  • Flashback to when I had the idea of Tiffany carrying a Chucky doll she would release to injure people while she remained a husk. Kind of like new killer...wait a minute...

  • What if Chucky’s attack would be a “sever to the leg” kind of attack and slowed them down for Tiffany to chase?..
  • Or what if Tiffany could place Chucky dolls like traps and if a survivor went within a certain radius of the doll (so similar to a Hag trap), he ran out and injured the survivor..
  • THe Legion is basically how Ghostface would of been. Close to it.

Ive read rumors that he was supposed to be Ghostface but had license issues so Legion became what he is. Thus why i suggest Ghostface cosmetics for Legion because it would be equally acceptable  :)
  • The point was made that this would divide the current community and the playerbase isnt big enough for that to which i want to counter that they are discussing more modes that will do so regardless.
  • Id settle for a swimsuit collection for All characters including killers  ;)
  • Due to the current dispute between players of dbd over social media and streaming services, there have been some serious issues brought to light on problems people have with the game. People are deranking for better queues, to get away from “sweaty/try hard” killers, etc while others want your rank to represent your skill level accurately. If you agree with either side, competitive and casual plays mode can fix it.
  • Can we get a mod to delete as this is currently in ptb??

To clarify on the hook ability: the hook will go towards a point along the center of the Pinhead's vision, charging the ability will increase the distance away from Pinhead; so for example, tapping would be 5 metres, but fully charging would be 20 metres.

So similar to nurse blinks? That would make it awful on console due to fps just like anything that required precision currently is..(nurse, huntress,..)

    Edit:

    Hook Throw:
Pinhead within range of a hook can throw it in a line from the hook towards a survivor. There must be no obstacles that interfere with the path. A successful hook will drag a survivor towards the hook prompting three difficult skill checks. If the survivor passes the skill checks then they break free but suffer injury or dying state depending on their status, otherwise they are dragged to the hook.

There is a gear at top right of your post where you should be able to access settings to edit :)
  • That or what if you didnt rank up in swf mode? Still earned bloodpoints and exp towards level but no pips. Seems fair when it requires a lot less skill..
I mean, I like my original idea of swf mode being coop killers mode but no responses here..
  • Also, how about an add on in which she doesnt scream when blinking therefore having the silent approach like the spirit.

Or the opposite add on similar to legion’s in which you hear her hearbeat map wide while she is blinking.
  • I definitely agree with the increased movement speed add on. Rather than taking away her fatigue for next idea, how about not looking down during it at the cost of time until next blink. I DESPISE looking down and losing sight of whomever i was chasing so to be able to continue chase at the price of next blink would still be Something. As mentioned, it is difficult to blink on console so if you misstep a blink and completely miss hitting the survivor, a healthy survivor (whom you cant hear) can easily misdirect, ending the chase, during the simple action of the nurse looking down when fatigued.
  • “Hate the player not the game” comes to mind here. While Leatherface’s ability does encourage facecamping, as mentioned, it only guarentees a single kill. Not even then sometimes because a survivor can force him to mess up his action or use a flashlight (or event firecracker) for the save. The same can be said for any killer who can inflict the dieing state and is camping so your real problem is indeed camping which devs have stood by as a strategy.

Hook a survivor in a corner of the map with only trash around, your exposed survivor will fail whatever his skills oOo

By the way, you did not answer to my question too (no need to add more msg)

Thanks for further proving my point about low rank killers. An exposed survivor due to unhooking someone in the corner of a map isnt doomed to fail unless you are facecamping which is a common tactic among low rank killers. Also, it is a highly unlikely scenario and a poor gameplan to hook someone in the corner of a map for a MYC kill. An experienced killer plays the game and adjusts gameplan according to how it is playing out rather than banking on a single scenario to “guarentee” a kill.

As far as answering your question, in all the comments you have made, there was never a “?”. And i will keep adding messages as i please because everytime a message is added, this post is bumped to the front of the page where i want people to see it because it is a genius idea.

With Wraith: you want to start in stealth mode to ambush survivors ... no sense to use the bell at start to say "hey, I am wraith, be careful"

If you want to have survivors in madness 1/2 at start while using MYC :

    • you never played Dr with MYC with efficiency
    • you never faced an efficient Dr with MYC

Make your choice between 1st or 2nd or both possibilities ...

If you want to nerf yourself by not putting survivors in madness to find them (MYC or not), be my guest but that is the whole point of his ability. You arent finding a fully healthy survivor, exposed or not, if they know what theyre doing (aka higher rank). Id say if you didnt know that, you are either low rank or dont play doctor. That or you are one of those killers who just use same perks on every killer to carry you rather than use the killer well. My point being, if you play a Doctor who doesnt use shock therapy, you play a poor doctor. Sorry, not sorry. But like you said, takes 0.5 seconds? YOU can switch at beginning while majority of us dont like we are currently :)

And no high rank killers use Doctor because he is low tier and easy to counter therefore depips a lot.
  • gnehehe said:

Some Dr with MYC perk would disagree

It takes 0.5 sec to switch weapon at start ... not a really difficult thing to do

By contrast, Dr with MYC perk want the exposed survivor to be in madness 0, so they can find him very easily for punishment time ;)

Very easy to switch Wraith to cloak mode too from start but they changed it anyway. Have to hook someone for Make Your Choice and you want that person in madness because theyre easier to find if screaming or having stunt doubles reveal their location. Even if i ran MYC, id still want to start in treatment mode. Makes no sense not to.
  • It is an interesting idea but as mentioned, punishes real disconnects. Even i get home screened on console (rarely but still) sometimes because that bug is still there. Rather, how about joining lobbies is prolonged for however many reports are made against you. Specifically in “unsportsmanlike” category as this would also categorize idling in game, holding game hostage, disconnecting/rage quitting, etc. That means players purposely killing themselves on hook, hiding somewhere whole match, etc. An extra 30 seconds for every 5reports therefore also preventing a group of swf who just didnt like you to join together for reports to punish. Could reset during season reset.
  • So, make the hiding only apply for SWF teams, and applies only until every member of the team is dead. Problem solved. If they're streamers playing SWF, either they're watching their team after they're out, or if they die early and want to leave the match, they can have the people they're playing with tell them afterwards.

Or they like cheating by having their SWF team let them know the killer's perks.

Secondary, less good option: Seeing the killer's perks deprives you of the ability to spectate the match, which is another way SWFers can mildly cheat,.

And there are plenty of perks that routinely surprise even high rank survivors. Like blood warden, which I've only seen survivors play against when they know the killer is running it, because it's too much fun for many people to teabag at a gate when the killer death-hooks somebody and can't possibly get anyone else. Or a well placed Devour Hope totem. One person in the team dies but it hasn't popped yet to the Exposed level, they can warn everybody.

Like i said, the real issue is swf and this suggestion doesnt save that skill gap. There are many other suggestions that can be found within this same forum that do though.
  • The people saying this wouldn't help are all people who do this. Kinda easy to spot them out.

And kind of easy to spot out low rank killers because any high rank knows survivors already counter perks. Or, you know, the facecamping/tunneling killers that target a single person to get one kill in early game somehow because that is the only time this newfound knowledge would hurt the killer.

It will also never fly because streamers play a huge part in the game and they want to know what they played against by end game and arent going to sit around watching other players just to see.

A killer with a pet as M2 or something like that. Pet could track survivors or do the first hit, idk.
Feel free to add more ideas.
How about someone holding a Chucky doll and the body stays put (similar to spirit) while Chucky runs to survivor.  8-)
  • So what you’re saying is that your match is no easier with at least one person dead? So in the scenario they werent destroying dull totems and then they start because they know you have noed, you would be against them stopping their gen rushing to do so? Im sorry but it just looks to me like another insignificant thing we want to nitpick about for not getting our way in matches. A good survivor counters these things regardless if they know or not by hiding in lockers for bbq, healing out of terror radius for nurse’s, busting totems for noed, etc. Distortion tells you what a killer is running easily IN the match, we going to fix that to? This doesnt really solve anything. If swf is your issue, this isnt the solution.

    Here's what I propose:
    1) lower the cost of the cosmetics, anyone who bought cosmetics with either iridescent shards or auric cells before the price drop would be entitled to free auric cells or iridescent shards depending how much money they spent on cosmetics

2)lootboxes, players spend 500ish iridescent shards to buy a lootbox that could have anything from a basic teachable perk to a really nice cosmetic (different lootboxes would cost more iridescent shards depending on rarity)

3)increase the amount of iridescent shards earned when leveling up which would reward the player for playing the game

4)each week or month, the player gets a certain amount of iridescent shards depending on their rank, I believe many people would like this idea because at the moment of writing quiet a few players don't see the point in ranking because their isn't a reward for being good at the game, just a rank
I agree cosmetics need to cost less while killers/survivors and perks costs remain the same. I also think we should get more irredescent for leveling up. Rather than reset amount after hitting 100, keep increasing the amount earned like it was! And i also agree that there should be some kind of reward for seasonal player ranking. At the current cost of anything with irredescent and the fact that it resets every month, even 500 irresdescent for being rank 1 and descending from there would be SOMETHING. People are so adamant about NOT being top rank because of the difficulty and lack of reward that they will purposely derank themselves to have easier, more enjoyable matches. There is no repercussions for such so why wouldnt they? 90% of this is definitely something that should be pushed for.
  • exactly! makes no sense when you want to start everyone’s madness meter before hitting them anyway so they can potentially mess up skill checks when/if they get away
  • Yes! I recently purchased claudette’s hallowed eve apron top only to find out that the graphics mesh with the original skirts so i will have to buy a newer skirt just to fix a graphics problem that i would have known about sooner had i been able to try on her skirts with it in the first place! And there is A Lot i wont even buy because i want cosmetics to match but dont like the entire outfit they ensembled and the piece i like is harder to match to like Meg and Claudette’s long skirts. We should be able to put together outfits and have a total price of outfit listed whilst removing any pieces we dont want in that purchase.
  • I LOVE THIS! A killer versus mode where each tries to get more kills than the other with survivors respawning while survivors are just trying to escape and game ends when they do or a coop mode with killers versus survivors on bloodpoints. Love both.
  • They NEED this. When you are trying out a new killer, you get obliterated playing against your normal rank survivors because you are just taking your first steps learning the killer which isnt very fair. Survivors remain the same but killers all have unique abilities therefore different skill tiers that can take time learning. Ive had game almost since release and STILL havent even tried Hag. Ive played Clown ONCE and was immediately turned off because i got creamed and trolled by survivors just because i didnt know how to play him and had no practice. And to reward even half the bloodpoints is still fair because after all, it’s just bloodpoints.
  • The killer is pretty self explanatory. The archetypical crazy child killer.

Play with me has 2 powers.

Passive: If The Child has not been in a chase for (30) seconds then generators being worked on will fail all skill checks automatically. But will not alert the killer. While this is active, an icon of an angry child will appear on survivors screens.

Active: Activating Play with me creates a "playpen" around The Child, preventing survivors from passing through it for (30) seconds, or until The Child lands a hit.

I like the idea but i have some tweaks. Activating ‘Play with Me’ creates the “playpen” (aka terror radius) and killer can see any survivors auras if they were in playpen and left it without being hit (so similar to freddy’s dream world). Passively, any survivor not in playpen gets small skill check zones and does still alerts upon missing.
Ill admit when i came in here i was expecting a Chucky suggestion. Haha

Interesting idea with the alien on face. Would be even better if you wouldn't be able to take it off by yourself, only other survivor would be able to take it off from you.

That is exactly what i was thinking as well but i didnt want to delve too much into it as devs would need some leeway for their own creative department to decide. Haha
