This can be abused for a free unhook. Also what about maps with more than one floor. Such as Midwich or The Game. The killer could be above or below the hook but they will still be within 10 meters. Face camping already has a solution. Stay on the hook for as long as possible, do gens and get out.
Wow man, you’re big brain. We got Jimmy Neutron here folks. This isn’t a instant free hook. If a killer is facecamping, they’re not going to move for no reason. If the killer is away, the person will get unhooked either way, so Basically like a normal game. If the killer I under them or above them, it just super slows the timer down, which won’t matter cause somebody is going to unhook the survivor anyway. This doesn’t regress a killer, just either don’t facecamp, or give the survivors more time.

i know you hate camping killer but survivors don't need anymore help i mean playing survivor you get lucky or you the unlucky one but with your idea all 4 survivors would get out 100% of the time.
Not really, one is still gonna die... the killer is facecamping and still gets a certified 1k most likely. This just helps out the survivors with more time, doesn’t seem to be OP to me. Survivors get more time instead of getting hurt by a unfair strategy in the game (facecamping). It allows the killer to still do nothing and progress, while survivors get more time to make up for that one survivor they lost due to a StRaTeGy.

We have a perk for that.
Camaraderie:
Life has taught you the importance of friendship which has given you strength.
While you are on the Hook in the Struggle Phase, Camaraderie activates.
If another Survivor is within 16 metres of your Hook while Camaraderie is activated, the Struggle Phase timer is paused for 26/30/34 seconds
Yes, that’s if the survivor is close to the person that’s hooked. Even then, that survivor now must do nothing but remain close to the hooked survivor and do nothing to progress the game. Then that makes 2 survivors who can’t do anything really, all while the killer can do nothing but stand there. It’s a good perk if their was things close to the hooked survivor, but doesn’t help when it comes to facecamping AT ALL.

It amazes me how often this same suggestion comes up and how the same answer is always given. It should be obvious why tye suggestion is a bad one no offense
Exactly, you should see HOW OFTEN IT IS SUGGESTED. Cause their is no counter to it and helps nobody but the killer possibly. With this suggestion, the killer doesn’t get hurt or helped, and the survivors sill might not get the hooked survivor, but they have more time to do things!
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
nope. It's abusable to force a free unhook
Not really, if the killer is within a certain amount of meters close to you, the hooked persons health shouldn’t go down. So, the killer can still facecamp, he can be touching the survivor if he wanted to, it’s just going to give survivors more time to do things. It hurts the killer for using this “strategy” but helps survivors in a way of having more time due to the unfairness of facecamping!

This entire thread is a dumpster fire and I love it.
This is what we all really came here for. This is why the forums were made, for intellectual, cohesion, and non-dubious post like this one. A good opinion and varied amount of answers. I love it also!

Yeah but he’s simply shirtless. He’s not been intentionally sexualised. That’s on the player if they find that attractive. There’s a big difference.
Like it would make sense for Meg to be wearing tight fitting spots gear. It makes sense for Kate to wear very short, ritzy skirts for shows.
Dang bruh that’s crazy

Sounds good to me, if David can be shirtless why not Meg right? Lol I’d pay for it!

Oh idk, it’s a pretty popular word last time I checked... you must not fit the age requirement to use the work drip you boomer.

The fact that you say drip and boomer unironically is cringe
Shut up boomer, go get you some drip and then come back to me.

It means clothing. So cosmetics and more. Drip means fashion or “fresh”. So, bill needs more cosmetics and just more love in general!

NoEd is definitely a anti-momentum perk for survivors. Most terrible killers use it cause it rewards bad killers.

Been away for a while but after reading this all I got was, 1: Just don’t get hooked (nice one), 2: Take it like a man (killer bias and the only thing to do really), or 3: Just play killer (yes, let’s just convert everybody towards killer and have them do the same lol).
Yes, I understand their is a punishment for facecamping as a killer and that’s not pipping up or gaining bloodpoints... but I’m pretty sure a killer doesn’t care about none of that if they are face camping! Most facecamping killers I see are in red ranks and sometimes purple. I’m okay with a killer proximity camping or staying kinda close, but facecamping on the first hook of the game and being a billy just isn’t really right nor entertaining. Also, survivors get punished for being facecamped aswell. Most of the time they gain hardly any bloodpoints and they don’t pip up either.
The only solution to get them off the hook is you almost have to be in a swf and have the right perks and tools. So, the killer can sit and do nothing while the survivors regress or take more time, and if they attempt to help their progress gets more slower and challenging... all while the killer doesn’t really have to do anything. Seems balanced and reasonable (it is DBD though so those two things are a myth in the game). So, to help them from getting unhooked isn’t even worth it really. The survivor gets punished and the killer gets “punished”, but they don’t really care about the consequences.
So, facecamping is a scummy thing to do, and hopefully it can be tweaked or be removed as a “strategy” somehow. I know it’ll never go away cause their are to many Toxic killers who think they are proving a point (yes, their are also toxic survivors too killer mains, calm down). The gameplay can’t be very fun for both killer or survivor when it happens, but maybe killers will stop using it as a “strategy” or facecamping can be tweaked to make it less powerful or require a more serious punishment.

Well I'm not wrong. You haven't put any defence apart from snide remarks which are only reinforcing that notion. Do you have anything else to say? Or even a hint of attempting to have a civil discussion?
Or was this thread created just so you could spill some salt?
What defense have you put up though? All you’ve done is agreed with somebody and say “these guys are doing insults” lmaooo

Off topic, but I think the OP created an alt account today (Dubvee5), just for his posts lol.
Both accounts were created today within only 20 minutes of each other, have the exact same viewpoint and have only commented on the same posts :D
Just a guess, but would be pretty hilarious if I'm actually right. Would be pretty pathetic if that was the case haha
You sat there and real life thought this was a good comment. Like “oh man, let me show people my big brain, I assure you my guess is correct” like homie you are dead wrong lol but you tried and that’s all that matters haha

Getting facecamped sucks but it wouldn't be an issue if survivors dealt with it properly.
Well dang, why didn’t I think of this. I’ll just handle being facecamped by a billy properly next time. Thanks for the words of Wisdom, you must be in gold ranks with that comment...
So that was sarcasm (you probably couldn’t tell cause that paragraph was also full of stupidity, so you probably can’t tell the difference when something horrible is suggested vs something actually good).
-
This is it chief. Ps4 killers/survivors can play really toxic and have their settings on private so nobody messages them. They keep them private cause they know they are playing scum baggy (it’s usually killers cause they can be toxic and facecamp/tunnel more). SO, instead of probably being really sensitive and get away with it, the end game chat will atleast chat with your fandoms or give a killer a “piece of your mind”!

You have an entire team
2 health states
4 perks
And a tool to escape
Tr alerts , 3rd person view, map interactables, corners bushes lockers grass corn All to prevent yourself from being found
I mean if you go down its on you and your team don't demand extra lives.
Hookrush, deliverance bt ds sabo dh ooo mom flashlivht pallet stunning everything about this game is built to survive
Interesting, it’s almost like the killers job and add on/perks is there to stop us and balance that out.
Maybe you should read the discussion again, I was facecamped by the billy. I was first person hooked, so nobody can get me cause it’s a billy, and I could have 20 health states, but if you’re getting facecamped they don’t matter... killers also have 4 perks if you didn’t know (you must be new to the game or have never leveled up before). Killers also get alerts (if you’re facecamped tho killers won’t care). Killers also have map interactions. Also, the corn WOW how come I’ve never hidden just straight up in the corn. You my sir must be a rank 0 survivor, ahead of everybody else in the game!
Let me know when you play the game more, sounds like you haven’t played it a lot. Just watch out because Gen rush strategy is toxic and facecamp strategy is clever and unique. Also, with no punishments basically. Have fun and don’t die... unless you play killer then don’t facecamp!
