honestly my biggest worry with the perk is it's potential interaction with the hyperfocus/stake out combo.

DbD servers are pretty crap, especially lately

To be fair, strength and killrate aren't necessarily paired one-to-one like that.
Overall killrate data is going to be swayed by a lot of factors, like newer/inexperienced players, the accumulated weight of fluke games, people messing around, people playing drunk, people throwing on purpose, etcetera. That's not to say the data is useless, but that it isn't a linear "strength goes up with killrate and vice versa" number.
Blight isn't getting nerfed for having a high killrate, he's getting nerfed because he's incredibly strong. Not everyone is able to play him to his highest strength or to even unlock most of his strength, and not everyone is approaching every match with the intent to do that, but he's still incredibly strong.
I wouldn't be too worried or frustrated, though. What we've seen are minor nerfs that shouldn't hurt him too bad, just reduce his ability to cheese hits.
A very VERY important case of kill rate not equaling strength is Nurse, who usually has a bellow average kill rate due to her difficulty to play for most people but she's often just as high on the tier list as Blight

Stop with the 4.4, its outdated by todays game speed.
legit the ONLY 4.4 killer I can confidently say should be 4.6 is Hag man. She needs SOMETHING

Lots of unhealthy things in the game at the moment:
Pallet density on lots of maps, really strong perks with no real downside or risk like Botany Knowledge or Vigil, Brand New Part not consuming a toolbox allowing it and a commodious to be used for a really fast gen repair, and 70 second hook stages

I think genuinely the whole spilling while running with a blood can has to be removed it's majorly destroying the fun
Hard disagree because of people running perks like sprint burst all the time. Being able to sprint burst away from a pump to a gen with no loss of blood would be agony to play against

Also, as a quick comparison:
Loading up 1 fuel can ~ 9 seconds
Emptying a FULL fuel can ~ 11 seconds
Charges a full fuel can covers ~ 44%
Shortest distance running to a gen ~ 5 seconds (running is only worth it if its so close)
Which means the quickest solo generator takes 25(running between gen and fuel tank)+25(2.5 refuels to combat spilling)+25(emptying the fuel can)=75 seconds.
Which is fast, sure, but the average distance(so far) to the furthest generator from a fuel tank is 15 seconds running, which loses you 30% of a fuel tank, meaning you would have to go 4 times. Which is even while running:
75 seconds spend running between the fuel tank, 30 seconds of emptying fuel cans, 40 seconds refueling and suddenly that 75 super speedy gen takes 145 seconds solo without any interference of the killer.
Now, fuel tanks could be bugged, but right now, gen regression perks are overkill.the problem is that there are also blood gens usually not too far from a fuel tank which speeds up gen progress significantly on top of progress likely also being made on a normal generator. regression perks are not overkill imo

Well that certainly is strange. I wonder if this is a new precedent moving forward or just a one-off since it's just a new Survivor this time.
doubt it's just because it's only a new survivor. Since Steady Pulse was also just a survivor and has a proper DLC page

not on the survey responses they are not, and that's open for everyone to take…seems like the majority are all for it.
apologies for any rudeness in my previous response, was not my intention.
Most of the issues I have with the regular extensions of the game mode are the issues it causes for the 1v4 queues, taking much longer to get into a match and leading to much sweatier matches overall. -

I don't think 2v8 even has MMR active, since it can wildly vary from game to game
not in the 2v8 mode, it's nonexistent there. But in 1v4 it is

Currently we use the MMR system. It's more important to teach players that they can learn the game even if they lose.
right, unfortunately DBD's mmr system is not only borked even in normal play, 2v8 tends to make it even worse. that's what I've been trying to say

A lot rests on the survey response, it gives us a strong idea of whether to extend or not…the extension is not always a given.
certainly hasn't seemed that way. pretty sure it's been extended every single time and a lot of people are sick of it

If it's taken as an insult, that's fine. I think it's more disgusting to want to fight a weaker opponent when it's convenient for you.
I'm not trying to say that. I just would rather have a more even match up even if I lose than deal with a sweat fest that becomes even more frequent in normal queue during 2v8

Your departure from civility to replace discussion with an insult may charm you, but it doesn't counter-act the statement. I, too, have seen increased queue times and a wildly less stable MMR during 2v8. The same phenomenon was reported last year and before that, almost every time 2v8 is introduced. It's still being referenced in the other 2v8 thread, and has been cited a great many times.
Insulting people is neither necessary, nor conducive to a discussion. Skill level has nothing to do with queue times and MMR.it's also just how DBD's already notorious matchmaker works. the less players there are in the current moment the matchmaker will put you in whatever lobby it can find, which unfortunately does mean you'll likely get matched against higher skill survivors and swfs since they usually prefer 1v4 themselves

I don't understand what you're talking about. If you don't like 2v8, just play 1v4. There are different game modes. The waiting time to start the match doesn't change, and the quality of the opponents doesn't change. If anything changes, then you're either special, or there are fewer people playing Dead by Daylight in your area than in my area. Note: Not everyone in the world plays Dead by Daylight.
both those things are blatantly untrue.
Not only are queue times for Killer much longer as there's less people playing the 1v4 during the event period. But you're more likely to run into higher skill opponents due to the lower number of players in regular queue, turning the matches much much more sweaty.

Because shockingly there are players that want more than 2 weeks to play the mode, the game does not revolve around you. Besides you'll get all the 1v4 you want when the new chapter releases.
while i have grown to strongly dislike the mode myself, even less fun on the killer end than 1v4 if I'm being honest, extending it every time gets annoying for a lot of players who want to play standard 1v4 without it feeling like more of a sweat fest than it already is. for once I wish they'd end it when it's scheduled to end

BHVR end 2v8 when it's scheduled to challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
