with a character before you comment if (s)he needs work or not.

Otz.
He plays a bit scummy sometimes, but he's just genuinely likeable and does a lot of experimentation. I learn a lot watching him, especially his Hag and occasional Demo games. I wish he played Pinhead more.
There was another streamer I used to watch - a British chap - but I've never been able to find him again. He used to play Plague a lot, and do a hilarious sound effect whenever he puked on people.
Did you mean Tru3talent??

If you experience your Hex totem being cleansed very fast I recommend 3 things (which all can be combined)
1. Defend it early. Check if there is anyone around who might have spotted it, if so; be merciless against that survivor. A bit of a tunnel to make sure you hook that person far away should give you a lot of breathing time.
2. get Hex:Undying. Even if your important Hex perk is found easily, it will at least spawn somewhere else. Or they find you Undying which means the important Hex perk stays alive longer.
3. Throw a little Haunting Ground in the mix. That way it is a 50/50 for the survivor if it's worth cleansing. Sometimes you get unlucky and they find the right one but they'll also get more greedy when they see another Hex; which will screw them over.
I hope this helps. It will definitely improve your Hex situation if you try it out.
In the end, just accept the fact that your Hex will be found sooner or later. And if isn't found that's great but don't count on it.
Good luck in your next match!
P.S. So when I, as a Legion main, immediatly find 3 survivors on a gen with Discordance my Ruin should just wait 30 seconds before kicking in? XD

Personally I adore this one. I currently use his new Halloween body + the head and weapon from this skin. It's a great combo.
P.S. his outfit Lord Chloroform is also pretty good

The thing is that a SWF with a designated totem cleanser should not be the rule for what's balanced or not in the game. In fact, SWF by themselves should not be the rule for anything, since communication breaks a lot of perks and mechanics in the match.
But you see, the whole point is to shut down SWF teams. Because at high rank those are the ones you are facing. Ruin + Undying should be an option to choose from if you see that the survivor team are SWF.
And by the things you say I actually feel like you're not a killer main, but actually a survivor main in disguise. If you complain about Ruin + Undying from killer side.. DON'T USE THOSE PERKS TOGETHER THEN. And for the survivor side, though luck that you can win every single game as SWF. If you're facing a good SWF team (which happens a lot if you're a red or even purple rank killer) then the coordination of them is so good and they run loops so well, you NEED ruin + undying otherwise gens will be flying.
Survivor need some 'hard to swallow pills': the game is not unbalanced if you can't win 9/10 matches as SWF. Killers struggle so much more, and complain so much less.

The problem, in my opinion, with the Mori nerf is that if the survivor has had 2 hooks already... you can throw them on a hook for the sacrifice. The mori is completely useless this way. Sure it looks cool but the mori (before nerf) was an effective way to level the playing field a bit versus SWF halfway in the game; making it a 3v1. But at the current state it's just a 3rd hook without the carrying.. sure this way you can dodge a DS or maybe dodge a sneaky flashlight save, but it completely useless now. If you are an average good killer versus a good SWF team, you will probably have someone on their 3rd hook when there is only 1 gen left. You run into more SWF groups than 4 randoms. And then you have the following endgame:
- they rush the gate by distracting/taking hits and escape
- you are forced to tunnel 1 person in order to get 2 sacrifices
- you are forced to pick NOED as one of your perks if you want more than 2 kills
The survivors need to stop complaining about unfair games, such as a killer using a mori, because in every single game the survivors are in an advantage. Especially versus a 4 man SWF with communication, even a very good killer struggle. I can't believe survivors can have perks such as DS, Borrowed Time, Iron Will and Adrenaline but still manage to scream "Killers are unbalanced because they can kill someone after they've hooked the player!!!" and the devs actually listen to that.
But this is just my opinion.

The amazing outfit combo I'm currently using is the Ice-Cold Legacy body + Degraded Lord head & sword. Try it out; it looks amazing!
(Don't have a picture right now sorry)

They should just revert it back to its original effect. Where when in deep wound you have let's say 60 seconds for example till the timer goes down and puts you dying state. The only way to pause timer is to start mending once you are forced to stop mending it continues ticking down. It gives the effect a that has a real consequence but not insanely oppressive since it requires a whole minute of the killers time for you to be effectively downed. It ends up working for both ways. Good survivors can still wastes a killers time with good looping for a whole minute for the team. Where as the killers can get a down or waste survivors time to mend or be put in a risky situation if they pressure correctly.
Exactly because in his current state good survivors simply bully the Legion into a ragequit

That would be returning to Legion 1.0, which literally nobody liked.
Well they have to do SOMETHING. Because his current ability is flat out laughable; you actually are more impactful if you don't use the ability at all, except for maybe brief window/pallet vaults.
A well-coordinated level1 4-man survivor team is also almost impossible to counter as a killer, also most maps favour the survivors. So I kinda don't mind if there is also a killer who is strong against coordinated 4man SWF teams.

I think they may take a quick look at ideas. But please, for the love of God, really think your idea through. Don't just have a certain look of a killer in mind and make up some unbalanced power around him/her. That way they won't take it seriously and will never turn to community ideas again. They won't copy your whole idea, so give them something well crafted so they can use it as a guideline. <3

I have the exact same problem buddy. Not all matches are bad, definitely not, but I bought the game a week ago myself, so I'm trying to get a feel for this game and... some matches you just get absolutely stomped on by a party of 4 pre-made Survivors with an average level of 3. It's just insane. I wish they would've had a fair ranking system which puts people of the same rank together like League of Legends or DOTA or something.
Sadly I read that there simply aren't enough main killers out there which is why low level killers get put in a lobby of high level survivors. Hope they'll figure something out. I mean EVENTUALLY I'll get good enough to take them on but right now it just feels like get bullied
