I've had a 6+ month hiatus from this game and started playing again a couple days ago. I was so confused cause I thought everyone had Kindred and then realised they changed the perk. When did they change it? I absolutely love it - as a solo player I can see how everyone is getting on and if I should continue the gens or go for a save. As everyone knows, DBD has a huge learning curve when you first start. I was still learning new things having played for more than a year! But what do you think you have improved upon the most? If survivors had specific roles (character related or not), which would you be? I think the roles are pretty self explanatory (hopefully) but free to interpretation. Tell us what perks and items you want associated with your role. Or which character best suits your role. I have to admit, even though I love playing this game, I take frequent breaks. Sometimes it's a week, sometimes a month. Had a 2 month hiatus and I found it easy to get back into it again. What are some of your most dumb/embarrassing moments in this game? After a brief hiatus I played last night and did pretty well. Then I played a match against a Wraith, it was a pretty easy match and I didn't get hooked the whole time. My team mate is hooked next to an open exit and I BT them off the hook and take a hit. For me, Balanced Landing seems like one of those perks that only works half the time. I just played a match and tried to use it about 5 times but it only worked 2 of those. I know that if you say, hit a rock on the way down it doesn't work but all of these time were falls and they still didn't work. So I was against a Trapper who loved trapping all the exits of the basement. All 3 of us converge on basement and I go down and unhook my team mate. Trapper is still trapping every piece of floor he can see and I make sure my team mate escapes but I run in a trap and am hooked. This may well be one of the dumbest rounds I've ever seen. So I'm Rank 6 at the moment on a team of Rank 11, 15 & 16 with a Rank 10 Pig killer. At the very start of the match Meg the Rank 11 is found first and downed. Then the other 2 are downed trying to heal her? I just had a killer DC at the end of the match before we could escape. I have no new blood points or pips, that's not a new mechanic right? Cause that would be BS. I didn't disconnect as it showed the killer had DC symbol and I didn't lose any pips. Is it a bug? 😣 Edit: I seem to have lost my toolbox too. I just got into another "Basement Situation" with Bubba. So after a chase I'm eventually downed and put in the basement. And then 1 by 1 the survivors come down and get insta downed, and I'm forced to watch helpless as they just throw themselves at Bubba. I play solo and don't play as much as I'd like but am getting back into it again at purple rank. I've always been a very altruistic player but I think I've been burned too many times now by crappy team mates who don't seem to understand what 'teamwork' is...
