yeah it’s always stop the killer from doing this.
if they wanna stop tunneling and camping then they should address the main problem causing it. Map balance. The majority of killers struggle on huge maps already, then you add 100 pallets to each map and take out dead zones. Yeah no wonder people camp and tunnel. Every map has brain dead loops that offer almost 0 counter play for killers and guess what there’s usually another loop right next to it that leads to another and another and so on. Ntm while you’re chasing a survivor through this pallets corse. three gens are being worked on in the process.
Survivor takes little to no skill anymore! Bhavior has put up the guard rails for survivors without giving anything meaningful to killer. But devs don’t care. They’ll coddle survivors to the end of time bc that’s where the money is.

So while it fantastic that Blight is getting the Nerfs to make him more balanced why is Ghoul not being made 4.4? After the immense amount of feedback and Devs during the Livestream were ignoring in chat about anything related to Ghoul.
Why ain't the Devs Addressing and ignoring the extreme amount of Displeasure of going against Ghoul? Devs please make Ghoul 4.4!
why no survivor nerfs?

I used to love playing DBD. But I started realizing that almost EVERY killer (I said ALMOST) runs some sort of aura reading Perk (BBQ & Chili and the sort). SOme killers are running 2, 3 , I have even seen 4 aura perks. well congratulations Behavior, the game is now not fun whatsoever. I am FORCED to run distortion, just to see if the killer has skills enough to actually find survivors, or if the killer is a sweaty try hard letting the game play it for him or her. Tell your programmers they don't have to program hiding places anymore; due to the fact the killer can just run an entire aura build and find you. Funny how you reward killers to use that tactic, but if I should use a wall hack I'm penalized. OH I get it, we have to use YOUR wall hacks. It is making this game SO much not fun.
Even when this game survivor sided, survivors still cry over bs like this.

a perfect way to silence criticism.

The Devs should just play their own game. I bet a million so many things would get nerfed in they played a high mmr killer match against a bully squad. But that’s never going to happen again because how much embarrassment it caused the company.

And killers doesn't benefit from making the right play? I can't remember a game where making a mistake will grant me another chance. And the second it doesn't go their way, they give up?
Can you imagine if a killer whiffs the survivor must stand still and take a hit?
So why do survivors receive so many benefits against strategies killers use? And why does bhvr continue to listen to these types of survivors when it ultimately hurts their game in the long run?
Uh-oh! You upset the survivor mains that haven’t played high mmr killer.

intentionally 12 hook, never chase people off unhook, play a b tier, never slug even when theyre camping with flashlights
they still teabag and stand at gate and flashlight click anyway?
why should i even bother following their made up rules if theyre just going to act like toxic babies anyway? surv players are terrible losers and even worse winners
Congrats on see the hypocrisy of this trash community that been cultivated by the devs, with their incessant coddling of survivors. The majority of these diaper wearing losers are toxic no matter what way you play.
So my best advice to you is to stop trying to please these losers and focus on you. Who cares what these tit sucking survivors think especially when the game is 90% in their favor anyway!
Tunnel, camp, mori, use noed. Play the game you wanna play

Just got done playing on Backwater and there is a pallet at every corner, every turn, outside edges of the map are all padded up with pallets. Its wild. Its big boat map too so you have a strong loop there, you still have shack AND Pier which has 2 pallets and a window. If that wasn't enough on each side of pier is a pallet.
Backwater isn't the only place that's overpopulated either. Prenn Asylum is miserable. Every filler is a pallet like WHY. Who thought this was a good idea?
devs don’t care, they never will.

If you guys haven't caught on yet, Pain Res DMS is still the best build on most killers. Funny that after all these changes and 5 years, it's always been the strongest build and BHVR hasn't changed the perk meta significantly.
probably because devs don’t care about the state that killers are in. And they never will.
-
you obviously don’t play killer, the game is so in your favor as survivor it’s laughable.

Always the same killers, always the same strategy, always the same perks/loadout, always the same maps, always the same layout, always the same survivors.
Where is the variety? It's so boring seeing the same thing over and over again.
This is super easy to answer!
Because most killers can’t compete on the majority of the maps that usually have a 100 pallets that chain together. Also most killers perks are absolute dog water that offer little to no help in slowing gens or chasing. So why run anything else other than the meta? Especially since survivors are just going to run the meta as well.

@Doodlebug said:
What's going on with the game? It's unplayable as a killer now, just looping and pallets. You could counter the looping, the number of pallets now is insane. I'm done until this gets fixed, beyond frustrating. Stop bowing down to weak surv players
simple! devs don’t care about the killer side. Look back at the street wise crisis. Devs didn’t give a rats behind even tho it completely broke the game. Only after massive back lash for two months did they finally kill switch it.

People are probably DCing because of built-up frustrations. You don't DC cause you're perfectly happy except for one little thing going wrong. In basically all my killer matches that have a DC, the match was already mine. That's the big issue, the hopeless point that the survivor side gets to—sometimes very quickly—and now you're stuck running around in circles with no hope of a comeback. Killer always has a chance at a comeback. I've won matches where I've had one hook. Survivor has no such hope. You can't even hope for hatch since the killer will probably slug for the 4k. There's a reason survivors tend to DC more than killers.
Not everyone minds bots. I had a match today where all 4 people ended up leaving once the match was hopeless and it was just me and their 4 bots—so I finished the match with the bots. I don't need my opponenets as an audience to witness my win. They already knew. That's why they left.
dude, are you screwing with me??? Survivors have so many second chances it’s unbelievable!
But still the bottom line is “entitlement”. Survivor running a meta build, gets out played, first hook, them dc. Then the rest dc.There needs to be harsher punishments for dcing just because the match isn’t going your way. Same with killers in that regard.
You clicked play, so did the other players. You knew what you signed up for. Deal with what you get rather than be a big baby.

@cogsturning said:
Or maybe we can address the issues that make everyone so unhappy? Punishing people doesn't help player retention.
what issues?? The fact that I out played someone at shack with huntress and they dc?
Let’s stop beating around the bush the majority of ppl quitting is bc the game doesn’t go their way. Not punishing those ppl doesn’t help player retention bc w t f wants to play against bots or with them? Not me nor the next guy.

@OnryosTapeRentals said:
It's awful and has been awful for years. I was hoping they'd look at it when they put "addressing high priority killer issues" on their roadmap but that has come and gone and basically none of the issues were actually fixed so idk anymore.
with how much time they waste trying to appease survivors they pretty much neglect any basic needss for killers. It’s so blatantly obvious that I think they honestly don’t care anymore.

Are we ever going to get anti slug and anti tunneling? They are still a big issue and its odd that those proposed changes were scrapped all together instead of being tweaked.
are killers ever gonna get better maps with less pallets?

Since the latest season started if you play anything else then a very mobile killer with some anti loop your Genrushed to oblivion....
Hell you get gen rushed even if you play one of them on most matches lolGens poping like a madman... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it feels horrible right now...
I Don't really enjoy playing most of the very mobile killers sadly sooo im just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sideways...
The hell happened with the gen speeds ?
Gen speeds are fine, it’s when you stack a bunch of perks is the issue. For example hyper focused, stake out, dejavu, with resilience or prove thyself. Gens gonna fly! Especially with big maps that have strong loops and pallets.
Total nightmare for any low mobility killer.

I feel like that would eliminate the entire unique part about his kit. Are you suggesting that if you place the gateway close enough to a survivor the chains should latch on to them automatically? Because that would just be very similar to the First now, with the potential of being completely undodgeable if the gateway spawned to quickly.
Not the main chain that you control, but the ones that spawn after when you snag a survivor with the short delay. And sure it might be similar with the ire add on, but I’m looking at improving the console experience. You get little to no value out of his power for how difficult it is to hit. It’s the main reason why you don’t see him much in matches and when you do it’s just another ‘box logic wander’
-
idk why survivor mains are crying. there’s still plenty of strong loops and if you mess up there’s plenty of second chance perks the game offers you.
-
I have in total 6k hours on console. I main trapper and every game I play is against the sweatiest players, sometimes even the same ones on occasion. All of them are p100, all meta builds, they’re pathing on loops is perfect most chases, and they’re super efficient on gens, even going so far as to get downed in the corner of the map so it wastes more of my time.
I don’t win every match, but I do win majority of them because I do tunnel, proxy camp, and slug. Now before you ask is this every game? No, but it’s a strategic play for a weak killer like trapper. -

Unfortunately I'm not onboard with them, I don't really like the idea of placing greater emphasis on The Clown's invigoration bottles because I personally don't really like using them.
I play Clown to be an area denial killer, I really like the gameplay of placing negative zones that discourage and impair survivor's options. It makes me feel like how using molotovs in Left 4 Dead feels, you throw bottles down where you don't want your threats to be, in advance, to eliminate their options. That's the gameplay fantasy I like to engage with in Clown.
But I never really saw the need for the alternate projectile, I really liked the depth of his area denial alone, and adding a second bottle adds all kinds of complexities to his gameplay, such as having to manage your single inventory of the two bottles. Having to switch between them with only one button based of "tapping" and "holding" which for a player is a vague and approximate type of control distinction, especially for two actions that do not resemble one another. And that these bottles do not provide area denial, they require different skills and consideration which massively increase the amount of mental bandwidth to engage with proficiently.
It's just not something I'm particularly interested in engaging with, because ultimately it makes Clown far too complex with adding very much nuance(?) As in, it just becomes a matter of placing down two zones (in a specific order) to create a bigger speed differential, but takes a hell of a lot more inputs.
I think, ultimately, if I am forced to use invigoration bottles more or invigoration bottles are made more central to the Clown's gameplay, I would rather just not play Clown. Invigoration bottles are strong and useful, but they just don't relate to the gameplay I want out of Clown.
bhvr forces killers to play their game their way, even if that mean completely gutting the killer to be more survivor friendly.

Do you feel the same about 2v8?
2v8 is a game mode. Don’t like it? Then don’t play it.
-
because the majority that everyone is looking at is the low mmr players not the high ones. At high mmr the only killers you’ll be facing is nurse, blight, and Billy. Wanna know why? Bc they’re the top three that can actually compete at that level. Any other killer 9/10 you are going to loose.

There are too many perk combinations that completely ruin the balance when used on Stealthy killers. This is why so many survivors refuse to participate in matches, occasionally i get hard carried by someone who is really skilled at this game but nearly every match im in, i have to solo the gens, or run across the entire map to save someone off the hook. and this is only an issue with stealth kills like the shape or ghostface, and the worst of the bunch springtrap. they all make stealth far too easy, and have super easy downing mechanics. theyre broken. The Wraith and The Spirit are also stealth killers but theyre balanced, so it isnt like the DBD team doesnt know how to make stealth fair. but maybe thats just because those are original characters, maybe they choose to break IP characters they dont own. but it ruins the game. a majority of players are scaredy cats, and the mix of unbalanced killers and meta perk builds ruins the games fun factor. you end up with a bunch of tryhards all super amped up to mori
you are obviously on the low end of mmr

this is one of the most killer sided events by far- what are you on about? you get remote break pallet which wins you every 50/50 at a pallet, remote hook which is disgusting since it skips the process of walking to a hook and is especially nasty with scourge hook perks and bbq. you also get the enduring to counter the party pallets. or you could just respect the pallet or run enduring if you hate the party pallets so much.
you are obviously low mmr

Trapper is the only killer in the game that can completely shut down loop without any chance of counterplay. He also is extremely good at proxy-camping basement. All his gameplay of survivor stepping into traps to give you free hooks is just so luck-based that it's not even fun to play. Fe. I trap pallet jym, three survivors step into same traps, boom… 3 free hooks, then another game I trap everything and they just disarm everything. Hot take here is just every trapper running double iri making him not so relying on resetting traps.
Pig is in the box of m1 killers despite her ambush got changed, she has stealth but everyone plays her like none of her kit other than RBT exist. Again, she's not fun to play either.
you’re low mmr

i mean i have a 75%+ kill rate across almost all killers and i let survivors play for hatch in almost every game. my wraith actually has an 86% kill rate. and i'm not even a great killer.
i think the truth is that killers think they should win every game. i certainly think this way when i play killer. because it feels so bad when 3 or 4 survivors escape. but at the same time i don't really value most of the wins i do get on killer either because of how easy they were earned. it's a lot of black and white thinking as a killer player and i don't think it should be that way.
honestly, my perspective used to be different. there was a time when the game actually was survivor sided and when nurse and blight and spirit actually were the only good killers in the game. you kinda knew you were gonna have a hard time every game and because the expectations for success were so much lower losing didn't feel so bad.
and i think it's the combination of so many games being "free" as a killer, coupled with getting occasionally bullied by real teams, that makes losing feel worse.
then you’re low mmr

But that's the thing, sometimes you're not supposed to win.. Neither side should get a free kill/win, just because. We're playing a asymmetric game..
if you’re not supposed to win why even try?? What r f is even the purpose of the game if you’re not supposed to win that is such backwards logic.
-
You’re either a survivor main or you’re not playing at high mmr. I’m here to win and I’m gonna do everything in my power to, I shouldn’t have to follow some made up survivor rule book when the game is already unfair for me.
-
some times a killer needs to tunnel to win, especially if it a m1. Survivors already have a thousand second chance perks and enough pallets to build a new map with. How much more babying do they need?
-
probably bc people are forced to play unfun killers..
