Yup does not unlock for me as well. I did the generator in the theater and escaped. Playing on PC (Steam)

I promise you, I always let the animation play out and then got the perk to activate. Never got a progress pop up, I could also share clips, but someone else already has done that. Did you get it recently or a long time ago?

Having the same issue, my assumption is that the basement hooks are not currently registered as "basement hooks" and therefore the challenge can't progress. I'm hoping they are fixing this ASAP.

Okay thanks! But I think it's rather strange that they are so rare.. because in the other event you got them in like every bloodweb.
