  • Returning player (stopped around 8th year with a small stint playing again with unkown launch) who's been back a month and stuff feels good. Perk variety is generally high bar those who just run 4 slowdown perks as usual (although I see less of them) and as killer I also see a large variety of perks from survivors with more interesting builds. I keep on seeing people refer to this being a heal me

  • I feel like this happens every few years where the definition of stuff like gen rush, tunneling and camping start to loose meaning in rage posts and discussion threads. This has resulted in gen rushing in particular meaning anything. 3 gens pop at once, gen rushing. Game over in 5 mins, gen rushing. Bring toolboxes or gen progression perks, gen rushing. Not healing all match and then getting 4 ad

  • I'm of the stance there need to be improved base communication for survivors. Although I love the chaotic and fun nature of soloq many perks and stratergies don't work unless your teammates know you have the perks or an idea of what you're doing. Meanwhile trying to communicate basic ideas to teammates is sometimes overly convoluted and complex, sometimes to the point where it's better not to com

  • I stopped playing for a while after Singalarity and picked up again after Unkown came out and I have to say these are two of my favourate killers. I've been enjoying playing them alot and I'm glad I got them but am considering trying out Chucky and Xenomorph. They look like they have fun perks and the powers look pretty interesting but with Vecna also around the corner I would like to hear people

  • As title, to make it more interesting lets give 3: A killer you would buff, A killer you would nerf, And killer you would rework. These can be big or small, anywhere from a full power rework to just a couple of addons. I'm just curious where people stand on different killers and the game as a whole atm. Currently I wouldn't say they're any killers which are desperate for changes, with the c

  • Is very fun! I feel like the killer hits a good balance of being able to get some really good hits and plays without feeling completely unbeatable. Even at regular pallets the power is strong and can get a hit anywhere but can't guarentee one which keeps the survivors on their toes about how the killer may approach a given situation and if the survivor does manage to dodge they may of brought eno

  • When I say this I mean killer powers that provide some degree of control to the survivors that allows them to prevent or mitigate the power. This ranges from Ghostface getting revealed, Dredge and his locks or the Singularity's emps. Personally I like playing with and against them. A power that forces the survivors to be conscious of it and forces me to be more aware of what the survivors are doi

  • A very nice looking map which is generally considered killer sided I was wondering what most people thought of it consdiering many people seem to love it. I'll state my opinion first then explain, bad map with lots of great ideas. The aesthetic is lovely and the map has many unique and interesting tiles. However when played optimially as the killer the map is miserable. The general strength and

  • I personally wanted an addon rework for a while to make them more interesting and a random addon could be cool. Maybe uncommon addon for random perks, rare for random addons, very rare for random killer and ultra-rare for all 3 with a bloodpoint bonuses on all them too. It could be a pudding with the additional challenge or maybe even more bloodpoints for those looking to get bp, especially good

  • I've had a few matches so far of the new event and love playing with the new mechanics however whenever an event happens you find players (mostly killers in my experience) who just want to farm. On one hand play how you want, it's a game you paid for and you can do what you wish. On the other more compelling hand please play the game, the point of the game is the killer is trying to kill the surv

  • I personally have very much enjoyed this map. It's visually very pretty with lovely fuana, the mini hill tiles are unique plus fun and I've not noticed any major balance issues so far when playing survivor or killer. It doesn't look too safe, there are open areas for ranged killers but areas with a bit more obstruction for stealth killers and the main building isn't that safe from my experience.

  • Currently toolboxes are the talk of the town due to certain addons allowing you to get very strong genspeed bonuses however I don't believe toolboxes should be gutted atm. BNPs and commodious toolboxes are a bit overtuned in my opion but if toolboxes are nerfed what is left for survivors? Flashlights/firechrackers I would argue are in a good spot but not the strongest. Considering many people f

  • We hear many examples of bad addon kits such as Blight having many super busted addons, Executioner having very few viable addons or Myer's having tombstone piece but I'd like to talk about the opposite. Addon kits that have a variety of good options that give different play styles without feeling oppressive or unfair. My personal favourite is Dredge as each addon provides a different direction t

  • I made one of these previously about a couple of perks I liked and decided to make another about some I've been sitting on. These are perks that I feel like could do with a bit more love from the community despite their otherwise niche aplication. Firstly is fogwise, a perk from Victorio which shows you the killer's aura when you hit a great skill check. I'm a filthy casual scrub who can't hit g

  • Maybe I'll do these regularly but I want to do a quick, positive post on two perks I really like using. Info perks, addons and powers make me feel good as they allow me to make the right decision at a given moment and play to my potential without having to take unfortunate risks. A generally underrated part of someone's kit these are some of the better two: Lethal provides many killers with a ve

  • The proposed eruption nerf is harsh there is no saying otherwise, it lost lot of potential as a gen defence perk and will struggle on your average killer. Despite this the new effect is interesting. 10 seconds of aura reading is very strong, as an alternative to a perk like Infectious Fright or Floods of Rage it defiantly has the ability to compete. Gen kicking has other options with Call of Brin

  • I wanted to make a post like this for a while, and given the perk is going to get a nerf now seems like the time to do it. The Monkey's paw is a magical wishing item that gets you exactly what you want, but you'll regret it. Have the nicest meal ever, now everything else tastes bland in comparison, most attractive person ever, now everyone is harassing you all the time, want a large sum of cash,

  • Quick question, while holding a survivor can the Onryo avoid a flashbang by looking up? It works on other killers but I tried it on her and I still got blinded. Maybe I'm boosted and wasn't looking up enough, which case clown me, but I remember the Hag having weird camera interactions from being short so maybe this is the same.

  • As a complement to someone else's post, what combos do you like to use? I included items and addons to make it more interesting, but here are some of mine: Tinkerer + Grim embrace: A weird combo which has a weird synergy. Using tinkerer to protect gens can get you early, easy downs and leave the survivors with many gens on high progress without finishing them. This comes at the downside of surv

  • Firstly, when I speak of "swf" I'm namely referring to people who play to win and use comms as an intentional advantage rather than a group of friends having fun while chatting on discord, I'll refer to the latter as "friends". Regardless of what you think punishing friends for playing with each other will never be a good idea and even if swf is op a nerf like this would kill the player base of a

  • Step 1) have terminus trigger step 2) have one get open and wait for the broken duration to end step 3) Open the other gate, when the other gate opens the 30 seconds (dependent on perk tier) broken effect will be reapplied, meaning the broken triggers twice. This happened to me on Thomson House against a Mastermind with the perk, the broken effect was reapplied to both me on the hook and the o

  • With eruption confirmed changed, what other perk changes would you like to see in the near future? I have a few I'd like to share. I generally consider perks pretty balanced at the moment, with most issues beyond eruption coming from items, killers or maps, but there are still a few things to look at. I'm going to focus on nerfs here because they're about 20 perks minimum on both sides that need

  • Somewhat low effort post but despite all you hear about people praising perks and powers it'd be nice to listen to some add-ons to get some love too. I'll give 3 of my favourites to start this off with: Call to Arms for the Knight: Many people claim that holding w leaves the knight without a power and although true for what may be considered your level 1 knight strategy of dropping the guard

  • I feel like eruption has become the big name on the block and while most people can seem to agree that it's too strong, they're people who still believe it isn't that bad or believe it's a problem but maybe not for the right reasons. The first thing people talk about with eruption is balance. Kicking a gen with this perk marks it and when a survivor goes down the gen loses % and any survivors o
