Lately it feels like both sides of matchmaking in Dead by Daylight are being pushed toward “stat normalization” instead of genuinely balanced games. From the Killer side, I’m sitting around 375 played killer hours, and 115 survivor hours since the launch of stat tracking which gives me a relative ratio idea of my total 1,100~ hours and regularly getting chains of matches against extremely experi0 comments 71 views last activity

Of the following, which is your closest opinion of the development cycle based on survivor and killer balancing;0 comments 41 views last activity

I've been wondering this for a little while and there was a previous Dev stream about MMR in the past and while generally the community tends to answer these things rater well I was curious what the answer meant when it was implied it's context based; Getting 1 kill in a match might result in a slight increase in MMR Getting 2 kills in a match might result in a slight decrease in MMR0 comments 11 views last activity

So over time I was thinking about things that would lower the blood point grind of the game. Some have probably been mentioned plenty of times before, but three that I've kept in mind are; Perks don't need to have 3 tiers; I think this one is very straight forward because removing the need to churn through three levels of every single perk would dramatically drop the overall costs it would take.17 comments 401 views last activity

I decided to compile a list of positive changes to each side that happened in 2021, first the killers; Quality of Life Killers see a new widget which displays how many hooks they've earned during the match out of the possible total hooks. Mangled status effect always lasts until fully healed Decisive Strike - Now deactivates when performing certain actions that are not part of evading the K0 comments 61 views last activity

Back in September I made a thread asking people what is your personal favorite killer perk that is as popular to you as Survivor will run Dead Hard. Back then I generally always would include BBQ and Chili on a killer I didn't have all my perks unlocked on yet but now that we are passed that and new perks have dropped since then I decided to update my all time favorite perk of 2021; No Way Out17 comments 171 views last activity

Yeah I know, I was running a pretty generic build with DH, BT, DS, and unbreakable.25 comments 911 views last activity

I'll give you a few easy examples to get started; Dead Hard is a perfectly balanced perk. CoH takes too long to bless a totem. NOED is unfair because it rewards no skill.61 comments 981 views last activity

When I first started playing DBD I had a lot of things I enjoyed, but over time this enjoyment has ben slowly over time been shaven away, just little bit by little bit. At first I felt it was some killers were just not being looked at and updated (legion is still IMHO in the worst position still) The meta has been stale for over a year now, survivors will only run the exact same builds after a0 comments 23 views last activity

Which perk can you never live without because not taking it feels like you're severely at a disadvantage? Personally I think it's BBQ because the grind to get anything as a killer leveling up is awful. Once I'm done grinding out a killer though it probably has to be at minimum Pop or Ruin because not having any slowdown ability against survivors makes matches end too fast to even let the s29 comments 401 views last activity

I understand that I can do fairly well in the game, I've really enjoyed my as of current time 600 hours in it. I main killer and I have enjoyed leveling a few up to 50 so far, finding what works best for me and while I find the grind tedious it does allow me some leisure to learn a killer that's not a problem. My hardest and biggest gripe now is that I don't know what's been going on since Wedn2 comments 23 views last activity

So, as all best ideas tend to happen, I was taking a moment, sitting on my porcelain throne and thinking about what would be the best way to compensate for the fact everyone has a perk they hate, killers, survivors, everyone has a perk they despise seeing every single game, how do you adjust this so you don't see groups running it game after game after game. Nerfs always feel bad, no one i7 comments 121 views last activity
