I understand the want for this. But this is a really really big issue. Especially since your DC bans don't reset over time. I've had the same 30m DC penalty for over a week now. I can play any amount of games but the moment i get DC'd for whatever reason, its a literal half hour penalty EVERY single time. This is yet another part of the game that seriously needs fixing. Not only fixing, but player reports are NOT taken seriously. Nor have they ever unless they were so serious it would get BHVR in trouble. People don't hardly even get muted for racism or threats. I've been told to "ignore them" or not go into chat. Title Unless you're using it to connect in your same country or a neighboring one, there is no reason players in Russia/China/Japan to connect to US servers. I'm tired of being forced to play with a SWF or get lucky and find a farming killer for Rift challenges. Please change these "challenges". They aren't even fun. I'd rather hit the killer with 20 pallets over the course of several games instead of intentionally having to find the killer, get them to chase me, then get lucky that the dedicated server's hamster doesn't have a stroke and fall off the0 comments 31 views last activity

Is anyone else worried about the upcoming DC bans? I don't DC intentionally too often. but I have the game lock up and DC me playing either side(have screens to prove it too). Then we have no choice but to DC when you get hit with the locker bug and can't get out and the killer opens it over and over but cant get the survivor out. Player has to DC. Just played against a killer playing from Dubai using a VPN. The killer was insanely laggy and warping everywhere. Players using a VPN to change their country in order to take advantage of both lag and already hit boxes need to be punished. No offering. No Devour Hope. If certain conditions are met, a survivor or survivors would be mori-able. Example: X amount of gens done/powered the main gen('achievement gens'), all totems destroyed, all treasure chests looted, unique survivors hooked, a survivor with extremely high chase time but never been hooked, etc. This would not be something easily available from the start of the match a6 comments 52 views last activity

Everyone is calling to punish the DCs. Ban them all! Eh. Not so much. This proves to hurt the player base in the long run if things like this get out of hand. There's 101 reasons a player can have to DC, legitimately. Killers are only hurt in a few ways. Stack of BBQ. Just in general points/exp to rank. Survivors are hurt the most. Ok. Killers get an anti-camping debuff in the PTB. Thats cute. Now, when will survivors get anti-loop debuff? Run in the same area for 20 seconds, get a speed debuff and trigger exhaustion maybe? I'm a survivor main. But the camping debuff seems a bit drastic. Not Sole Survivor. I can't seem to find any counter to it. At all. With the exception of SS... And telling anyone to run this trash perk is like telling a Wraith or Mikey to run Distressing...(unless you're purely farming BP) It took them how long for Calm Spirit to help counter The Doctor... but.. Before anyone assumes, Yes. I'm fairly triggered at the current hosting situation. I'm all for the sake of balancing killers and survivors. Nerf survivors more.. Don't care.. Hell, turn DBD into F13 and make killers so OP it kills the Pbase. I don't care. So long as you fix hosting. Since a lot of us already have ALL the Character DLCs purchased, would anyone else like to see any sort of reward once the Shop patch goes live? Maybe a boost in cells, shards or BP? Id be down if i got a bunch of bloody party streamers instead of just being handed currency(though, like birthday cards at my age...)..
