DEMOGORGON
My ass is he hard, that “intermediate” difficulty rating is bs. If you don’t use your portals correct you loose

Here’s a tip for Any1 who wants to get good quick. Absorb, Learn, Practice and practice with good friends. You have no idea how my content I watched and what tips my friends told me. Also, play with friends in the beginning, it’s MUCH harder but it gives a feeling on what to expect.

Urban Evasion, Iron will, do I need to say much more

I think it's a unique map.
You have strong loops and windows.
I think the basic strategy for survivor is to run towards one of the strong corners of the map (the control room or the big fall). If you get there you can loop the killer a lot and chain structures to the windows that are near this corners in the bottom floor. When you exhaust all of this, your team would be opening the gates.
I think it's a strong map for survivors if all know the strong tiles and where they are. If you don't know anything about the map, as all indoors maps it would be a confusing map with each tile being almost the same to the others.
Strong loops, yes, windows aren’t really that much, but like you mentioned, it’s strong when all survivors know everything, which many don’t know. Like Ik where they can spawn, but it goes back to my point, semi hidden, you dont know until yah get there, which is the same as lerys, but you have other options other than just pallets

I hate the map as a Survivor and a Killer. I actually hate all indoor maps with a passion. I'd rather get cornfields.
The new Silent Hill map has me worried.
I would say not as good as lerys, but certainly better than hawking and game.
its very big, open sight lines, and good pallets/windows in off rooms

I find the map very strong for survivors but then again I like to use windows of opportunity.
Windows is probably the best perk is you’re on the map, if you don’t know the itty bitty nooks and cranies of the map, Which is mostly everyone

I'm seeing very different outcomes for different people here, and I don't think it's skill based, either. I think The Game map is very unbalanced, not sided towards one group particularly, but it can side with a killer or be a hindrance and that is an issue. For example, trapper players get no grass to conceal their traps. But they can also make a single path unusable unless the player has dead hard or the trap is disabled. Doctor players can have a much greater effect with static blast, and paired with the few amount of lockers upstairs, it can be considerably difficult to avoid. It can be a lot harder to get map pressure in with billy, even though the map is far smaller. Also, the stairs seem to be very random, I wouldn't know exactly what spawns them, but trying to find a way upstairs when discordance, BBQ, etc. shows you a point of interest can be extremely frustrating. The signs help a little but the lack of consistency in the stairs proves to be more confusing than anything else in my experience.
However, I do think that there is a big issue with survivor's resources in this map. I think there should be a better balance. More windows, safe or not, some grass, better places to hide (maybe wreckage of boxes or something), and even some less hidden pallets. This said, I am excited to see what BHVR pulls for their map rework on this one, it's sure to be interesting seeing this map get a rework alongside the others.
I just hope BHVR thinks up an outside portion to this map, or atleast works in some sort of grass/mechanic to obscure traps. And windows. Windows are hard to come by in this map.
Those are some good suggestions, as I don’t know how I would fix the map

it doesn't matter the outcome, I could still 4k every match but the map is strong for survivors.
figure this, back in the days survivors still accomplished to lose in a coldwind map, despite there were a ######### ton of pallets, every god loop was untouched and in every tile survivors could see the killer for the entire time. Even if survivors lost it doesn't mean that the map was balanced at all.
everyone has shity games, that’s a fact, even on good maps, like your mentioning. The fact is, I’ve never had a good match on the game map, only when the killer is baby is it fun. And I don’t think my opinion is that uncommon. Btw good for u that you can 4K every game, takes a lot of skill.

the map has literally 4 certain super strong pallets condensed in one area plus the other rng based locations aren't remotely hard to learn and still those pallets are strong and it has a rng based super safe gen, so no, it's one of the strongest survivors maps.
When you get killer, and get game map, can you tell me you’re outcome?

Wait, nevermind, what heart beat?
When your channeling abyss, if you travel through a portal it’s lit up yellow to the demo, and when a survivor is near it a heart beat comes up that the demo can see, and then knows to teleport to. What I’m saying is atm there’s a chance where it’s not visible and gives you a false sense of security

I saw that I was rank 8 survivor with no pips on monday, so I decided to play as laurie with just OoO and a flashlight.
I'm usually a more passive teammate, but i ran this doctor around for 4 gens and still black pipped. Damn near pipped. Loaded another match, and didn't do as 'well' against a legion.
I guess I'll be rank 13 today. My magic number is 5? I guess it was worth it but eh.
RR only puts you back to the next color, so it was only a setback, not a reset :(

I can feel your pain, even though I’m not the best killer, I’ve been seeing more and more lobbies with urban evasion.I Also can’t find Any1 Until they finish a gen, even then urban evasion has given them such a head start and they are not in the direct vicinity of the killer. The thing is that urban Can easily be countered by doctor . But the last thing I wanna see is more doctor if stealth becomes meta. Because doctor is so low skill and you’re able to get soooo much value(not just my experience as killer but me as survivor playing against, over half of these doctors don’t know how to mind game so they instead spam shock therapy in ur face until you have no choice but to run. Not trying to trigger the good doctors)

I have gone against my fair share of spirits. There is some counter play to her phase power. And if you are one of the few survivor that can run a spirit around, they'll just resort to rushing the unhook as soon as possible for an easy down. Sadly her power and mobility encourage and enable this easy tunneling.
I recommend running dstrike, as it's good for against all tunnelers, especially spirit. And spinechill, as it prevents spirits and other stealth killers from getting there free first hit. This can be immensely helpful in adding chase time against spirit, as the second hit to down the injured survivor can is also a free hit (they can pretty much pinpoint where you are with survivor moaning). So preventing the first hit is key as long as possible. Make sure to heal if you get the chance.
I wouldn't bother with iron will just to counter spirit, as most use stridor anyway and it makes you moan and grunt even with iron will equipped. If it's already part of your loadout keep it on.
Lastly, do note I said there is some counter to her phase power. However, imo, there is barely any counterplay if the spirit has more than a few games of experience, better than $10 stereo headphones, and stridor. Regardless of how great of a player you are, if you are injured, your mindgames, bluffs, fakes won't matter. She'll be able to pinpoint your location and down you once out of phase.
Lots of spirit mains on the forums will disagree with my above statement, but if one were suggest something like continue chase music in phase or to make grunt volume lower in phase (remember theyre supposed to primary be using "unreliable" scratch marks), they will try to fight you at the same time they will deny that a semi-decent pair of headphones is what make spirits too strong.
In my experience as both playing her with good headphones and obliterating pretty much every match but my first, and playing against her, her skill input is disproportional to her performance, and I don't think the changes the devs made fixed it (compared to even old nurse who required a relatively significant amount of input). The amount of skill needed to counter spirit is also disproportional compared what is needed for other killers (meaning: assuming that rank actually meant something, a purple rank surv could match a purple rank killer playing billy and give him a run for his money. However that same purple rank decides to play spirit, and I'd say you only get a 3 man escape/a win if you're red rank team of optimal players.)
Scottjund made a good relatively unbias and objective post detailing some of the frustrations if playing against spirit, even detailing some pay to win cosmetic mechanics. Sadly most of the feedback was ignored when they reworked spirit, and she still has pay to win cosmetics that hide information about phasing.
You have basically took my point and further explained it, this is how I feel completely.

All I have recommended was a discrete visual queue, not about perks for anything else, I want to reward high skill survivors and punish the dumb ones, because even playing as the spirit, Ik how frustrating the mind games are for the survivor. Note, playing as spirit is hella fun and I want to find a balance that doesn’t take that away, seeing a survivor panic tf out is quality laughter

Did they remove her phasing sound or something? The phasing sound is a clear giveaway shes phasing?
That’s when your out of terror radius, then you know, but if your in it it’s nothing

run kindred because solo queue
run iron will because nurse and spirit
run spinechill because spirit
run ds because tunellers
run unbreakable because sluggers
run bt because campers
run small game because noed
oh, you can't run all of them? so stop complaining you stupid survivor, just die and go for your 15 min queue look for another lobby.
Mate I think you have misunderstood me, I’m not saying that every killer is OP. I can deal with every other one just fine it’s just spirit seems heavy sided against you, that’s all I’m saying my dude.

Your too late buddy, the month where survivors cried about Spirit is over. It's all about that gosh darn NOED now.
And there is counter play to Spirit, your just too inexperienced at it.
can you tell me what you do to counter her? Because I have a lot of trouble personally, and it might have come out in my response(and I agree with you NOED is so annoying rn lol)
