The devs don't give a single fk about ping related issues caused by their updates. I and many others had issues from the 1st of September until now and nobody cares. I went from 70 to 85 - 100 ping and let me tell you, it's a whole different game. Can't imagine how good 40 ping must've felt.

Since the beginning of September my ping went from 70 - 75 to 80 - 100. I suspect it was initially because of the denuvo trial and after that due to 2v8 gamemode (I only play normal) as it usually happens. Almost a month now I'm forced to play with higher ping for no reason. It's not just the lack of servers in Europe and in general, it's the game itself.

Yes, since the denuvo update I've had issues with ping as well. Higher constant ping (from around 70 - 75 to 85 - 90) with higher ping fluctuation up to 100+, and sometimes the desync icon appears as well. Nothing changed with my connection otherwise.

By the way have you thought about using battleye anticheat? I want a less performance costing anti-cheat, cheaters will find a way to bypass it any anti-cheat you use and use their never ending swarm of epic games account, might as well make the experience better for non-cheaters.This is my case as well. I can handle the occasional cheater, but having 10 - 20 higher ping and more unstable as well feels horrible.

I have input lag in some of my games but the worst problem of all for me is higher and inconsistent ping. NOTHING changed with my connection otherwise but I've had 15 - 20 higher baseline ping (from 70 to 80 - 90) with additional spikes going up into the 100 - 110. Thanks a lot, I feel much safer from hackers with 2 anti cheat software running at the same time.

Input lag, higher ping and ping fluctuation, desync. The only thing I haven't had was crashes. I love being a guinea pig.

They couldn't care less apparently, do you still have bad ping? I had long periods of ping issues every time they released an event, and now it's back for a few days.

Nevermind I spoke too soon, today my ping is back to the good 'ol 85 - 100 range for no reason whatsoever. I love DBD!

Nevermind, my connection seems to be back to normal, from 80 - 85 in these last 3 months back to 64 - 72. Nothing different on my end, exact same connection.

3 months and counting for me, I've been having 20 higher ping than normal, people like Ayrun and Scott Jund have talked about this issue but nothing from BHVR as of yet.

My ping has been awful since October, events or not, no matter what gamemode I get higher ping than I used to despite my connection being exactly the same. I only have this issue with DBD. I went from 65 - 75 ping to 80 - 85 since then and nothing got fixed for me. I wish it was just the events gamemodes or in all gamemodes while events are active but no, it seems like it's permanent.

Me too, I was happy at 65 - 70 ping, now I'd be happy if I had consistent 80 ping. I feel like the game is working against me since I mostly play survivor. It's an entirely different game at 65, can't imagine how good 50 ping would be.

I've seen a couple threads on steam discussions today having the same issue, some poor guy has 200+ ping the last 6 days, another one close to 100. I do believe it's their servers, others complain that they have 50 ping when they had 30 or less.
I've also seen Ayrun's twitter post about having high ping despite what gamemode he plays on recently. But we never see anyone at BHVR addressing this issue which is far more important than minor bugs or adding more skinds. -
20 higher ping than normal for me since October, now I play at 80 - 85, but hey at least we get new skins we'll never use.

I've had higher ping than normal since October and I've been trying to communicate this to the devs as well as other players. The devs I've talked to have been kind but they're acting as if it's inexplicable, then I saw someone say that they started using cheaper servers which is why most people have been having ping issues.
For reference mine used to range from 65 to 75 but mostly around 70 and now it's 80 - 85 at best and it's really been killing my will to play. My speedtest . net results have been identical to what I used to get in the summer so it's not on our end. -
Same for me but it's been this way for almost 2 months now, I used to have 65 - 70 ping and now it's 80 - 85. In the event of course it's 100 to 130. My internet speed on speedtest is exactly the same, I suspect what's causing it is what I've seen people talking about, BHVR started using cheaper, worse servers.

Yes it happened to me a few times over the years but this is the first time I was penalized for getting killed too fast.
By the way since you're all here, have you people experienced worse ping the last few patches? My ping used to be "good", from 65 to 75 but lately it's been 80 at best and goes up to 100 even though my connection is just as fast as before according to speedtest. -
Didn't they downgrade their servers and as a result many people experience worse ping and desync issues since September? What "labor of love" is this supposed to be if you don't care about the experience of the playerbase?

It's bad isn't it, especially with the event going on right now and I don't want to lose on the rewards because it's so frustrating to play like this.

Mine as well, I see people talk about desync all the time but my ping has only gotten worse in DBD lately. Speedtest and all online games apart from DBD are just as they were before. But here I get constant ping spikes from mid 60s to 70 up to 90!
