- You only need 1 survivor of 4 to set up a good boon so the 3 left can keep a good genrush build if they want to.
- Medkits can be depleted, not CoH.
- Yes they would be rats, but wouldn’t it be fun ?? Also a good killer knows totem locations and would eventually end this ######### show lmao. And at the end of the day, it is still better to repair gens than set up boons, even in the current meta, especially if the survivors are good loopers.
- yes. no one's denying this
- cohs can be shattered hoped with your suggestion so it does intrigue me that you go with this line of argument... you can get 2-3 decent speed heals pretty easily off medkits, you don't normally need much more than that in most matches i find, i normally make it through the match just fine with a brown medkit, bandage and butterfly tape because i can get heals off hook/finish half a heal off myself if interrupted with a slight heal speed increase for relatively cheap from bloodwebs
- "but wouldn’t it be fun?" fun is subjective for sure but losing survivors because they have a boon up that i can't find is mildly frustrating. if you find that fun, all power to you.
- "it is still better to repair gens than set up boons, even in the current meta, especially if the survivors are good loopers." obviously yes, which is why 1-2 CoH in a match is super good right now, because they're the best efficiency of healing to looping/gen doing ratio. you have someone do the booning, another guy do the looping, and the others do the gens. it's pretty foolproof unless the looper sucks. most people realize if everyone's booning the game is lost. i am not really sure what you're getting at here tbh. i don't think anyone made the point that everyone is going to be booning, always max you should have is 2 unless you're trolling or are confident to the point of no return.

I think you are underestimating my buffs to Shadowstep, Exponential and Dark Theory.
With my Shadowstep, the aura won’t be shown to the killer. Any good SWF with always use it with CoH. But it’s less genrush perks so that’s good imho.
Dark theory would completely remove the boon sound. Imho that’s uber broken. But it is balanced by Shattered Hope basekit.
I ignored the changes to Shadowstep and Dark Theory because they're really not as relevant to CoH as you think they are tbf.
Why use 2 perks just to hide the aura and boon noise when you can just bring a good medkit, or #########, like you suggested, bringing Distortion instead which isn't attached to a boon, and blocks aura reading outside of the boon radius as well rather than just only in the boon radius? Sure, some people might do double or triple boon including CoH thinking they're geniuses, but they're wasting efficiency just for some thing and dedicating 3/4 of their build just for boons. The only reason gigaboon exists in this day and age is because Shattered Hope is almost never used and isn't basekit. Most people don't want a nearly full boon build with Shattered Hope basekit lol, even if they can hide it all they can.
Plus, I'm going to be honest, Shadowstep's buff you suggest won't change Shadowstep very much. Shattered Hope being basekit humbles Shadowstep's buff enough imo.
Also, imagine indoor maps with Shadowstep (hidden scratches) and now your new buffed Dark Theory (no chime and lower grunts of pain) sounds miserable, honestly. You don't even need CoH with that to make it an awful experience, imagine the DH/Sprint Burst/#########, even Lithe with the muted fast vaults PLUS Dark Theory/Shadowstep rats with a free perk slot of their choice and giga medkits, lol. Lucky Break isn't super off the table with that build because of no bloodstains. Honestly makes me half grateful for CoH knowing in its state right now that it's less of a headache than that'd be. As much as Dark Theory needs a buff with how uncommon "Dark Theory value" is, I think I'd legit rather it be weak than start up THOSE kinds of builds, speaking from both sides of the coin here. I'd honestly even argue it feels borderline masochistic to prefer THAT over 1 or 2 CoH (considering most people don't bring 4 CoH) but you do you
-
i feel if your suggestion got implemented people would just swap coh for a different strong perk and bring a strong medkit, pretty much giving them circle of healing but better anyways and they won't get aura read for doing it
sure, circle of healing blows to go against in decent teams but they're not dumb enough to know medkits aren't strong lol. i think i'd rather go against circle of healing than 4 giga medkits just because people are petty that they can't use coh, but i guess that's my inner wraith main speaking and people healing slower makes me moderately feel better about playing him
plus 4 medkits would be better in the theoretical scenario of the 4 slowdown killer now with basekit shattered hope in general. is next what you project a medkit nerf? i feel with circle of healing nerfed and medkits instead it might be favoured into survivor favour still even with shattered hope basekit, but coh nerf and medkit nerf with shattered hope basekit would just go into killer sided. i doubt they want to write 50 paragraphs explaining why they made solo queue more miserable again lol. maybe we can dream to a point where survivor healing sucks but realistically i don't think it'll ever happen further than slight coh nerfs.
-
PT is a glorified bp perk with a speed increase for doing the less efficient play. Let me have my funny bp perk... I don't even escape that often in solo queue but I like when my characters levels go up :(
-
As much as I would love to play this game without it being gen doing simulator, my defeatist mindset kicks in saying they're probably not looking into new gamemodes for the future, no matter how convincing we are. 😀
-
so you want them to decrease the mmr on one side when a swf joins your lobby or vice versa (?) what in god's name
-
Eh, I don't think I fall under any of these for sure. FOMO sucks and it's kinda a scummy tactic but there's bigger issues, unfortunately, and i don't think they're budging because it makes them money so i'm just kinda in the acceptance phase and will put my energy elsewhere :(

yeah, you don't have any proof. thanks for making that obvious. this is like the 3rd time i've asked and you're still dodging posting it. i guess you've practiced talking out your ass. anyways, i have better things to be doing, go waste someone else's time since that's apparently all you want to be doing today, i actually have plans of enjoying my saturday, thanks

I can snip and paste the comments here, if you'd prefer.
I'm...also not fighting you, mate. No idea why you're taking this as an attack. Tone doesn't carry well online, is it possible you're reading something into my posts that isn't there?
You don't get to say it's...not only completely fine for a survivor to suicide, because 'it's how they have fun' and then go on to say that anyone who disagrees is actually the entitled one - then turn around and say that well, we can't give killers information about who was in an SWF after the match because - and I quote - 'it breeds annoying people'.
No.
Not a chance.
Unless you're massively biased towards the 'survivors can do literally no wrong and killers can do literally no right' mindset that I see...just way too much of in this game, can you not see the incongruity here?
And no, you don't get to do that and then go 'well, if you disagree or point it out then you're literally attacking me and drama stirring'...again, uh-uh. If you make a post or a response on a public forum, so long as they are being courteous and keeping to the rules, you don't get to choose who can respond to you and who can't.
i've given you so many times to post proof and you don't. you claim to have it. post it already, holy ######### dude, you're no different than a ######### stirrer

No...what drama? You have a distinctive name and avatar and I immediately went 'hang on, why do I remember this guy?'. Then I saw that post and went 'uh...wait what's going on?'.
I'm trying to figure out the double standard here.
Surely the 'I can play however I like even if it ruins games and if you're annoyed about it then you're being entitled' thing cuts both ways? If something that's pretty damn close to griefing is perfectly acceptable because 'that's how I have fun'...then what's the concern about someone being salty in postgame?
You seem to be confusing the terms 'drama' and 'disagreement'. But I guess that's something young folks seem to be making a habit of these days.
until you prove i said those things i'm just going to presume you're just drama-stirring, dude. legit even if you did prove it i still want you to leave me alone, genuinely don't want to keep fighting the same person just because you keep arguing with me in every discussion i take part in it's getting tiring dude

I'd love it if people couldn't access your bloody Steam profile through the game (it's literally why I have a private profile and now use anon mode because wow there are some weird people in this game) but you can just enable anon mode to stop that.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3330401#Comment_3330401
Sure...but in that case there's a weird disconnect between developers here.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IACIVXEGQNGO/toxic-mandy-jpg.jpg
Is toxicity something worth avoiding, or is it an integral part of online gaming?
(There's another post that I've literally combed the internet for where the devs say that they want survivors teabagging the killer to feel satisfying, in regards to animation changes, but it is apparently lost to the ether).
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3330287#Comment_3330287
I'm usually reluctant to do this, but it bothers me when someone talks out of both sides of their mouth.
You literally defended suiciding on hook in another thread.
Your reason was, going by the post, it's fine for people to deliberately ruin matches because that's how they have fun, and that anyone who doesn't want their matches ruined is entitled?
I can link it here, if you'd like.
So...suiciding for the hell of it is fine, but you're concerned about killers being a bit salty in postgame.
Gotcha.
way to completely disregard my actual point in my post just to start unnecessary drama from another thread lmao, you really just are mad at me i guess
i genuinely have no idea what you're even talking about, i remember saying the complete opposite on suiciding on hook.
but literally the threads are like weeks old and i've moved past them as i've been extremely sick all week, and i have better things to do than ponder over dbd forum drama so if you're really this mad that you claim to memorize my posts from weeks old threads just to prove a point, honestly you can have it since you want it that badly. i don't care anymore dude. just let it go

The recovery speed is just a visual bug. It doesn't actually slow you down. If you time it with and without sloppy its the same speed. It will just show a red bar that makes it "look" like it's slower.
red bar = bad
it is how it is unfortunately
-
ain't no way this isn't bait. either way, eruption's getting looked into, so big dubs.
-
feels like it'd just be used for toxicity, or bragging rights when you defeat a swf team. all in all, i think it's a bad addition imo, just breeds annoying people
-
i've gone against a hacker w sloppy on, that's all i've seen of sloppy this patch. guess i'm lucky. although the bugged slug recovery speed was super unfun

killer games have been rough for me recently but solo queue for me has been less rough so... i'll take the trade deal honestly

I absolutely do not agree with what is said in this thread for the most part. I stand by what I say the hud icon thing is dumb and takes away the surprise core element of the game! You know even though it's asymmetrical "horror"! You people aren't even trying to make sense of why survivors can suddenly get extra info in the first place. Want to know if a survivor is on a gen or if they're healing, make full screen aura reading perks I dunno
You guys can't tell me how I should be enjoying a game "I" pay for by spending $$. There should be an option for it to be turned on or off at least!

Obviously. Nurse cannot be nerfed because the result would either be that she is still too strong (like it happened two times now) or too weak (which should also not be the goal). Making her M1s be special attacks and nerfing her best Add Ons is surely a step in the right direction, but a stacking Slowdown-Nurse is equally as bad, because she is still breaking the game with her power. And strong Perk Combinations which are good on any Killer (except if they require a lot of M1s) will always be stronger on Nurse. So unless BHVR plans to nerf every Slowdown-Perk AND make every Perk, which is not triggered by an M1-Attack really weak, making her M1s cound as special attacks will be a right step, but too little too late. And I cannot really see them to balance every strong Perk in a way that Nurse cannot use it.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3326658#Comment_3326658
And this is sad. Instead BHVR spends time to release 4 chapters each year instead of slowing down on that side, which gives us forgettable Killers like The Knight or Sadako. They really should go to 3 Chapters each year and take their time to work on other things like Perk Nerfs and Buffs, general gameplay improvements and balance changes (which would include balancing the Nurse to a fun and strong Killer, but not in its current broken state).
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3326689#Comment_3326689
Sure, she will be played less. Some players really relied too much on her broken Add Ons (e.g. a Streamer I know (know, not watch) was a Nurse Main, 13k hours and said that they wont play the Nurse ever again and only for donations... That person was using her with all the strongest Perks and Add Ons all the time). And others will just not play with her, because they think she got "ruined". So we will have a few weeks with less Nurse-players, but once people realize that she is fine and still very strong, we will be back to square one.
idk maybe i'm just not as much of a doomsayer cause i'll gladly take weeks away from nurses idc if she comes back after a break, a break will be heavenly lol
-
i mean it's not like they ever had any intent of making nurse obsolete. a nerf to her is still a nerf, hopefully that means less nurse players i guess
-
can't wait for spring 2023! they did it once, they'll do it again! no stopping the FOMO train!
-
Tons of stairs need to be wider unfortunately. I don't think unless they get tons of video evidence of it being a problem leading to people being camped to death they'll do anything though :( I guess all people can do now when people do this is gens. No more time for heroes.
-
Wait, they really took it out? I thought that maybe would happen but I was hopeful it wouldn't. I don't even use that wiggle anymore I switched to skillchecks because it was easier on my arms but #########. Hopefully they still have it saved somewhere so with backlash they'll put it back in. Such an unnecessary thing for them to do as people clearly still used it 😔

Well. Yes. 4 things is definitely enough for precedent. There are a few more, but they've already been argued to death.
- Removing those masks was patently ridiculous. There was absolutely nothing about them even close to 'blackface' or 'yellowface' that wasn't a massively bad faith logic stretch. I remember asking Mrs. Lost if maybe I just wasn't seeing it (she's north-African) and she got pretty annoyed - because she interpreted the change as the killer going out of their way to only wear white faces, which implies that there's something wrong with other races. Yeah, that one bugs me.
- Meg's cornrow hair is probably the most obnoxious of the ones you listed, because 'cultural appropriation' is a fringe theory and even then, one that people have massively expanded out past it's initial intention. The person who coined it has gone on the record as saying they regret even mentioning it, because it was never intended to be used to attack people for the pettiest faux-pas or even just enjoying music and fashion from other cultures. Was it removed though?
- Legion's 'suicide' weapon. Yeah, that's silly but I don't care much about it as - in the right light - you could make an argument that it makes the game easier to stream.
- This one...eh. BHVR say it's a self harm thing, but that's not where my mind goes on this one. Once again - I don't really care.
I cannot possibly understand how changing these 4 things is remotely arguable or even massive and the game's functioning fine without them.
The latter two changes are a nontroversy. I don't care.
The first two changes...it comes down to people self-censoring and changing their artistic vision in order to be as inoffensive as possible, leading to very bland art.
I have yet to even find one of these scenarios that happened to be any sort of importance
This is a videogame. None of this is important. It's all just a distraction, something to pass the time between cradle and grave. But it was clearly important enough for you to respond to.
they're all minor changes that don't take that much time to fix, and are changes that make people happier and comfier to play the game
Do they? Which people, exactly? Because, again this was a nontroversy to me and the handful of asian/black folks that I've asked directly about this are more annoyed that the masks were removed.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3325764#Comment_3325764
You can have empathy for someone who is treated poorly while still being frustrated at deliberately uncharitable takes like Meg's hairstyle being offensive, weird discourse like Tapp, Trickster or Jonah being problematic or the Bubba masks being yoinked, which could be interpreted in a very different way.
I don't think anyone's not over it, but yeah, it's still something that I think a lot of folks disagree with, me included.
"Because, again this was a nontroversy to me and the handful of asian/black folks that I've asked directly about this are more annoyed that the masks were removed."
And, I've seen many Asian/Black folks also say they're glad it's removed. Why do the people you've interacted to hold more value over the people bothered? Not everyone has to be bothered by something for it to be an issue. The fact that you're even arguing this is ridiculous.
"Meg's cornrow hair is probably the most obnoxious of the ones you listed, because 'cultural appropriation' is a fringe theory and even then, one that people have massively expanded out past it's initial intention"
Wrong one. I was talking the scenario about the description change - I do not think her hairstyle was changed and have 0 idea what person you're even talking about tbf, even if it's the same person regardless it was such a minor description change it's hardly even worth mentioning further. Cultural appropriation isn't something I care about to argue with a DBD forum anyways, as most people who play this game probably don't even know how to turn their oven on, so I doubt any conversation on that topic would be remotely intelligible or beneficial.
"I remember asking Mrs. Lost if maybe I just wasn't seeing it (she's north-African) and she got pretty annoyed - because she interpreted the change as the killer going out of their way to only wear white faces, which implies that there's something wrong with other races. Yeah, that one bugs me."
Cool. 2 people don't speak for everyone, unfortunately. Pretty sure DBD passed the threshold of 2 players many, many years ago, but thanks for your own and her input.
"The latter two changes are a nontroversy. I don't care."
To speak your own words back to you: "But it was clearly important enough for you to respond to." Shame you don't care yet still talk. Bark bark.
"The first two changes...it comes down to people self-censoring and changing their artistic vision in order to be as inoffensive as possible, leading to very bland art."
The Bubba masks deserved to go. No weaseling your way out of it. Stop.
And the Meg hairstyle was a description change. The majority of players wouldn't have even noticed, and the people who it was important to it was changed for. It's honestly pretty obnoxious to watch you white knight over a description of one of Meg's worst looking hairpiece cosmetics just because you want its "artistic vision" to be preserved. Dear God. For someone who doesn't give a #########, you clearly seem to give a #########. Good lord and good riddance.

No, I mean, think about it.
You can see the Entity Progression of a hooked Survivor, meaning you know when to return back to the hook and Camp to confirm a Hook State/Kill, yet BHVR never removes it because "it encourages camping".
You can see the Bleedout Progression of a Survivor in the Dying State, meaning you can basically just Slug a Survivor to death if you know they are already close to dying from Bleedout Progression.
Yet BHVR makes this odd case where seeing the Hook Count for individual Survivors will encourage Tunneling when it really doesnt. If a Killer is going to tunnel a Survivor out of the game, 99.9% of the time they are counting the Hook Stages anyways, it's not like it will magically change things to have an individual Hook Count for Survivors.
And again, there are other systems and information that Killers have that just encourage other "distasteful" strategies anyways, Im not sure why BHVR makes a special case for Tunneling (or ignores other systems). For me personally, it just makes it more difficult to space out hooks between Survivors so half the time I just accidently get a Survivor out of the match when I dont want to.
honestly, good question. i have ######### for brains memory and when a survivor dies on hook when i didn't mean for them to because i couldn't remember what stage they were on, it honestly kinda blows. either bhvr fixes my memory or they add the hook counter, whichever one's easier for them. i'm waiting

Shrug.
The word of the day is 'precedent'.
Also...huh, your name sounds familiar. Not sure why.
I only remember approximately 4 things that can even count as this kind of "precedent" you talk about.
Bubba's Claudette mask, Meg's cornrow hair description, Legion's "suicide blade" and now Saloon's map icon.
I cannot possibly understand how changing these 4 things is remotely arguable or even massive and the game's functioning fine without them. Plus, I have yet to even find one of these scenarios that happened to be any sort of importance as they're all minor changes that don't take that much time to fix, and are changes that make people happier and comfier to play the game🙂. Nyarrr...frrr...(other non committal noises) - yeah I have no horse in this race. I've struggled with depression and had a family member die to suicide via a rope and it would never have occurred to me that simply showing the icon of a historical noose was so deeply problematic.
On one hand, my initial take was that they removed it due to...another connotation, and I'd just got done trying to explain to a group of students online that a film director with the last name starting with 'L' and rhyming with 'pinch' is not an example of any sort of systemic issue in the USA.
On the other hand, the slippery slope isn't always a fallacy, and if you start sanding off the rough edges of your horror game because they might offend/upset/make someone uncomfortable - sooner or later you'll have nothing left. I mean, as others have pointed out - you're going to have to change a lot of stuff if you want to go down this road.
But yeah, this is a storm in a teacup and as long as it starts and ends here, I don't care.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3324968#Comment_3324968
Because on one hand it's quite petty, but on the other - well, now you sort of have to keep removing and changing things because that's the precedent you've established.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3325276#Comment_3325276
I guess I'm just something of a purist, and once you start changing things because they might be offensive or upsetting to someone, you never stop.
I mean off the top of my head I've seen:
- Complaints about spider charms worrying arachnophobes.
- Complaints about Plague's puking bothering emetophobes.
- Lots of 'cultural appropriation' stuff, especially around Trickster, Artist and Spirit.
- Tapp, Jonah and a few other survivors being problematic because...uhh, police and I'm ending that thought right there.
I'm sure I can think of plenty more.
It's that icon from FFXIV again. It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it's still a bit eye-rolly.
Your own imagination of what will happen next that won't happen is amusing. All they did was change an icon. Relax. Breathe.
-
Dredge followed close behind by Clown/Plague. Their powers make me not feel well plus their gameplay loop is super boring for me. 😕 If I'm playing with other people I feel ######### going next over killers even if they make me feel sick because for most people they don't feel sick playing against them so I'm in the minority so I give them a chance.
-
god people still care about the saloon map offering icon change? i thought y'all got over it, i guess not 🤨 some of y'all really feel the need to complain to complain, huh
-
idk if i agree with any of these, i think the best start is making yellow engraving basekit/1 chainsaw heat cooling addon basekit and maybe go from there? maybe i'm biased as i don't have too much fun against hillbilly and don't actually want to face against too many of them (chases w em just aren't as fun to me anymore) but he does need a buff to his basekit regardless cause he's in bit of a sad state rn.

Who could've had even less bias here, than a wraith main? Pure and immaculate objectivity without a doubt. I personally don't play killers much. But when I do and want to win, I pick Wraith. I experience with him zero complications described here. As a survivor, I hate going against him, because of all stealth killers he's the fastest and controls the map with ease. I dunno what all this lightburn whining is about. It's all created out of thin air.
"Who could've had even less bias here, than a wraith main? Pure and immaculate objectivity without a doubt."
idk if you picked it up but i was joking it's hard to tell through your snarkiness if you did or not 🤷
"I dunno what all this lightburn whining is about. It's all created out of thin air."
i didn't whine about lightburn, i even said i very rarely get it. all i think is it shouldn't be there, which isn't really an unreasonable request as when it does happen all it does is make a mediocre killer worse. it's not like wraith would be god tier with no lightburn lol. the OP might just be newer to wraith and it makes them more frustrated but their annoyance with it existing is still valid imo.
-
as a wraith main i heavily agree with no bias whatsoever
no but actually though, i'm surprised wraith has such a weakness. even though i get lightburned maybe one out of 30 games (not many people bring flashlights or don't attempt to lightburn) i'm surprised that such a mediocre killer even has that downside balance wise.
the uncloak speed addon has saved me from getting burned a couple times when they just aim their fl at me like a wacky inflatable tube man so i can get out of cloak and a free hit but i find it amazing it's even a thing in the first place. i get it's like lore accurate or something that wraith hates getting burned or whatever but holy #########, lmao. he gets a long stun if you're stunned while cloaked too so he has TWO longer stun animations from game mechanics like let my man Philip exist peacefully
-
i thought sloppy butcher had a small chance to insta down the survivor hit. i was watching friends play bubba and saw some survivors instantly go down and some survivors not instantly go down and saw sloppy butcher was equipped and went 1 + 1 = 3. they told me it was a good perk. further research into the perk... it absolutely does not work that way

Still better than being a man down. When a survior DCs early (which is most DCs) the team has zero chance anyway. Literally only 2 killers, oni and myers get a marginal advantage from farming stuff from a bot.
And using the bot to keep last survivor in the game? If a killer is sweating that hard for a 4k they will simply slug. Or even do it with a live survivor. I've did that yesterday to catch someone who'd been hiding all game lol.
There's no real downside to popping a bot in to replace a ragequit. On the same hook states of course
absolutely not better than being a man down, i would rather go next in a 3v1 than have a bot as a 4th player because we'd still be boned, have you SEEN them go straight to corners and loop corner tiles 🤨 the ai is just not strong enough yet to replace a human player in a killer-favourable scenario, i'm sorry
PLUS i can already hear the shaming for going next AFTER bot backfill because "bloodpoints" and "the game's still winnable" :/ it will just make 3v1 scenarios more toxic and will cause infighting over mediocre ai that can't carry the weight of a regular person

Clown, Trickster, Trapper, Onyro, Freddy. And I think there's a case to be made that Pig, Knight, Ghostface worse but not as much as the first 5.
opinions are definitely opinions but it is a bit interesting that trickster is bottom 5 below pig, knight and ghostface, not even an or
😔 i think he's mid at best too but damn
-
which 5 do you put under myers then

comparing dh to a perk that cancels out pallet stuns is interesting. do you mean they drop the pallet but because you have the perk up the pallet just ceases to exist and you get a free hit? or do you mean just no stun on pallets. i get dh is annoying but a free hit perk sounds just immensely just not balanced to go against i'm ngl. not sure about the deactivation part devaluing it cause it's late at night and i can barely think rn but i'm sure there's better ideas out there for better killer perks than just "enduring but different"
-
this post REALLY brought a lot of killer players out of their cave because they need to die on this hill together ☺️ i don't really care if eruption is nerfed or not but it is kinda funny how hard people defend this perk (almost like they might need it to win cough cough)
-
maaaaan don't make more people run merciless storm
i have bad reaction time because of my nerves acting up and when i miss merciless storm everyone in proximity looks at me like i'm the worst player to ever exist and it makes me sad for 5 whole seconds
-
would rather play against 4 slowdowns than be lying on the ground for 3 minutes but nice try

I'm guessing this is solo queue? Solo queue is rough, no doubts about it. Without competence in your 3/4 teammates you're pretty #########. But, that's not really a new thing tbf. I guess all we can hope is the HUD changes help solo queuers have chimps instead of monkeys for teammates.
-
I mean really, it does surprise me how much these threads get traction. I guess they're for rage baiting. It's not like you guys do anything to stop people giving up by using the tactic of blaming the user and making them look like an #########. If you refuse to meet someone halfway and get mad at them when they don't bend over to your side at will, you're never going to change anyone's mind. So why, on Earth, do you people still make these threads? Is it attention? Boredom? Or do you SERIOUSLY think it'll work?

The sweaters going i'm not TOO pressed over, definitely FOMO and a ######### tactic but at LEAST they are seasonal. But the fact they removed PAJAMAS is ridiculous. Since when is wearing pajamas winter time only? Do these people making these decisions even wear pajamas? For shame. I will wear my Zarina onesie whenever the hell I feel like it because it's ADORABLE and other people should have the right to purchase it at any point in the year! (I forget if Zarina's onesie was even removed. All I know is I got it on winter sale.)

Awwwww. Gwandpaw is angwy.
Think about this Gwamps: YOU KNOW what makes players quit. I’ll spell it out anyway: OP builds, cheap killer play, bad teammates. This is probably 80% of the reason for quits. I’ll say the other 20% is being petulant because they got found early or didn’t like the map or didnt want to face their 5th Wesker in a row… So about that 80%, and getting back to the fact that YOU KNOW this is why players quit… if killers want to minimize quits:
- Stop loading into games with OPAF builds (Nurse, Blight, your “magic build” on other killers where you run your map and the best perks and addons that make you damn near invincible)
- Stop running lethal pursuer with an extreme mobility killer that downs someone in seconds and then steamrolls with BBQ or whatever
- Stop camping and tunnelling and ruining peoples games because you want to be as oppressive as possible vs a team that is likely a bunch of mismatched solos already at a disadvantage.
Solo survivors are sick of being reamed sideways because killer players are getting spoon fed wins. How easy is it to find survivors now? Every killer has access to like 100 aura perks and addons. How many killers have extreme mobility? How many have “magic builds” where they’re pretty much guaranteed a win? Killers have 100 ways to 1 hit now and slow down gens and find survivors, often simultaneously with one perk doing multiple things. Meanwhile any concept of survivor stealth is GONE. It’s all just about running and trying to get gens done fast which is damn near impossible with OP extreme mobility killers running aura perks and gen slow downs vs a ragtag team of mismatched survivors.
Solo survivors play as one post above described: they join hoping for a fun game. But when faced with OP BS and/or horrible teammates they often leave and move on to try and find a fairer match. So take some responsibility and play fair. BHVR isn’t going to do anything to help the situation so try looking at how YOU contribute and change THAT and see what happens.

Won't happen. Why should Killers be forced into longer queue times just because Survivors want to avoid certain Killers?
Nurse and Blight players would literally never get a match.
i feel like there's at least 4 people on at all times that want to go against a nurse or blight, me included (not nurse though) so you're a little overdramatic with that 'literally never', although I do get that their queues would be considerably longer because if people had the option to not go against the top 2 killers they probably would pick it
