As the title says. BHVR has basically confirmed that they nerf Killer addons almost exclusively by looking at how popular those addons are (what % of matches use them) and if the Kill Rate increases while using those addons. Unknown has been a victim of this, with basically every good addon being gutted over and over. So then… why are we still getting Blindness addons in 2025? Why is it still possible for Killers to hit a survivor on the hook and be forced into a weapon wipe, and why is it possible for an unhooked survivor to use their generously gifted basekit Borrowed Time to bodyblock for the person who unhooked them. It feels like this entire system was added as a way to prevent survivors from getting pissed off over being finisher mori'd. 90% of matches I get a 4k, the last guy just DCs cause he doesn't want to watch a 10 second animation. If you didn't read Skull Merchants lore (i dont blame you) then you might not know that shes actually basing her entire personality and clothing and weapons on a fictional character, also called the Skull Merchant. From what we saw in her original lore, it sounded like her dad just drew Fake Skull Merchant killing people in The Entity, but the Tome actually expands on it a lot more. BHVR had stats that track addons. They can see what addons are used the most and how much those addons increase or decrease a killers killrate. the most obvious example of when they used this was when they nerfed Marvins Blood. So, why are Blindness addons still a thing. people do not use blindness addons. i have never used a single blindness addon on any killer in about four years of playing m6 comments 161 views last activity

The old rift outfits arnt really that exclusive anymore, since anyone can just buy them in the store. I was finally finishing up and listening to all of The Human Quotient, and one part really stuck out to me as interesting. In Memory 1726, Talbot is thinking about the value of a human life, and starts scribbling a bunch of stuff about "Fold Energy". And the Otto/Dredge cult was literally called The Fold. After the DH rework got shown off I wouldn't be suprised if that perk went up to 80 or 90% userate from people trying to abuse it before its gone. I've been thinking about this for a while and it is kinda ######### me up. I've noticed that in every single Dredge outfit, base, prestige, the three recolors and doll outfit, the Arm is named as if it was the Head of the dredge. I made this list showing off how close each of the killers are to the Entity. For some explanations: The Dredge (not on the list yet) has a DIRECT LINK to the entity.
