From the killer's perspective, being hit validated is jarring and confusing. In two separate matches I thought I was going against cheaters because I would hit them and swear they should be downed - but they just vanished. As I play on the PS4, I often have lag/framerate drops after downing a survivor. They effectively "disappear" from my screen for 1-2 seconds and I have to look around for them1 comments 2 views last activity

A friend of mine just started playing DBD and was deciding which Killer to play. Using the Killer difficulties he picked Hillbilly. He had a lot of trouble using Billy's power and It got me to thinking that maybe the "Killer Difficulty Level" could use an update. TLDR; There is no point in being so sweaty, caring about having high MMR, or trying to "win" every trial. A lot of people don't like the new SBMM system. As best as I can tell, people are caught in some endless cycle of sweat. Survivors gen rush because they think the Killer will tunnel them out of the game as soon as possible. Out of curiosity, how does the playerbase define a win as a survivor or a killer? I find that as a newbie killer, I don't really care about getting 4ks outside of rift challenges and adept trophies. So I define a "Win" by how much fun I had in the match. How good were my chases/mindgames. How many people I downed. Often my 4k matches, the survivors still leave the trial with 20K bloodpoints. Enter into a match. The killer DCs while the map is still loading (the part where the name of the map is given and the camera is circling your survivor). The "Escaped Match" prompt shows up on the screen, as well as the match ending music is played. I am, however, stuck in the map. The post match screen doesnt load. Killers already get to see who they are going up against, as well as what they are bringing to the trial. I don't have a problem with this, but it got me wondering if there is a particular reason why the survivors don't get to see the ID of the killer they are going up against.
