It is not punishable nor is it against the game rules.

I was being sarcastic... lol.. the fact that ya think it's cool is the problem

Please also note the Forum Rules do not allow for the encouragement or endorsement of negative gameplay behaviors, such as DCing.

    Is slugging a negative behavior?

In what world does this logic make any sense?

It's a perk. With this logic nothing was ever supposed to get nerfed, because I can pick whatever strong mechanic on other side and say it's fair.

You got shack we have bloodlust 3. So by this bloodlust is already taken. How did MFT got into it?

Bottom line bloodlust is getting nerf is gonna happen ... if ya complain about survivors getting haste ... then I'm complaining about ya getting haste.. its simple 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

Bloodlust is ingame mechanic. It's like complaining about survivors have longer chase, because they can vault windows for free...

How the hell you think it's equal to compare with a perk?

Just fact that you can compare it, means that perk is busted.

Perks should never been on level of base mechanics, because that means they are too impactful.

Bloodlust is outdated and not needed.. let's get rid of it.. so we can see those killers skills we've been hearing about

  • Only if we also nerf killers m2 ability

  • @Orthane said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/382015/made-for-this-has-got-to-change

It should simply be changed to a utility tank perk, faster healing speed while injured and keep the endurance.

They will complain about that to..🤣

    Lot of killers?

If it's not a factor, it means bloodlust was made for those killers in mind, because they have no power to end the chase.

I couldn't care less about bloodlust 3, that's an overkill. But current bad map designs simply don't allow complete removal of bloodlust.

Then mft can stay cause survivors are victims of bad map design too

Bloodlust doesn't even take up a perk slot.

If people are going to claim incessantly that dead hard was/is a 'free' health state with 5 or more different restrictions and conditions to it's use, then bloodlust is the freest free that's ever free'd in this game.

    Bingo..👏👏

That's weird I hear survivors making excuses for things to get nerfed in this game way more than any killers

You're definitely lying..lol.. all ya do is cry about single perks.. if survivors are complaining about something it's usually a unfair in game mechanic that almost guarantees a down or a sacrifice ( camping and slugging)

  • @DaddyMyers_Mori said:

    bloodlust is "free"?

Bloodlust means I am playing without my power and ignore pallets. Doesn't seem free to me.

Definitely free.. if it's such a non factor to alot of killers then let's get rid of bloodlust right?

  • @DaddyMyers_Mori said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3479601#Comment_3479601

you think getting looped for 5 gens is fun?

Sure, cleansing is counter to NOED and Undying. Yet it was nerfed, because survivors can't be bothered to find a totem.

Best way to counter MFT is to play killer that doesn't care about 3%. I don't know about you, but perk that makes me stop playing certain killers don't seem to be well designed.

If you are fine with "don't play that killer" (Plague, Legion, Doctor), then "just play SWF" becomes valid too.

If you getting looped for 5 gen then that's a skill issue

Mft does not stop you from playing certain killers you choose to stop playing certain killers... skill issue once again

  • @Crowman said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3479643#Comment_3479643

Bloodlust is "free" if you ignore your power and pallets to force it out. The fact is bloodlust hardly ever comes up and I really don't encounter killers trying to force bloodlust for hits, because you will lose the game if you do that.

MFT is free, because being injured as a survivor is just something that happens no matter what you do.

I know you'll never actually understand the difference.

So what your saying is bloodlust is free?

  • @Crowman said:

Bloodlust kicks in 15 seconds in a chase without using your power or breaking a wall/pallet. Killers really don't hit bloodlust that often, because the circumstances that require it to happen are rare outside of some killers who lack a power to use in chase.

Comparing MFT a perk that is always active when the easiest to meet condition is obtained to an effect that is there to help in situations where the killer has no other option to keep chasing without breaking pallets or using their power just shows how out of touch you are.

What are you talking about.. mft you have to be injured??? Survivors are at a disadvantage and bloodlust is easy to meet just follow a survivor long enough .. 🤣

  • @TheRealConsent said:

Bloodlust is countered by breaking pallets and hitting survivors.

If a killer has to bloodlust farm to get a hit, you've already outlived the lifespan of that chase. Be glad you lasted that long, and move on.

Dbd is a game where survivors are MEANT to lose chases. It's a matter of how fast you lose them so that your team can finish generators before you're out of hook stages.

Well mft is meant to give survivors a fighting chance in a chase..accept it an move on🤷🏿‍♂️

Dishonest about displaying survivors as the only side that needs to adapt and they are not really good at it anyway.

I haven't seen survivors adapt to kick gen meta, or 3-gen in general...

I haven't seen survivors adapt to cleansing all totems against NOED, or Undying...

Surprise, all perks for this got nerfed and will get nerfed more.

If you think 3 gens and kick gen meta is fun for anyone you are weird my friend.. 45 min games just kicking gens.. thats cringe at its finest

Also cleansing is a counter to noed and undying they're many ways to counter mft is 3%.. 🤣

  • @Seraphor said:

Or how about we nerf neither of them.

Bloodlust serves an important purpose. Killer is the power role, which among other things means that no single survivor should be able to run them indefinitely without the use of map resources aka pallets. It's a 1v4, not a 1v1.

It also serves as an inbuilt counter to MFT.

Well the way things are going.. mft is gonna get nerf because killers keep complaining, so to be "fair" to everybody since mft is not fair to killers.. let's nerf bloodlust to to make it "fair" to survivors.. whats the word killers use all the time "compensation" let survivors get compensation for a solid perk getting nerfed just cause

  • @Undercorsair said:

Well its 20% longer chases for an M1 killer from the math I've seen in a lot of content creators who comment about it, I am not an expert at all but it does feel like that for sure.

    Also,

all the meta perk killer had lately have been nerfed for quite some time, I am thinking of what I was running before in CoB and Overcharge.

So I feel this argument isn't exactly... honest.

both side had major nerfs lately.

But MFT is a completely new perk, I don't see any perks from the singularity making any waves either... so yeah.

How is dishonest??? So survivor didn't have to adjust to those heavy nerfs?

  • @[Deleted User] said:

You guys really need to get over that perk it's literally fine. It's a new playstyle adjust to it and move on....

Right.. survivors had to adjust to patch 6.1,flashlight nerf, self healing nerf but 3% is the worst ######### ever 😆

  • @UndeddJester said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3479239#Comment_3479239

    It's not just 3%.

It's 3% on top of the survivors base speed, which is 4.0m/s. This means the survivor is now at 4.12 m/s.

Your average killer is 4.6 m/s, which is 15% more than the survivors base speed.

This means your relative gain on the killers speed is actually 20% (0.12 / 0.6 = 0.2), and speed translates to distance. So the further you are from the killer when you start running, the more distance you're gonna make up when the killer chases you.

    Spoiler Spoiler Warning ▲ ▼

A lot of people say that killer bloodlust is unfair, each proc the killers get a 0.2m/s speed boost. Compared to the survivor base speed, each tier of bloodlust is a 5% boost. That means the killer relative gain vs. their normal speed boost over the survivor is 33%.

Here's the difference, a survivor has a smaller hit box and can hug around structures easier. They have windows and pallets to give paths the killer can't take as efficiently... and the killers lose ALL bloodlust if they hit a survivor, or break a pallet.

MFT does not stop working... ever... it makes it easier to reach pallets, it makes looping around pallet structures easier because it amplifies the benefits of smaller hitboxes and the strength of vaulting pallets, it forces the killer to break pallets more often to break the loop, thus forcing them to lose bloodlust and have to build it up again more often. Then you get the problem of body blocking, protection hits, and the fact the protector can have MFT as well, just exaggerating the problem further.

What do all the weak chase killers have in common? No built in mechanism to deal with pallets and windows othercthan mind games. The strong chasers ignore pallets and donetimes windows. Bloodlust is a mechanic that helps weak chase killers catch up. The strongest killer characters don't really need it, as they have good chase already.

Conclusion: MFT hurts the killers that already struggle in chase as is. If you want everyone to play Wesker, Blight, Spirit, Nurse and alike, by all means keep it. However don't complain when this is all you face, cause MFT ensures it.

It's 3%... I'm sorry you're not gonna get me to feel bad for killers over 3%.. on top of that survivors are at a disadvantage when they are injured. So mft is a high risk good reward perk. Killer got a m1 ,m2(with addons),bloodlust and baskit buffs.you have more than enough to counter any survivor. So back to what I said you might just suck and instead of excepting that killers like your self play victim. Survivors for the most part aren't that good at the game. Most of us don't even survive our matches. So when does it stop being survivors are op and its starts being I'm not that good at killer

  • @Seraphor said:

This sounds like an awesome event item actually. But make it available for both survivors and killers.

Survivors get a one time use item (maybe with charges or a recharge mechanic), while killers get a 'Blighted Serum' version that allows them to use it instead of their power after a hook.

I like it.. but I want it in game not just event

  • @Nash said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3479008#Comment_3479008

Can I rephrase that into 'toolboxes and bnps are not op as survivors don't do gens' ? Also can I say 'blight's compound 33 isn't op as it gives you the hindered effect and MFT gives you the speed boost so they are all balanced' ? If you are suggesting bad players can't play well equipping the perk as a proof to the game balancing then you are biased.

I am biased.... so what .. its only 3%🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

  • @UndeddJester said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3479008#Comment_3479008

You do realise you are defending the strength of this perk by saying most players are not good enough to use it?

You have heard of Nurse right? Did you agree with all the Killers saying that Nurse was fine because she is hard? Clearly there is an issue here.

Nurse has one of the lowest kill rates in the game... but in the right hands she is a monster, and has had to be nerfed repeatedly to where she is now.

MFT is the survivor equivalent. In a bad players hands the perk basically does nothing, just like your baby Nurses getting 1 or 0 hooks and a 4 escape... but in a competant players hands it's very strong, and in the best players hands, it's basically untouchable.

It's 3%..lmaoo.. sounds like people are making excuses for them sucking..🤷🏿‍♂️.. if you nerf bloodlust then we can nurf mft

  • @THE_Crazy_Hyena said:

Clown bottles for survivors does ACTUALLY sound like a lot of fun, as well as being totally crazy.

I mean, such a feature could be implemented in a similar way to flashbangs, where you have to do a prerequisite task (be it 50% of a generator, or healing a teammate for one health state), and then craft it while standing in a locker.

It doesn't need to have too strong of effects, but they would definitely need a different color to discern them from the actual Clown bottles.

So to take the idea up one notch, here's my take on the idea:

Item: Stolen Bottles (Iridescent) - Start the trial with 1 "Clown bottle" in your inventory. You toss it with the secondary action key (M2 by default).

Grants the ability to craft "The Afterpiece Tonic" while being in a locker for 1 second.

The ability to craft this item will activate after you have completed 60% of a generator's repairs, or after healing one health state of another Survivor. This can occur two times during the trial.

Upon tossing the bottle, it will break upon impact on the ground, spreading a green cloud of gas that only affects killers.

    • Applies a 10% Hindered status effect and blurs the vision of the killer while they are inside the gas cloud. The effect lingers for 3 seconds after leaving it.

"Not that overpowered to be honest, but it does sound like a lot of fun as well as an interesting take on consumable items"

I like it.. if we introduce more items in the game survivors dont have to depend on perks solely to survive and it would introduce new gameplay styles

  • @jeffkillsyou96 said:

Oh sure can survivors mori the killers to?

    That would be dope actually

  • It's funny seeing killers complain about mft... when most survivors aren't even that good and die with in seconds of being chase( me included).. its 3% if you’re losing to that.. then you might just suck🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

  • Don't dc just get grabbed off a generator and suicide on hook.. you're good

  • So far I've been enjoying the interactions.. win or lose.. so far fun

  • I swear killers want this game to be easy.. no challange.. pathetic.. its 3% ... killers have bloodlust that give them haste overtime with little to no requirement

  • Idk why killers think they need to be compensated for everything.. survivors get nerfed all the time with no compensation

  • Wow.. this post aged well...😆😆😆

  • we should definitely punish the killer for camping.. nobody cares about you trying to win

  • @Yoshirama said:

So people will complain until every exhaustion perk is nerfed to the ground?

Pretty much.. survivors can't have anything

  • I find it funny people are complaining about this.. if people want to leave the game they should have the option.

  • It don't matter ..they are just going to nerf it. Because meta shake up or some dumb sh!t

Or better yet take advantage of them genrushing and run rancor + game afoot + remember me + NWO

I'm surprised no way out hasn't been meta to be honest...

On survivor bg player, saboteur, breakout and one of heal perks (botany, we will make it, inner healing, maaaaybe pharmacy if they make the time a little more reasonable).

On killer depends on which one, but it will cycle between nowhere to hide+dragon's grip alternative darkness revealed+bamboozle, pain res and corrupt. Also jolt is quite underrated IMO. The fact that gens that explode give notification makes the perk good info too. I will be using it on most m1 killers

I've died to no where to hide so many times..smh and botany might have to go in my loadout

  • @WesCravenFan said:

My standard loadout lately has been:

Lethal Pursuer, Nowhere To Hide, Spies From the Shadows, and the 4th perk is whatever will help me complete whatever tome challenge I am currently working on.

You asked, I answered. That's what I'll be running, because there's nothing else left to run. Survivors whined and complained until this was the only build that can realistically compete with decent survivors.

Lol.. compete ??? its a party game relax.. this aint the Olympics... im mad at some of the changes but it's a video game calm down. Your load out aint bad... definitely will help with slowdown

  • @Mr2ThumbsFGC said:

No Way Out, Corrupt, Deadlock and either STBFL or Terminus.

Face camp and hard tunnel. It'll be the only reliable way to slow down gens enough to actually win every once in a while.

Orrrr... just wait until the game is in a better state that isn't so blatantly survivor sided.

Why are you making this a survivor vs killer thing.. I just wanted to see what perks people are looking at but I guess

  • @Brimp said:

"the first time i see a developer punish players for being efficient"... mhmm yep totally. Its not like that efficiency completely invalidates half the killer roster and buffing them to be stronger would make them obnoxious (or even more) to play against.

So it's the survivors fault that we use self healing as a strat to be more efficient???.. .hmmmmm

  • @Aurelle said:

Yeah I'm not too keen on the self healing nerfs because self healing was the only thing that made solo survivor playable. Now that's been thrown away with the COH and Medkit nerfs, solo is gonna be more miserable.

Facts.. like it sounds good on paper but in reality people don't heal each other in solo like that.

  • @scenekiller said:

Don't you all ever get tired? There is no monopoly on complaining, both sides do it.

"Survivors" this, "killers" that - this game is not that serious. Play the game, maybe provide constructive feedback on things that actually need to be worked on, and chill out lol

I agree.. I think the competitive nature that came into the game has ruined it... I think it's a party game

  • @HugTechLover said:

It is quite literally the same on survivor side.

Enough with this “us vs them” #########.

Both sides is equally as whiney and entitled on the forums.

  • @TigerSnake said:

Even if they take Eruption out the game.. survivors are going to complain about something.. next it will be nerf Call of Brine.. then nerf Pain Res.. then "it should be a 5v1 not 4v1"... "why do killers move faster"... "killers shouldnt have perks"... survivors are the strongest they ever been and ya still complain

I mean I understand you're trying to be petty..but actually use things survivors have actually complained about.. just a tip if you’re going to troll

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Here we go again. Another "us vs them" post. If you mind people complaining so much, then maybe don't add extra oil into the fire.

    1. The cooldown can be lowered maybe the window can stay for 5 sec and the perk cooldown can be 30 sec (I consider 5 sec a lot since DS gave you enough time to run away not like now that is only 3 sec)
    2. The dummy hooks with no mither would actualy be op because as i said you can go into the dying state if you are injured but with no mither you can pick yourself up

The idea is a Perk that creates dummy hooks but there needs to be a downside, hmmm, how about, Survivors can create a dummy hook and if the killer hooks the carried survivor in that hook, the result would be like if the killer dropped the survivor

    1.im cool with that

2.you might be on to something... I really like the dummy hook idea

  • @Milo said:

    You're literally contradicting yourself.

Your changes are okay because they're fun for survivor side, but the changes @jinx3d said are aimed towards kill rates???

    What is this logic.

1.How did I contradic myself?.. this is a post about survivors fun .. I am biased as you can clearly see.. I don't care about killers like that...lol

2.ya had a whole patch dedicated to killers and boosting kill rates so what are you talking about... that's why I said what I said... if thier willing to nerf good survivor perks, nerf distance you gain after being hit just to boost killers.. I wouldn't be surprise if they made perks that destroys pallets and block windows in the area for 3min or some bull like that

You are not always meant to have resources. Windows are reusable, pallets are not, which is how they’re balanced.

Fun doesn’t warrant bad design or overpowered.

If you say so... my ideas are bad game designs but camping and tunneling is not?
