Picture this: eventually killer queues will be 30 minutes for a single match. In those matches, the games will be over in 5 minutes or less because the killer has so much going for them, and the survivors that are selected for the lobbies have magnitudes of hours less than the killer because the matchmaker has included 100% of the playerbase, new players included, because the queue is taking too long. Nobody has fun, not even the killers. But hey, at least that minimum 60% kill rate all the way down the killer spreadsheet looks great!

I'm really looking forward to it xD

The stats show 2v8 had a 45% escape rate for the two most played classes and it felt much better for survivors. You rarely saw the level of dc'ing and giving up as in 1v4 because survivors could actually make a comeback. The matches also never felt over within the first 2 minutes like it so often does in 1v4. This is why so many survivors are asking for 2v8 to come back and want it to be permanent.

My point is if the devs want killer to be the power role, why such a massive advantage with the arbitrary 60/40 number. 55/45 arguably feels much better for both sides, not only for survivors but also for killers because with the 60% kill rate the games feel too easy for killer much of the time.

In my opinion, the thing that needs to be done to reduce the killrate is that there aren't enough players playing Survivor, after that they will think that my Survivor game design is really messy and I have to do something or buff the Survivor so that lots of people want to play it again. it will be very difficult to do this because the majority of the player base are survivors.

This is a false argument because those long waits were before they added a bp bonus. Right now killer has a much longer wait most of the day, in EU survivor is at 150% bp bonus most of the day. Solo Q is practically unplayable with how killer sided the game has become.

yes, we all know. if people are used to playing killer they will win in most games, over the last few months I've seen frustrated posts from survivor players especially soloq, but they probably don't care because a 60% kill rate is fair to them. at this point screaming for survivor balance is the same as talking to a wall.

What's your opinion on a Survivor killing themselves on hook? Do you understand it when a group runs into a sweaty Huntress who slugs everyone or a Knight who three gens from the start? Or do you think people should tough it out no matter what?

is something that usually happens, if you look at the current balance of the game.

As someone with over 127 days played in this game, never have I been this annoyed with Solo Que.

I play solo que Survivor by far the most and honestly its gotten pretty annoying bad. So bad so the first time in 6 years I dont care to have all survivors and killers.

Mind you I was red rank Survivor in my first two years. Don't know if just sweats play these days. But DBD is just done for me. From the frequent tunneling (thanks in large part to the 3-4 second DS nerf) To the Pay to Win Killers. Solo Surviv Que is just bad.

I think this discussion is better understood by people who have played for years in solo queue, I also feel bro how chaotic the solo queue is now, very different from years ago. Stay strong even though you often lose xD

  • we all know that this game is killer sided!

  • lol, I laughed when I saw this post.. if they did that there would be more survivors who would give up and go next.

Oof so the game is just overall tipping killer sided even at the high mmr… So do you think the Dev's are purposefully tilting the scales that direction?

of course, if people are less interested in playing killer they will buff the killer like the current balance where the balance is in favor of the killer so they can have fun, and conversely if the survivor is rarely played they will buff the survivor.

I'm never playing survivor again. It's bad for mental health.

this game really makes survivors lose more often, my advice to you is that every second is very valuable... always touch gen when you are not being chased or idle, in the current meta genrush is there because if your team doesn't do genrush it is certain that the game will be difficult and chances are your team will lose.

Amma keep it real simple, 6.1 to this recent patch is the reason. Pretty positive people know what those reasons are. Also for the love of god please stop thinking its solo que who is suffering, casual swfs also is suffering, one of them major thing is as example use to have 50+ friends to always swf up with but being down to 2 to 0 because everyone has moved on to other games, I tell you if I was not such a sucker for glams and things in these rifts pass I would be long gone. The riff pass keep holding me back.

that's right, I stayed in this game because the last 2 rift pass had good cosmetics xD.

Killers are way to overpowered it's no fun to play survivor anymore, because all the killers play exactly the same as though they never got buffed, we would like to get more than 11k blood points per trail because of killers who end up getting blood points for playing sweaty.

I know your pain man... small maps, difficult loop, bad matchmaking, tunneling and much more. just enjoy your game man this is what the developers wanted. so don't be surprised that many people are dc and commit suicide xD

So new TOME ..150% survivor bonus so far 3 hours. Wait time for game is 7 min …most longer as only 3 survivors are in. Tell me again the role of survivor isnt becoming more and more unpopular to play. I just got Sable to level 4.… Not one party streamer, not one commodious toolbox. So now we are taking away add ons on see. That's smart

in my area the incentive for killers only exists at night and that is only for a few hours, I play on an Asian server.

I don't know what is going on today, but today I wanted to do killer challenges and have some fun chases…

But as soon as I load up - there are 1-2 survivor players instantly leaving the match, it happening so often today, I know the reason why are they leaving, and I felt like… Let's have a "final" conversation on that part…

I'm not going to create anymore similar threads about it personally, and this is my message to this topic:

Dear survivor players - if you q-ed up to a match - be ready to face ANY killer from the whole cast of characters. Do not expect to face only killers that YOU like.

Leaving from a match as soon as you heard a hatchet, or saw a xeno's stations or etc - Is just bad, spineless, low and embarrassing towards your fellow teammates.

If you play as a survivor - first and foremost - you are a team player. Put your ego and preferences aside and think about other 3 or 2 players in your team and how your bad action is going to affect other players experience. If you don't care about other players in your team - don't play as a survivor, it's not for you.

Have some moral principles and basic respect to other players, not only other survivors, but also the killer. I'm playing both sides, I also have killers that I hate to face, but you will never find me DC as soon as I saw them, nor you'll find me DC if the match is going wrong. I have respect to other players and I want everyone in my team have a good time and I want to be useful to my team - this is why I play survivors regularly.

The mentality like this (DC first seconds of the match) - hurting the game. Hurting the experience, and creating a negative impression in new players about the game.

Pay some respect to other people that you play with. If you can't, don't want to, or don't care - don't play in a team, play as a killer alone.

Much love to all of you guys, sorry if I was a bit harsh, and have a beautiful day\evening. ❤❤❤

bro didn't know that soloq was completely destroyed, on average dbd is played by soloq and it's so frustrating it makes people want to dc and go next. I really appreciate people who can win 5 out of 10 Soloq survivor matches.

  • I prefer the option to show and hide prestige in settings, even at the end of the game prestige is still hidden.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Full honesty? The game does not respect the player's time. At least half of solo survivor games are complete throwaways, and that's being conservative. The game doesn't have more players because no matter how hard you try, half of your games are pointless with zero potential outcome variance or ability to affect the outcome as a solo survivor. You were put in that match to lose. Queue times and backfills are favored to an absurd degree at the expense of match quality.

That's right guys, this game is completely broken for solo survivor play. I'm a solo survivor main player and have really cut down on my dbd playing hours over the last few months.

  • When BHVR realizes that the survivor population is decreasing, they will buff the survivors so that more people will play it again.

  • I've often seen posts like this on forums, and they usually end up like talking to a wall.

  • Of course survivors need buffs. In my opinion, survivors need basekit buffs, namely Kindred basekit (very good for Soloq) and OTR basekit (tunnel).

I'm sure if the developer improves the matchmaking system, map design and adds the basekit that I mentioned above the quality of the survivor gameplay will improve and reduce the suicide rate on the hook, but the problem is the rampage of the main killer they will post their whining on this forum that survivor needs nerf, survivor is too strong, removed basekit because it is too broken.

I know I'm screaming at the wall, I play both sides (70% survivor - 30% killer) which I play soloq more often and I know what the problem is with soloq.

  • Soloq is a joke and that's what the developers wanted. If I play killer and meet soloq I will win easily, if I play killer meeting average swf I just tunnel and will win easily. That's the developer's design with its level of balance, playing soloq is so frustrating from day to day.

  • My escape rate as a survivor is 2 out of 10 games, honestly I think what makes this game bad is the tunneling, stupid map design and matchmaking (I'm a survivor with 2k hours of matchmaking by people who just installed dbd 1-3 months ago)
